Wal Mart: The real truth about this great store!

Wal Mart is great so why do Liberals always criticise it?

Liberals never cease to amaze me. It’s like they hate everything that makes America the best country on God’s earth, and for no reason that I can understand. I mean, take Wal Mart. What’s the big deal there?! To read the way absurd Liberal commentators who control our media and TV stations complain about it, you’d think Wal Mart were in league with Saddam Hussein or the Dark Lord Satan himself. It’s crazy! As far as I can work out, all they do is sell stuff at the low prices we Americans enjoy. Naturally, I’m too rich to shop there, but it must be just great for poor people?

Wait a minute! Aren’t Liberals supposed to love poor people and always want the best for them? Obviously not, because when a shop comes along that can give them 6 pints of milk for less than half a dollar, they just start moaning about it and telling us all we should go to “organic delis” and eat disgusting unpasteurised French cheese. Where’s the logic there?

Wal Mart
Wal Mart. Where Jesus would shop. If he was poor.

awful French cheese
Liberals want us to eat cheese like this. With mould in it. Rather than safely irradiated Wal Mart product. Are they crazy? Yes.

What’s more, Wal Mart creates jobs for poor people too. In fact, at a rough guess I’d say that more than 90% of the Wal Mart workforce are poor. But are the Liberal Elite grateful for the fact that these people are being given useful employment and kept away from the streets? Oh no! They just moan and whine about Wal Mart staff having to work supposedly long hours and not being allowed to join a union (Note to Liberals! Not everyone in the USA is a raving Communist! We don’t want Unions. They are bad for workers and bad for America. Was Jesus in a union? No!)

Our Savior!!!!
Jesus Christ did many things. But he did not join a union. So why are Liberals so mad about them?

Liberals are also always going on about how great immigration is too. Yet when Wal Mart takes advantage of this to get even cheaper labor (and therefore ever better value for its customers!), Liberals are in uproar.

Liberals also like to bang on about how much they love foreigners and everything that is un-American. Woe betide that Wal Mart has some goods manufactured abroad, however! You’d think they’d just bombed Pearl Harbor judging by the screams of fag rage from the left leaning media pundits about Wal Mart’s factories abroad (inspired by someone called Naomi Klein, who is a Canadian. Need I say more?).

So what’s the real reason Liberals hate Wal Mart? Well, it’s because they hate America. Wal Mart is good for America and therefore in the twisted Godless religion of leftist ultra-liberals, a bad thing.

As usual, these Liberal wingnuts are wrong. WalMart is just great for our economy! It made more than $11.2billion net income in 2006! And what’s more, they’re always sure to donate to the Republican Party, therefore helping the US economy yet further and helping us defeat the Muslims in the Crusade against terror? And that’s the last thing Liberals want!

“The High Price of Low-Cost”: An anti-business abuse of 1st Ammendment rights from the wingnut liberals. Fortunately this DVD’s hateful message will reach few Americans because it is not on sale in Wal Mart.

That’s why I urge STR.com’s Christian readers to shop at Wal Mart today - and always - if you want to keep Republicanism staying strong, to keep our economy going the same way, to ensure America remains Christian and to help us kill more Muslims every day!

Thank you God for sending us your one and only son Lord Jesus,

Sam Johnston

P.S.
(Here’s another interesting statistic taken from Liberal Lie Library Wikipedia: “In the 2004 US Presidential election 76% of voters who shopped at Wal-Mart once a week voted for George W. Bush while only 23% voted for John Kerry. By contrast 80% of voters who never shopped there voted for Kerry with 18% voting for Bush.” The Liberal conspiracy against Wal-Mart is really being put into context now!)

Sammy, you are all immigrants…most from, dare I say it, Europe.

