Thought of the Day - 2 : America’s Goals and Scared Democ-Rats
I’m deeply troubled by the democratic Chicken-Littles who insist that climate-change is going to reduce our planet to molten lava. These are the same people who told us to brace for an economic crash. Despite their frenzied and shrill-voiced predictions, we now enjoy a period of strong, sustained economic growth.
I like to think of it as yet another gift from God, earned by our hard-working Republican government.
It does not take a genius to detect that the democrats are trying to distort our government’s agenda. They want to distract America with a smokescreen of lies and misinformation. The Democrats are so out of touch with mainstream America; This environmental paranoia they have recently begun is only one aspect of a strategy intended to distract attention from the real issues.
In my opinion, the following Republican policies represent what Americans really want:
1. Constitutional ban on same-sex marriage. America has made itself clear that Homosexual marriage is the greatest threat to our morality. Immoral liberals think this does not matter. They do not care if the institution of marriage is wrecked. Republicans have put this at the top of the agenda. We are determined to defend our nation’s values!
2. An end to immigration. Immigrants are weakening America’s moral fibre. Republicans recognise this threat and have the courage to do something about it. Republicans have the strength to keep America pure.
3. Lower gas prices. We are victims of a democratic / liberal campaign to make it impssible to use our cars. We must fight back. Liberals want you to bicycle to work. America wants to have the freedom to drive. Republicans know better than to pay any attention to the eco-nazis.
4. The War on Terrorism. God gave us total vicrtory in Iraq and Afghanistan. The liberal peaceniks wish we had lost. Liberals campaign to run-away from Iraq, wheras mainstream America wants to finish off the job.
What do you think? What are the other issues that the Dems are too afraid to handle? Lets confront them directly.

You prove once again that Republicans have their fingers on the pulse of America and democ-rats are as far removed from reality as they can be.

2 - RACISM is the real problem. And you’re a huge racist. Make those countries richer, with less inequalities and you would have a GOOD immigration policie.
3 - You can’t low prices on fossil energies! Damn it, better improve renewable energies than burning our ancestors oil-transformed.
4 - TERRORISM is USA. YOUR country is attacking. YOUR country is destroying. YOUR country is spreading liberals ideas like plague.

I’ll let our bearded, long-haired malcontents complain about things that don’t exist, I have my eye on a nice SUV over here, and I know that will be good for the economy and the safety of my passengers. You ask for other examples Tristan. Well, many democ-rats don’t see any problem with not worshipping God. Some even tolerate their neighbour and friends to commit idolatry and worship false gods. Not so long ago in Europe it was mandatory to attend church service every sunday. I think it’s a good way to prevent ifolatry to be commited in America. We could start by turning places where people commit idolatry into churches, what do you think?
You’re forgetting that the Demon-rats also fail miserably when it comes to protecting the rights of the unborn (or anyone for that matter who can’t vote or give money to them).

If you’re a homosexual, that should be your first concern. There are Christian organizations that can help you to be cured. You might want to contact Shelley or Sam for advice.

Several points:
a) you say it’s been proven that a zygote has an immortal soul? and that it’s been proven MANY times?!?!? name once (that is not taken on faith). please find just one reference where it was scientifically proven that any lifeform (pre or post birth) has a soul.
b) have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe, you’re wrong about everything?! ever considered that your god might want you to care and about everybody (including immigrants and homosexuals). i’m a canadian, and i’m no more proud of that than i am of being human, but at least here in canada we celebrate multiculturalism, not condemn it. i celebrate my culture, not the geographical location of my birth.
c) lower gas prices… i can’t even think where to start on this one. global warming is undeniable, there is solid, verifiable and peer reviewed proof constantly emerging that explains how increased CO2 emmissions WILL cause serious environmental problems such as rising sea levels, increased occurences of severe weather and widespread drought in some areas while flooding others. there is no debate here in the scientific community. the only debate about this is in the right wing media (fox news for example) which, obviously, has plenty of funding from right wing businesses. anyway, no one is saying “ride your bike to work”, what they are saying is “don’t buy an H2 or a massive gas guzzling pickup to commute 50 miles to your desk job”! no one is trying to steal your precious freedom, all they’re (who ever “they” are… you seem to have a select group pegged here) trying to do is get people to act responsibly and not take the environment for granted.
d) war on terrorism. yeah, i hate terrorism too. no joking, it makes me sick when a country or group of people try to exert their will by taking the lives of innocent people. but then again, i also hate poverty. i think it’s so frustrating to see millions of people die every year needlessly simply because they were born into an irresponsible government meanwhile in other more developed countries there is a surplus of food (canada included). but while terrorism is killing shall we say thousands of people per year (and it is a tragedy), poverty and hunger is killing MILLIONS.

Boycott mexicans!
Boycott Mexico, here is a list of activities you can do:
1.-Huge part of the cloth used by americans is made in Mexico. the rest is in countries like El Salvador, China, Pakistan and so on. You can stop using cloth.
2.- You can stop using car. Oil and many cars products also come from Mexico (or Venezuela or so on).
3.- Let stop going to the bath. Many are cleaned by mexicans.
4.- Finally the million of americans should come back to USA.

How could you possibly believe that? I am also Canadian, and I, too, celebrate multiculturalsim, not condemn it. You people are so ignorant to believe one word of this…..I don’t even know what to call it. I hope this is a joke because if it isn’t you are putting Americans to shame. I’m not Anti-american or anything but this is just pure ignorance.
And as for your “four policies”
1. If you say that your country has made up its mind about homosexual marriage, then why is it an issue? Obviously people in your nation are reconsidering it if its been brought up for debate or whatever.
2. Why is immigration so bad again? Because they are weakening America’s moral fibre? Ever thought that pretty much everybody’s ancestors in America are immigrants? If you’re part English, Scottish, German, French, Russian, Asian, etc. then guess what: your ancestors *immigrated* to America. There aren’t many pure Natives out there anymore, and I doubt you are one of them. I have come to understand that you merely feel threatened by other cultures. You fear change. You are scared. You can’t avoid change: it’s gonna come. So stop being such an ignorant person. Oh ya, one more word: Racism. The way things are done doesn’t make a difference in the kind of person you are.
3. This comment brings one distinct word to mind: Selfish. Try caring about something other than your own self for once. If we don’t change the way we’re doing things now our kids will be the ones to suffer. Do you really want to destroy what a beautiful earth we have today? We must take responsibilty for our actions and respect everybody’s point of view. We have to stop thinking only of our needs and wants and think about others for once.
4. Sure, terrorism is bad. We all know that and we all want it to stop. But how is sending kids to Iraq to get killed gonna help? You obviously haven’t thought that through very good, have you?
