“How can anyone hate America” you ask.
The reasons are so numerous I could wear my fingers down to stumps typing them all out; and if you think I am in a minority, have the courage to leave your country and see what the outside world thinks of you.
Speaking as I do from one of your only allies left in the world (England) I can say that although most of us know some individual Americans who are OK, as a whole the English have little but contempt for a country that so blatantly disregards the issues facing the whole world. You produce Hummers while the climate change issue threatens all our lives; you promote war in the Middle East which threatens the security of all of us; you blindly support Israel which gives credence to Bin Ladin’s assertions that their is a crusade against Muslims.
Worst of all, your ignorance of science demonstrated by your adherence to the the very worst excesses of fundamentalist Christianity expose how “the world’s superpower” is effectively run by morons. You managed to re-elect a leader whose IQ doesn’t hit 3 digits; and you somehow believe that you are “God’s country”.
Christ taught compassion; re-read the Sermon on the Mount if you doubt that statement. Go away, learn compassion, turn swords into ploughshares. Because if you carry on as you are, destroying the planet through excessive consumption and mis-guided neo-Colonialist policies, the hatred against your country will grow and grow.

How can you accuse a President of the USA of hating America? Isn’t that treason?
Just discovered this fantastic site. For too long we’ve had only those lightweights at Landover Baptist to satarise intellectually stunted, right wing morons. This site takes it to a whole new level. By savagely exposing the demented views of these small town, slack-jawed red necks you are helping the world understand that they should not be condemning the American people as a whole but instead save their scorn for this tiny minority for whom the rest of the world must be a terrifying and confusing place.
Perhaps we are being hard on them. Perhaps these people are more worthy of our pity than our abuse. It could be argued that in a civilised society instead of mocking them we should have them in homes where they can be treated with compassion.

I am amazed by this website. I have visited America several times and seen nearly half of the 50 states. Some I love, some I will never visit again. Iowa is a state I admit to never visiting, if the bigotry I have encountered reading this site is indicative of the general populous of the state, I feel I will strike this one off my list.
I can only assume educational standards are different there. I have read badly sourced, unsubstantiated citations that range from the wildly inaccurate to simply untrue. Having spurious and sometimes laughably inaccurate information in such abundance detracts from any solid argument you might be trying to form from it. It also calls into question the validity of any other data you use.
I like America and feel it sometimes is trendy to hate it. In the main it is simply trying to build a better life for it’s citizens.
My answer to liberals that espouse stopping the war and argue against foreign policy or government policies on forums like this should put their money where their mouth is and sell there house, pack up, move out there, picket, produce leaflets, build mud huts, supply water and food, and actually make a difference instead of bleating on websites and ultimately achieving nothing except procrastination.
And similarly, I have oft heard “America, beautiful place, shame about the people that live there” In this case it might just be true. It is possibly to love your country, uphold decent family values (such as decency, politeness and tolerance), defend your politics and project your views to others without resulting to petty insults that simply make you look imbecilic.
Hahaha. This is one of the best pastiches I have seen in quite some time. If I had one criticism, it would be that the grammar is sometimes a little too consistent for it to be mistaken for a genuine rant.
