Mam, I must say, It is one thing to support your party, it is another to completely disrespect all others. From what I have read of your site you don’t seem to be very open minded in terms of your opinions of people diffrent from you. (In some cases you actually get plain offensive, such as the downright making fun of the holocaust I see in one of the newsposts on this blog, By a person named Tristin I believe) Although I will probably be a Democrat when I grow up, I do have friends who plan on being Republicans when they grow up, and I don’t think they would use the term Democ-Rat. Could you please explain what specificly you don’t like about Democrats or Liberals. And while doing so please refrain from insults. Calling them things like Liers, Rats, Theifs,(As I have seen in this blog) are Insults, not reasons. It avoids the question. So I ask, What specific events led to this general hate of all things left wing? and Why?
I would not call it hate (although I had ever right to hate the leftwing), but I really dislike those liberals. Why? Strange that you even have to ask.
They want to destroy America. They don’t like freedom, they dislike everything America stands for.
This mighty nation is to important to be destroyed by their political powergames and ego-trips. Liberals are a bunch of dishonest and highly agressive freaks.
What would you call it when you are fighting a war and somebody in your family is constantly on the side of your enemy???
Oh one more thing: And this actually proves my point: YOU ARE LYING. I NEVER MADE FUN OF THE HOLOCAUST. What’s is wrong with you liberals?

And after I read a few of your blogs, you are the one who wants to forbid things, like certain books (Harry Potter), OS (Linux), or way of thinking (left wing) …

See, I thought it was Republican people who declared war to Irak … you killed there hundreds of thousands of people, for what ? for your leader powergame and ego-trip. Just because he wanted to steal petrol, you accepted all his lies about existing mass-destruction weapons. Since when do you condamn anybody before one does any crime ? I think Bush is the dishonnest one …

Perhaps they have a good reason to ! Like I said, you shouldn’t have gone there in the first place. And if some Arabic country were to invade America, wouldn’t try to resist ? it isn’t terrorism, it is resistance. Because they do go on with the war with the few means that they have. Perhaps, you should open your eyes and see things as they are : USA is not God country (he surely never said you should kill people, I even thought he said the opposite), Bush isn’t a hero, he’s the dishonnest guy.
Ho, and I’m not finished quite yet.
Before you talk about a subject, open books and study. You did cover yourself with shame talking about OS’s. Even for few friends of mine using Windows. Because you clearly prooved your lack of knowledge about computer history (by the way Babbage, the inventor, was French), about computer architecture (where do you think all the components come from ? USA ? no : Asia), computer software (it is prooven that Linux and many other free and not free OS’s are more secure and reliable than Windows) and globally about the whole subject.
And using a free OS doesn’t have anything to do with political ideas … what gives you the right to call anrchist and communist somebody who uses a really well made software, tested globally by millions of users (especially professionals) ?
Stop thinking USA is the best place and all the best things are made there. Open books, and study. And travel also. Surely, by the way you talk, you never lived in another country. You would have learned open-mind, respect, perhaps some history ans surely some realities.

I am keen to purchase one of your t-shirts in support of this excellent site. However I was disappointed to discover that they have already sold out of the X-Large and 2X-Large sizes. Do you know when this situation will be corrected? Fortunatly they still had plenty of small & medium for Mrs Shovel to choose from.

Tristan’s Solution is very very errily mirroring the holocaust. Jews were forced to wear patches to identify themselves before being shipped off to consintration camps. Maybe you did not know this, but someone did. And that’s plain offensive.
Political and religious zealots are so funny to watch. To those of us who do not fall to the disease it is easy to see the problem.
The zealots have blinders on and refuse to see or intelligently discuss other opinions because they are afraid they might not be able to adequately defend themselves.
If one feels that thier mindset is good and accurate, and were confident in the same, they would welcome discussion rather than stoop to third grade style name calling.

No one has a right to hate. I believe that America was founded by dissidents. The republican party that you love has screwed over the middle class for the last 30 years. If the conservative vision of America is so wonderful why have incomes stagnated for the past 30 years? Why do the “Red” states have higher rates of unwed births? How can you justify child poverty?