  2. Shelley September 26th, 2006 3:12 am

Thanks for your article Sam, I learned a lot from it.
I have to disagree with you on one point, though. I think Jesus would shop there even though he is not poor. Walmart has something for everybody. It’s always fun to shop their. They always have my favorite chips on discount, they have DVDs and Christian books, they have toys for the kids and we also buy all our clothes there! They have the best quality for the lowest price. Our Walmart in north-west Iowa City even has a MacDonalds in the store, so before you go shopping you have eat. Everybody knows you should not shop on an empty stomach, right?
Anyway, I enjoy Walmart every time I go there. I hardly go anywhere else.
Wal*Mart Supercenter just rule, as the young people say!
    Best wishes from Iowa,

    Christophe Le Cur??Ǭ©,
sorry to say but your logic is idiotic.
According to your logic EVERYBODY would be an immigrant. I don’t think that your folks have been living on exactly the spot you are living now for over 200 years. I bet SOMEBODY in your family came from outside France (or whatever), so does this make you an immigrant, too? I tell you what, you are a damn racist, that is what you are!
How long does a family have to live somewhere to not be considered an immigrant anymore???
My family for example they came over to America more than 250 years ago. Sorry, but I am not an immigrant anymore. Idiot.

  4. Christophe le Cur??Ǭ© September 26th, 2006 5:06 am

Moi, racist…Shelley, from you, the funniest thing you’ve ever said to me. I go now to my coffee a happy man!

    250 years, wow. Deeply impressed.

I think you miss the point, ch??Ǭ©rie, like so many immigrants, it was fine for you to do it, but you don’t want others to follow your footsteps.

    Christoph,

Shelley’s family were the right kind of immigrants. And now she’s an American. there’s a big difference, you know. She’s rich and Christian and a political candidate for the Republican party. She isn’t some ugly foreigner who can’t even speak American, is hidden from the light of our LORD and savior and earns a living by commiting crimes and cleaning toilets.
    Honestly.

Sammy, you are all immigrants?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?Ǭ?most from, dare I say it, Europe.

I suppose we might arguue that we are all immigrants from the Garden of Eden six thounsand years ago, except that some of us were chosen by God to settle in America. Listen to BBN’s excellent podcast about how God guided the pilgrim fathers so that they could set up a church in this new expansive land.

And some people are not God’s chosen people and have no right to be here.

May I remind you that America has a covenant with God. If we Keep God’s law, then God will continue to keep us strong and wealthy. God has rewarded our faith with a great leader for the new millenium. I just know George W Bush will contunue to lead our nation (even after he is no longer President), until the Rapture happens and then Jesus Christ will be our new commander in chief!

  7. Sam Johnston September 26th, 2006 5:24 am

    Amen Tristan,

I just hope they clear out the muslims from Palestine fast enough to carry out that great prophecy in our lifetime. I’m rapture ready!

Where is can i find those wise words from our friend Billy Bob by the way? Is there a link you could ask jesus to supply us with?

    Stong and wealthy : Mwahahahah
Strong ? Look at our debacle in Iraq, more than 3000 U.S. soldiers KIA. And intelligence agencies have stated that this war have made U.S.A. even less safer.
Wealthy ? Our great president G.W.B. has created an unprecedent deficit of 8.500 billions dollar. (and counting)

Note : Seems that this cheese is Roquefort. It’s very difficult for french people to find good cheese abroad.

Walmart is bad when its put into a small town. And it easily defeats the small businesses that are in the area. Though in an urban environment, its a good place to find cheap products. Money wise, and quality wise.

I dont go to walmart anymore. The people who go to walmart in an urban environment scare me. I think they are going to break into my car.

So i dont like walmart anymore.

Oh, and if you get the “pleasure” of having a boss that was in the union, you wont like it much.

They learned in the union not to work hard and have other people do their work for them. It is kinda like Communism. Being able not to work as hard and to be assured a minimum pay.

It did (back in the day when it was good) help people from getting shafted by the big factories who didnt care at all.

And I’m proud to speak an American dialect of English…

  13. Christophe le Cur??Ǭ© September 26th, 2006 7:58 am

And who gets to decide on the right type and wrong type of immigrant? Is it you, Shelley? I don’t think you were chosen by god, I think, as in almost all choices in life, it was an economic decision, mixed in with some religious persecution - my, doesn’t that sound familiar!

I suppose as long as you continue to believe your little fairy stories about garden of Eden and such, there is no hope of a rational discussion.

I agree, I miss Billy Bob, the most hidebound of you all.

My goodness gracious! Listen to the little liberals howling about how somebody had a good idea and it weren’t theirs.

