Only Liberals can take something wonderful and beautiful like America and the American society and claim it would be something ugly and dangerous. Now they actually complain that they have to pay taxes! Can you believe it? We always knew that liberals are cowards and slackers, they have proven this to us over and over again. They want to cut and run in Iraq, they don’t want to fight against terrorism and crime, don’t want to fight against drugs and poverty and now this?

It is just shameful. I am a very proud American but the thought that people like this also claim to be American makes me sick. They are not American, they are something else. The movie company “Cinema Libre Studio” has strong ties to the Venezuelan government. I believe they are directly funded by Hugo Chavez!

This is an urgent matter, we have to stop this piece of crap movie from appearing whatever it costs in order to protect the good name of America in the world.

I am hereby issuing an urgent STR ACTION ALERT!

Please do one of the following:

  • Contact “Cinema Libre Studio” and urge them to stop the release of this and other America hating productions.
  • Contact your congressman and urge him/her to issue legislation to ban this movie and the above movie company.
  • Educate your friends and family about this hateful movie. Do not allow your children to watch it!
  • If we can’t stop the movie before it’s release date, go to the movie theater and stop people from seeing it!

    That sounds like quite a facist thing to ask of Americans. Passing legislation like that would be in direct violation of the 1st Amendment, and thus “unconstitutional.” Why would someone who claims to love America so much, ask her fellow citizens to tread all over their own Bill of Rights?

    BTW, Winston Churchill is hardly “little known.” He was one of the U.S.’s greatest allies during World War II, and without his help we might not have won. And Fredrick Douglass wasn’t a foreigner.

    now that I went to a screening of the movie in Austin, I can assure you all this is not an anti-American film. Just the opposite is true. It is a film about true liberty, what has gone wrong, and how to get it back. I highly highly everyone to get out and see this movie this weekend even if it means driving a few hours.

    Did everyone notice how Shelly (along with the IRS) REFUSE to answer questions about the issue of the income tax?

    The reality is this: The income tax AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE………IS (get that?) IS Constitutional.

    But to establish liability requires a MINIMUM of FIVE separate statutes. The FIFTH statute is paramount. For instance, Section 871 or Section 911 ARE what are known as “operative sections” of the code WHICH DO ESTABLISH LIABILITY for foreigners working in the United States and for the foreign earned income of Americans, respectively.

    THERE IS NO OPERATIVE SECTION that shows the activities of the average american as taxable. The misapplication of the Internal Revenue Code is used to help HIDE the massive inflation being created by the Federal Reserve.

    FURTHER CLARIFICATION OF MY LAST POST.

    What people need to realize is that the income tax is imposed on ACTIVITIES. It is NOT imposed on the money earned during those activities. The money is only the MEASURMENT of the tax. IF one engages in one of the activities that ARE statutorily shown to be taxed (like the examples above…sections 871 & section 911) then THOSE persons ACTUALLY DO OWE THE TAX.

    What is the great evil that Hugo Chavez has committed, Shelly? Is it because he has legalized land ownership for the poor? Is it because he has improved health care and education in his country? Is it because he has protected small businesses against gigantic international corporations? The true power struggle in this country is between elites in the government for control of empire and between rival imperial countries. There are other countries conducting war games to get there militaries stronger like China, Russia, and the ‘Stans to try to counter the American empire.     I’m a conservative Libertarian. I believe in the right to free speach. I believe in defending the country, (i’m a vet), and I believe that we have a serious problem in this country and its source is Washington D.C.
    As for the war on drugs, while I don’t think drugs are good for anyone, I have yet to see a constitutional amendment, that gives the government the authority to tell us what we can or cannot own and consume. We tried that once. And it failed, so we passed another constitutional amendment to repeal the first one. Remember Prohibition? It FAILED.

    Shelly, you want to fight poverty? STOP TAXING THE HELL OUT OF US! Arron’s film is talking about 1, ONE, tax out of over 50 listed in the IRC (title 26, the internal revenue code). Why is it Shelly, that you seem to think that the government has an absolute right to the fruits of our labor, and can take as much of it as it wants?

    I am willing to financialy support my government, but not when that government refuses to live on a balanced budget, and instead insists on overspending to the point where my great-great-grandchildren will be paying for the wasted spending that was blown last year, which results in an ever increasing tax burden on the American people.

    We now pay in taxes, rates compariable to the European nations.
    We now pay overall in taxes, the highest rates in our nations history, yet the war on poverty hasn’t made any progress. The war on drugs hasn’t been won - unless you count the millions of people in jail (a further burdon on the taxpayer) as a victory, and we are still TRILLIONS in debt.

