Columbus sailed the ocean blue
American public schools teach this false version of the discovery of America to our impressionable young people while those of us who know better sit back and allow the poison to slowly destroy this once great and proud country.? The simple fact of the matter is that Columbus did NOT discover America.? God, the Lord and Savior of us all, guided Columbus to the shores of America to create an outpost for mankind to spread the Word of God?s glorious Love and salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, to the rest of the world.? Instead, we have gone against the wishes of the Creator and allowed Satan to divert us from America?s true calling.? We at Shelley The Republican dot com, therefore, call upon Congress to pass legislation to change the name of Columbus Day to the name this day should have had all along. ? ?God Day?.

Yep, Columbus wasn?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t the first in America. First were the Indians, then the Vikings then Columbus. And that he was guided by some invisible force you call god (there?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s still no proof of his existence and you weren?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t able to deliver one by now.) is nowhere stated nor proved. So it was Colmbus alone. Albeit, if we look at what he has caused with it?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s discovery, it would have been better for the whole world if he would have just turned around when he was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
And calling something God Day would violate the principle that states that the USA are a secularist country. And we don?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t want to act against the constitution and the founding fathers, do we?

Yes, “God Day” is absurd, as it is unconstitutional. I know STR.com begs to differ on that one, but really, that First Amendment prohibits the federal legislature from making laws that establish a state religion or religious preference.
Changing the name of a holiday to represent a religious diety would be just one step closer to the dictatorship our president would love to acheive, and another step away from what America was supposed to be about, the right to choose…