Oh, boo-hoo, the health food store where I bought my wheat germ and herbal abortion pills had to shut down because Wal-Mart came in. How, oh, how can I have promiscuous sex and undermine the government without my yogurt in the morning?

Let’s put your cards on the table, liberals - You don’t like Wal-Mart because you hate retards. Retards ain’t pretty to look at and they don’t walk around saying clever things like that gay guy on Will and Grace. And who does most of the work at your local Wal-Mart? Retards. You can stand to look ‘em in the eye, and see their sweet, angelic smiles, so full of Christ-like acceptance. They ain’t got pretty voices like Hanoi Jane or George Cloo-less. You recoil in horror at the checkout counter when they’re bagging your purchases (stuff you probably couldn’t afford on money you make selling macrame and jewelry) and ask you “bayber ah bastic?”. All they wanna do is support themselves but y’all think they oughta be locked up in some institution where you don’t have to look at them and they remain dependent on the welfare state.

Y’all liberals make me wanna vomit. Well, you’re gonna get your wish in the after-life because all retards immediately go to Heaven so they won’t bother you while you rot in Hell

Wal-Mart actually totally killed my last car in a simple routine oil change….didn’t note that my car was a V6 instead of a 4 cylinder and put in the wrong oil filter, and all the oil leaked out and my car was dead after 20 minutes of driving on the highway. Great service? No. But the cheque from the lawsuit was substantial enough to buy another car and pay for my rental and the towing.

Moral of the story: If you want a new car, just take your current one to Wal-Mart, and they’ll take care of you in a nice fat check after you call your lawyer.

  22. Christophe Le Cur??Ǭ© September 27th, 2006 3:01 am

Oh, Billy, how I have missed your erudition. Even my students can come up with far more witty names to call people than you do. If someone doesn’t agree, they are homosexual, if they come from somewhere else, they are homosexual and probably liberal. Call them some silly name for good measure, that will really make them feel bad!

Sorry I didn’t have time to write to you yesterday, but I had grown-up’s work to do, a heavy teaching schedule…we believe in education not fairy stories here in Europe.

  23. Sam Johnston September 27th, 2006 4:26 am

    Tessa,

I fully uphold your right to sue… it’s a great American institution and I thank Jesus for lawyers. But isn’t taking money from WalMart like taking money from the poor?

  24. Eric September 27th, 2006 3:26 pm

Also, it will please you to know that Wal Mart is moving out of Germany completely. I think it was a mistake to open a single Wal Mart there anyway. Do they deserve great American products for low prices? Clearly not. Let them have their inferior crap or let them buy this disgusting French cheese.

I can understand that with their high unemployment rates and their crippled “welware” systems they want nothing so bad as Wal Mart. But I can’t stand the idea that Americans are working hard just so that these Euroislamists, who do not lift a finger to defend our freedom, can enjoy cheap high quality American products.

  25. Tessa September 27th, 2006 6:54 pm

    Sam,
I do not support your belief that suing Wal-Mart is, in any way, like taking money from the poor. It really does not take much attention to detail to realize that my car had a 6 cyliner engine and that it required the proper oil filter. It completely ruined my car. Cars are not expendable items, especially for students that have to commute from one city to another to get to school and work. Had I not persued legal action after being blown off by the store manager when I was stranded on the side of the road, I would have then been in a pretty poor financial situation myself. A full-time student that barely makes enough to pay rent and bills and buy ramen cannot just buy another car. Wal-Mart is a huge corporation, and like any business, will have to compensate for their mistakes.

But that’s just the thing with you Europeans. You don’t know how it feels when your cities are bombed to ashes by Islamofascist. You just don’t know how war feels like. That’s why you still live in your dream world and let us Americans do the hard work. Shame on you!

I don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t think you deserve that nor do I expect you to be grateful.

Well, how many terroristic strikes were there in Germany since 9/11? 0! And in the years before 0! The last terrorist attack I remember were the RAF (Red Army Faction) during the cold war. And we handled tose guys by ourselves. So you actually haven?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t done anything to protect Germany from terrorism, at least there?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s no sign of any result. Your war in Iraq only makes matters worse. We can sure watch out for ourselves, except if some morons start a war in Middle East, angering every muslim worldwide and thus make them believe that only a dead white ma is a good white man.

