As near as I can tell, the only freedom you’re in favor of is the freedom for everybody to believe and act exactly like you want them to, and death to any who don’t.
Doesn’t sound much like freedom to me.
It is not freedom rj. People like Shelley would like to shred the Consitution to peices. The sad thing is, they don’t realize that in doing so, they will end up losing as well. Once the Constitution is gone it is just a matter of time before no one has rights, only the power of government. Once that happens the government will come down with an iron fist on everyone, including Shelley.

Is there a problem with the values of the founding fathers? What is today’s values? From what I have read on some of the posts on this forum, the values of some of the people here are scraping the bottom of the barrel. All that I have seen is hate, fearmongering, inequality and loss of freedom of speech and wanting the loss of freedom of religion for the American people. If that is today’s new and improved value system, we can kiss the United States goodby.

“Christian Taliban”, that is just typical liberal nonsense. The Taliban stand for destruction and blowing stuff up; The Republicans on the oher hand stand for America and American Christian values.
Just look at all the good the Republcicans have done; We have passed legislation to protect marriage; We fought against the sin of euthanasia and we campaigned against desecration of our Nation’s flag. At every step of the way, Liberals like you opposed us, therefore it is liberals who are most like the Taliban.
There is nothing at all theocratic about beliving that we are a Christian Nation, and that we have a desire to return to the fundamentally Christian values of our founding fathers.
Do not forget that they escaped from England to get away from your sort of Athiest persecution.
What could be more democratic than allowing democracy to take its course and give our lawmakers the chance to make Christian laws; this after all is what the majority of Bible believing Americans want.
And for all you athiests; Perhaps you should go to France, a country that makes downtown Baghdad look like one of your peacenick war-protestor love-ins. The French government force everybody to be athiests and look where it got them!

Our forbears, most of them at least, didn’t come here to escape atheist persecution. Many of them came here to escape theist persecution, such as you support. They came here for religious freedom, not religious conformity.

The word is ‘unconsciously’. Your English is certainly much better than my French, but a couple of other minor corrections: ‘thing’ instead of ‘think’ (one covers a number of concepts (item, event, property are just a few), the other is a verb that Shelley and her friends apparently never use), and ’speech’ instead of ’speach’ (spelling)

I’ve just stumbled across your site today - I’m in England by the way - and I have to say I have never laughed so much in all my life.
If the only thing left to keep America strong is websites like this, it’s no wonder that Red China is marching upwards, ready to take over as the single superpower.
Empires come and go - as a Brit, I know that. But it’s going to be interesting to see the collapse of America in my own lifetime.
I would encourage any European who reads this to buy European. Why spend a fortune both from our wallets and the environment, shipping over inferior goods from the Yanks, when we can build better closer to home.
