I feel I have to make you aware of Mike Malloy of ‘The Mike Malloy Show‘. Mr. Malloy is another ‘Air America Radio‘ talk show host and he is very hostile towards our great leadership. He constantly refers to President George W. Bush as “the giggling killer”, “dumb bastard” or “raisin brain”; the mighty Bush family as “the Bush crime family” and America’s grandma, Barbara Bush as “evil bitch, that has brought more death and destruction over the world than anybody else”.
I know that we have Freedom of Speech in this country, but can we allow somebody to insult our leadership like this? Isn’t he undermining our credibility in the world? The great American patriot Bill O’Reilly of Fox News suggested in his show the ‘O’Reilly Factor’ to have all ‘Air America’ personalities arrested. I applaud this notion, but let me suggest an alternative. We must have Free Speech Zones for our airwaves! I propose that leftwing radio or television shows can only be broadcasted on dedicated channels or frequencies and everybody that wants to listen to or watch these treasonous shows must sign up for a “Liberal Media Passport” with the Department of Homeland Security! This way we would protect the right to Freedom of Speech but we would also be able defend our great Homeland from leftwing extremists.
I think it’s important for you to know how dangerous liberal talk and especially this Mike Malloy really is.

So for somebody who constantly whines about the “freedoms” of your great land, you’d like to remove freedom of speech?
The whole point of freedom of speech is that it’s free, no matter who you are. You can’t restrict people’s views just because you disagree with them.
Also, look up the word “extremist” in the dictionary, because liberals (by their very definition) are not “extreme”.

As a patriot, I feel it my duty to point out that what you are suggesting would be a gross violation of the constitution, and would not be allowed by the Supreme Court.
Additionally, it would dramatically drop relations with every other country in the world, and would leave the great USA isolated from even its closest ally, the UK, who, I am sorry to say, would instantly break off all diplomatic relations with the USA. Instead of making deals with the USA, they would make them with China, as would the rest of the world - even Canada.
In short, the rest of the world is not ready for such an obviously necessary extention of freedom of speech, so it would be, for the moment, an ill-advised venture, however distasteful their views are.
PS: May I suggest you make an article about how the President needs more powers to act decisively? Possible an Act of the Enabling of Homeland Security?

Great post Shelley! I think it is terrible what the evil liberals are doing to this country and like your idea of setting up a Free Speech Zone on the airwaves.
To take it a step further I think there should be Free Speech living areas. If liberals want to trash our great country then they can do it in their won nieghborhoods and leave the rest of us alone. Warning signs should be installed at the entrances of neighborhoods of liberals. With set aside ‘free-speech’ living areas there would be no need for the evil country trashing liberals to live in the pro-country, family, conservative neighborhoods.
I encourage all of us to contact our Republican representatives and tell them what we think. Free Speech is one thing but we shouldn’t have to be subjected to it 24 hours a day.

I was a sinner….until I came across this frankly incredible site I had strayed from gods way. I used Linux to steal money by using this evil software to copy dvd, download music from many european pirate music sites.
I have now burnt my old PC and purchased a brand new one from the great american company IBM with the windows XP program already on it. I have been spreading the word amongst my friends who had been using the linux program too. They have now moved to windows too. I am amazed at this fine example of americans excellance.
I regret that I had sex with other mens as the chinese linux hackers sent me to gay porn sites. They told me it was cool to be gay, now I realise that I have offended god with my behavior and I have now rejoined my local church. I stood up and confessed all my sins before the congregation one sunday, they welcomed me into their church.
I have met a fantastic women there who has helped me overcome the sin of gayness. I hope to marry her one day and have lots of boys of my own.
I attended a protest at my local boys school when I found they had been teaching this darwin to the children. I invited the boys back to my apartment and spent many hours with each of the boys telling them how they will go to hell if they dont stop this being taught.
They are lovely boys now and come over to my apartment regularly. I was a champion wrestler in my college days and I am teaching them wrestling. I get so excited when wrestling with these young guys.
so I am going to set up a no-liberal area in my community ( a very small one of just 200 people) most people support me in this apart from one family who recently moved here from a country called Belgium? Shelley; Another brilliant idea. I have allways felt that the current government, in their kind-hearted way have been too soft on liberal-media. Liberal media are the folks who would put a headline above national security.
If people wish to recieve liberal tv-stations or radio channels then they probably do not have the nation’s best interests at heart. This is exactly what the dept of Homeland Security was intended to police.
Even if you limit the liberal rants and insults to certain radio frequency, the radiowaves themselves would still travel through the space and the air you breathe. It’s disgusting ! Would it be possible to put all the liberals to one certain zone, which would then be electromagnetically shielded ? There are some liberals who think that freedom of speech means being able to shout “Fire!” in a crowded movie-theater.
The majority of Americans do not believe that criticising the President at a time of national crisis; in the middle of a deadly war should be constitutionaly protected speech.

A president who lies to his own congress undermines a nation’s credibility. Remember when he stood before the elected representatives and claimed that Yellowcake uranium was being sold to Iraq from Africa. Well Joe wilson, who was sent by the CIA to investigate this before hand found no evidence of it. When bush went and made the claim, wilson went public. They repaid him by outing his CIA agent wife and compromising national security. Wilson’s wife Valerie Plame was working on investigating wether or not Iran were working on a nuclear bomb it seems.
If you must know, the war on Iraq had been planned since 1997 by a right wing think thank called the Project for a New American Century (google it) you will find some interesting names on the members list.

With All due respect, this would make the first ammendment a farce. Slobodan Molosovic tried to shut down the liberal station B92 during the Serbia/Kosovo war and he ended up becomeing the leader of a pariah state for it.

The whole idea of invoking the 1st Ammendment notion of freedom of speech, is a total smoke screen.
Of course, people are free to speak. Of course there are even laws that regulate it. (Can’t swear on TV during certain times, can’t yell ‘Fire!’ in a theatre, etc.)
There are no laws or constitional statements that bar any one person or any group of people from working in unison in order to disprove or totally silence another person / groups statements and attitudes.
This should be obvious to the liberals. They accomplish it all the time.
The effort of trying to silence someone else has no bearing on the 1st Ammendment. If it has resemblence to it at all, it substantiates it.
“Shut up!”
Is the right of anyone to say.
“No, you shut up!”
Is the right of anyone to respond.
Boycott, mass boycott, complaints of all methods, and direct confrontation are all legal means to actually make someone shut up, and have them removed from broadcasting their message. Hard work is not unconstitutional.
The best method is education. Especially the kind that you are doing.
