Thought of the Day - 21 : They love abortion, they hate our Freedom

I’m sure you have heard the good news: Our President just vetoed the Senate’s murderous stem cell research bill, which as you know was just a form of back-street abortion. This bill mandated the use of what liberals call “blastocysts”, a fancy made-up word which means unborn baby. These unborn children would be “harvested” for a rare substance called “stem cells”, so called because they can only be found in the developing infant’s brain-stem.
A defencless baby: Why do liberals want to murder him? It’s because he has valuable stem-cells in his brain. Liberals say this is morraly acceptable because he is only a “Blastocyst”, and therefore he has no right to life.
Liberal critics have cited activist organisations such as the Christopher Reeve Foundation and the Michael J Fox Foundation, but what would these Hollywood liberals know of morality? Both of these men were punished for their sinful attitudes, why should we listen to them? Clearly God has spoken against stem-cell research, and The Bible makes this abundantly, unambiguously clear.

I was saddened to hear the illogical complaints of a small group of ivory-tower scientists who insist that they have to go on murdering babies. Their claims to the importance of embryonic stem-cell research might have had some merit were it not for the fact that this sort of thing has zero commercial and medical value.
STR’s Fact File: Can Embryonic stem cells cure people? There is not a single recorded case of anybody being cured with stem-cells. That hardly matters to liberals who just wan to do harm. The Bible says that healing only comes through God’s love.
I personally do not care if ignorant scientists persue this blind alley in unenlightened hell-holes like Europe and China. These countries are no stranger to fraudulent and immoral research. I say let them waste their money - we shall keep our funds for research that God allows us to do. The money that activist senators want to put towards baby murdering could go to genuinely important research organisations like the Discovery Institute.
The discovery Institute are a non-partisan scientific research organisation dedicated to discovering God’s will. They are famous for campaigning against junk science. Our president and senior government officials have used the Discovery Institute to help set education policy.
Still more preposterous, liberals have claimed that Ronald Reagan, would have supported stem-cell research had he been alive today. Once again, liberals are talking out of their hat. Reagan was a staunch supporter of the Right to Life. There is no way he would have killed babies even if it had the potential to save himself. Reagan was a war-hero who risked his life on many occasions for America, he was not afraid to die. To say otherwise is a slur on one of the greatest Americans that have ever lived.
STR’s Fact File: What’s so important about Embryonic Stem Cells? Scientists love Embryonic Stem Cells because they are “pluripotent”, which means they are the most convenient kind of cell for human cloning. This has allways been a “Holy-Grail” for liberal scientists because it will allow homosexual couples to produce children. This is obviously contrary to God’s wishes.
I think Karl Rove had it right - he cited a number of studies which prove that Adult stem-cells hold much greater research potential. These can be safely removed from convicts who are due to be sentenced to death anyway. That way no souls will have been lost and God will not be angry. I agree with Karl - God does not want us investigating embryonic stem-cells any more than he wants us to murder babies. Liberals have allways wanted to deny Americans our most fundamental freedom: Our right to life - I’m glad a Republican president has the courage to stand up for what is good for humanity.

I could not agree more. Once again your words reflect the moral and intellectual superiority of the conservative community.
I will never understand why democ-rats on the one hand claim that they “hate war” and on the other hand love to kill innocent children. I have to assume it’s because children are helpless and can not fight back. The political left once again displays a chilling ignorance for human life.
It’s good to know that good, Christian republicans like youself stand up for what is right.

first of all: it’s about plus minus 400.000 embryo’s. i hope you do know what’s going to happen with those now. yep, they’re just going to be destroyed (except a few being adopted but they are very unpopular).
so please realise what your president wants to happen::: the destruction of hundreds of thousands unimplanted blastocysts without them being scientificaly used to rescue lives.
(diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases, blood disorders, cancer, etc,,,)
plus, a blastocyst is a group of cells between 0,1 and 0,2 millimeter big. there isn’t a human recognizable in that + it takes another eight weeks until that group of cells is large enough to have a more or less completed nervous system and is to be called a foetus. i have every objection against abortion after the nerval completion in the foetus, but every support for morally approved usage before that time!
if it can’t feel, isn’t self-aware a bit and doesn’t have all the organs, we aren’t talking about a human being. in objective terms, it’s appropried to start talking about human beings and their lifes when it is developed at a certain stage during pregnancy.

You can clearly see the proportion of the arm of the 10th week foetus. It as nothing to do with the abortionNo.org image. So it is probably a make up. Even official anti-abortion are making fact for their campaign, that’s gross!

It’s right there, they haven’t had the chance to hear God’s word, so they are judged on their actions. They can’t sinned while in he womb, so onwards they go to be with our Lord. Hearts, lungs, liver and kidneys can be grown from these elimating the organ shortage and removing the need to take immunosupressant medication which bring many other risks to the recipients life.

If you did any research at all on bill H.R. 810 the vetoed stem cell research bill, it does not talk at all about aborted babies. The “aborted babies” you talk about are un-used frozen fertilized eggs with a cell count of less than 100, that have not yet formed anything resembling a baby. These were eggs fetilized and grown in a lab dish and had never seen a womb let alone been “aborted”. They are frozen and from in vitro fertilization clinics where they were going to be discarded. Yes, that’s right, President Bush “saved the babies” to be washed down the drain as medical waste.
I keep hearing this pathetic liberal talking point about how because of our brave President Bush’s veto, embryos are going to be thrown in the trash or otherwise destroyed if they are not allowed to be used for stem cell “research.” As if that’s a bad thing!
Taking this despicable argument to its logical conclusion, people should not be buried after they die. What a waste!

Fetuses really are parasites, though, biologically speaking. The ambilical cord is a way of filtering blood so the the mother’s anti-bodies (not just the Rh antibodies, but the immune system itself) won’t attack and kill the fetus (otherwise a truer connection through porous epithileal lining, like in the lungs, would suffice). This is because the fetus uses energy (huge amounts of energy!), nutrients, oxygen and shunts blood away from the mother, along with the other unhealthy aspects of pregancy, and the body recognises such actions as parasitic and not in its interests. So, yes, parasite. Not always unwelcomed, but a parasite all the same.