But that?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s just the thing with you Europeans. You don?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t know how it feels when your cities are bombed to ashes by Islamofascist. They have bombed one of your cities? When? They just destroyed two buildings. Yes, it was a crime and a tragedy, but for those 3000 dead you already killed several hunderdthousand, most of them innocent civilians. And your country (as mine!) has suffered worse days, so don?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t bragg about it like a pansy, whining children. It has to stop before it totally get?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s out of control.

We don?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t know how war feels like? How many battles we?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•re fought on the american continent during the world wars? None? Well, we in Europe for sure had some action, you know? And if we wanted the hard work to be done, we would have done it ourselves. American soldiers can?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t be trusted to succed in the real hard work. That we learned in the Cold War and it?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s still true. But we just want peace. That?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s why Germany sends over 1000 troops and 16 warships to Lebanon. To keep the peace, not to invade and take over other countries like you do. Committing aggressive wars doesn?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t make it better, it just encourages the terrorists to get even more aggressive and it makes the locals to support them.

  30. Jack October 8th, 2006 12:00 am

    Sam,

First of all, Jesus WAS poor, and he was against human suffering. Wal-Mart makes its millions by exploiting everyone from the manufacturers to the customers. Jesus Christ would not shop in a place that pays its workers so poorly that they can’t even afford to buy the very items they sell to other poor people who are forced to shop there since they can’t afford to go anywhere else.(Wal-Mart kills the competition and forces them out.)

Do you know that Wal-Mart employees are taught how to fill out welfare paperwork upon being hired? Should working people have to be on welfare in order to feed their families? What many pro-Wal-Mart folks fail to consider is WHY Wal-Mart can offer such low prices. It’s easy enough to say they provide employment for so many people that they must be a good thing, but we must consider why. Wal-Mart does everything it can to get around giving workers benefits . . . they use a lot of part time people (and self-service check out lanes) so that they can do this and are currently trying to boost the percentage of their part-time work force up to 40%. So who pays when workers get injured or ill? Tax-payers. Tax payers foot the bill for the health care of Wal-Mart employees.

Too many people today are uncritical in their thinking. That is perhaps one of the worst things going on in this country. Turning every issue into Republican v. Democrat, Conservative v. Liberal, Religious v. “Godless” is a huge mistake. All that it does is add fuel to the fire of emotions and spread division, rhetoric, and ignorance. Yes, ignorance. Everyone here has no excuse not to get the facts. You all have a computer. Find out what Wal-Mart is doing and use your reasoning skills to decipher whether the low costs are worth the huge human costs. If you believe in God, you believe in unity. You believe in humanity. You believe in doing everything humanly possible to curb or end suffering. The purpose of religion is not to force your beliefs on others, purport to be better than others, and then conduct yourselves in such a way that one wonders if you have any concept of Jesus Christ, of humanity, of compassion, or of love. Neither religion nor political affiliation is an excuse for blind ignorance. The facts are out there. Find them. That goes for Wal-Mart specifically, but can be extended to just about everything else. Look for ideas that are antithetical to your own so that you are at least exposed to something other than your tiny, limited world view.

As a fellow Christian, I am genuinely embarrassed of what I read here. Perhaps the most laughable was the idea of Jesus Christ as a Wal-Mart shopper. Jesus Christ would tear down Wal-Marts across the world with his bare hands. Jesus would also rid the world of Mr. Bush–the “Decider” whose people knew about 9/11 and allowed it to happen so that we could be free to go off and start another war. He is the #1 terrorist in the world and I can’t believe that you people are still buying his lines. He doesn’t have God in his soul. He doesn’t know thing one about being a servant of the Lord. I honestly do not know what has happened in the past few decades that has turned those of us who are religious into a bunch of hypocritical, hate-filled, ignorant individualists, but I don’t like it one bit. How have we got to the point that many believe God cares more about the US than any other country? How have we got to the point that our religious convictions allow us to hate people who are different than us so easily? Aren’t these the very things that we ask about Islamic and other religious extremists? Can we even differentiate ourselves from them anymore? These are some questions that gnaw at me. Does anyone here have any ideas?

    In Solidarity,
    Jack
