I hate to disagree with you, but Ronald Reagan should be possibly be put above George Bush SR (I assume your list was in order), but other than that I think your list is just right.
I think this also proves that America has and will allways be #1. Apart from Jesus all of the people in the list are American citizens.
I would actually count Jesus as an American because his teachings are what underpin the moral values of the greatest nation on earth.

There are some, and that surprises me, American people who arent in the list, who were important. George Washington for example, or Thomas Edison. And foreign people like Leonardo da Vinci or Karl Benz, who, by the way, create the first car.