    Shelly, you need to get your priorites stright.

    Greetings from Norway! Some 35 years ago I worked and lived in the US. Prior to that it was my dream to be able to do this and come to the number one country of “freedom” in the world. Since that time I have visited your country more times than I am able to count. I used to argue your position and defend your way of life in groups or parties where the issue of the USA came up. And I did so with passion!

    I am sorry to say, - not any more. Something has happened with the number one country of “freedom” in the world. Previously I used to feel a great sense of freedom and respect for my individual rights when putting my feet on your soil. This does not happen any more. Instead I increasingly find myself feeling like it might have been to come to the former USSR many years ago. I find myself saying that if this continues the good old USA will become a police state, if it is not such a place already?

    I also more and more question your leaders view of the world. I remember back in the 70?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s and 80?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s when friends critizised you and said you were a kind of a “cowboy country” - shooting first and possible asking questions later. I am so sorry to say that I am starting to understand why they said this, although there must be a huge difference between the USA of the 70?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s and the USA of today.

    I used to love you. Now I ask myself, are you cheating on me? I used to say how lucky we all are to have the USA to stand up agains the former USSR. Now I some times find myself feeling a greater sense of freedom when I am in Russia!!

    As for the movie you so vividly want to have banned, I am chocked! What a stunning confirmation of the “new” USA you provide by doing so! And to top it off, you are a republican!     Do you have any sources to back up your claims or are you just expressing your opinion here Shelley? Free speech is a big part of America, and by people insisting that they keep their rights of free speech should lead you to the conclusion that they are patriotic to the core instead of liberal cowards and slackers. A coward would be someone who doesn’t stand up for their own rights. A coward would not attempt to hold their government accountable and in check. Every day the Bush administration changes laws to destroy the check and balance system that our founding fathers put so much thought into.

    Because I demand that our government stay in a state of checks and balances, does not mean that I no longer wish to fight terrorists. How do you come to these conclusions?? Did you put any thought into them?

Nevertheless, he talked about Shelly as a born again Christian? - and claimed that it is a problem for such people to open their minds and eyes to the truth in regard to the issues being discussed here?

    I strongly disagree with you Dan! I am myself a born again Christian and have born again Christians as friends in the US as well as in Australia, and they have all been able to see the serious problems with what is going on in the US today. In fact, one born-again Christian friend in Florida, says: “I am not, sorry to say, proud to be an American any more!”

    I pray to God that everything happening in your country and in the world today, is all part of His plan in some way and that we will never really see America as “police state!”

    Thank you for your response to my post. I was not able to e-mail you directly, so I’m posting this in hopes you will have the opportunity to read it here.

    I appologize for the lack of clarification in my original text.

    In my post, I did not say that born again Christians had a difficulty in accepting truth. I used the term Fundamental Christians.

    In my mind, the connotation of the phrase “born-again Christian” and “Fundamental Christian” have different applications. What blurs these “titles”, however, is that Fundamental Christians will claim they are born again. The point I was making was in the bibical quote, “born again by the renewal of your mind.” A born again Christian would be able to recognize and accept the truth by the renewal of his/her mind, whereas a Fundamentalist is locked into an unchangeable belief system.

    I’m certainly splitting definitive hairs here, no doubt. And, perhaps the split is my own personal discernment and may very well be nonexistent in another’s view. I hope this clarifies my intent. I will be more concise in any future posts. Thanks for the heads-up.

    It unfortunate when a party who is always after tax cuts, and that is considered “American” but to actually have a basis that the tax might be unlawful is “un-American”. Then they want to call the Dem’s wobbler’s or waffler’s whatever ot os they say.

    Also note this has absolutely nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with the tax law and what is says. What is “Domestic Taxable income”

    If you would believe that the tax law is unlawful does that make the democrats the bad guys for usually pushing taxes for public services?

And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.

    THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES

    We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

    Article I
    Section 1. All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

    Section 2. The House of Representatives shall be composed of members chosen every second year by the people of the several states, and the electors in each state shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the state legislature.

    No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five years, and been seven years a citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state in which he shall be chosen.

    Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole number of free persons, including those bound to service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons. The actual Enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct. The number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty thousand, but each state shall have at least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the state of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five, and Georgia three.

    When vacancies happen in the Representation from any state, the executive authority thereof shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies.

    The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; and shall have the sole power of impeachment.

    Section 3. The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each state, chosen by the legislature thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote.
