(No Uphill) Gardening Guy
Today I want to salute two of this great nation’s American Christians.
On October 18 Todd Farber and his beautiful wife Sabrina made a stand. A stand for Our LORD Jesus Christ and a stand against offending his name and teaching. They said no to carnal acts of anal entry.
This is what happened: A ‘man’ called the Farber’s company - the delightfully titled “Garden Guy” organization - to try to solicit their services to clean up his yard. Mid-way through the conversation it became clear that the man calling was in fact a member of the gays. The horrified Mrs Farber slammed down the phone and sent the following email, a lesson in the true nature of Christianity, which should make every person of faith think very hard indeed:
Dear Mr. —–,
I am appreciative of your time on the phone today and glad you contacted us. I need to tell you that we cannot meet with you because we choose not to work for homosexuals.
Best of luck in finding someone else to fill your landscaping needs.

The Garden Guy really is a true believer! On the website where he advertises his wares he also advocates Christ! Christian readers will be pleased to note the following quote from the Bible about the importance of stopping female wives getting uppity:
?Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any blemish, but holy and blameless… each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”

(OK, so it isn’t the King James Bible, but sometimes we Christians have to accept that the world isn’t perfect. Not until the End Times come, anyway.)

Incredibly, however, some liberal fags have decided to be upset at the Garden Guy’s stance ? even though it’s born of Christian charity and the hope of saving souls! They have squeeled to all their friends about how terrible they think he is on disgusting forums like the infamous gay hangout www.datalounge.com. Following on from this, they have encouraged each other to send Garden Guy disgusting emails and filled the forums on his website with foul hate about the beliefs that he holds dear to his heart.
That’s right, Christians are being persecuted, stigmatized and discriminated against just because of the beliefs they hold. (Beliefs, let’s not forget, which The Bible itself tells us to have!)
Most of the comments are too disgusting to post here - and there are all kinds of baffling references to Mr Ferber’s root that I just didn?t understand. However, you can get an impression of the general tone from this email here, which just drips with hate and insult:

Fortunately, a few anti-bigot Christians have started posting messages of support for the Garden Guy ? and of righteous anger against the hate messages of those disgusting shrill voiced fags who like nothing better than to cover themselves in perfume, mince around in high heels and who only stop whining when someone sticks a pen*** into their face (which they enjoy! Crazy!)
Here’s what one loving Christian said:
“You know, I see all this hate coming from the homosexual posts, not the Garden Guys. I would say the was kind of strange, but it’s not; they have had nothing but hate for heterosexuals. If we “straights” don’t accept them, well then, you have to boycot or sue. It is really rather pathetic and intolerant; quite hypocritical as well.
If “straights” do not want to associate with you, tough. Quit your whining and find another landscaper.”
How different that is from the hypocrisy of those Godless liberals? Thank Jesus Christ in heaven that someone is able to wield the sharp sword of truth in these dark days (rather than the throbbing hard male member of debauched lust)!

Ms. DePue,
I recently read the story about the Garden Guy landscapers in Houston who refused to violate their religious beliefs and knowingly do work for a homosexual couple. While you and your organization may find this distasteful, it remains well within the Farber’s rights, both religiously and Constitutionally to discriminate against such couples. I found your organization’s rush to judgement and the resulting non-discrimination policy to be equally offensive. If you consider all of the ballot initiatives in last week’s elections, in every state where homosexual marriage was put to the ballot it was defeated by huge margins. Clearly, the vast number of Americans believe the homosexual marriage and homosexual relationships are not the kinds of relationships or activities that should be legitimized and they voted in large numbers to codify laws to discriminate against them. All of this legislation is in response to the homosexual community and their demand to force the normalization of an activity that the majority clearly sees for a variety of reasons as abnormal and deviant. Remember the difference between a pedophile and a homosexual is one day in the age of the victim.
Congressman Mark Foley’s solicitation of sex with Congressional pages would be seen as OK with may homosexual groups and their supporters. Look at the Catholic Church and what happens when homosexual priests prey on the children of believers. Where does your organization stand with regards to homosexual scout leaders…do you demand that homosexual scout leaders take young boys camping as long as they are not your children? What about lesbian scout leaders…how do you feel about your daughters spending a weekend alone in the woods with someone with that sexual orientation, or do you discriminate when it come to your own kids? It’s easy to say that you support homosexuals, but do you walk the talk when it comes to those who are vulnerable? It seems to me that your California members are having far too much influence on your organization and that your new policy would be rejected by a majority of Americans if given the opportunity to vote as they did in last week’s elections.
The MSNBC / Associated Press article where I discovered this issue also included a poll. Even with the relatively liberal MSNBC audience, their readers by a 2 to 1 margin indicated that businesses should have the right to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation. Hey that’s the free market at work. I no longer shop at Wal-Mart or Target due to their support of the homosexual agenda. I no longer would consider purchasing a Ford motor vehicle or fly Delta Air Lines, because I know that they offer homosexual couples insurance benefits. Again that’s the free market at work. Now that I know that your organization supports the normalization of homosexual relationships and would chastise a former APLD member and suggest to current members that their membership is in jeopardy if they were to discriminate against a client based upon sexual orientation, I feel compelled to boycott your organization, just like I do Wal-Mart and Target.
Each of us discriminates everyday, it’s a part of human nature. None of your members married the very first person they ever dated, nor did they buy the first house they visited or the first car they tested. Some choose red peppers and some prefer green…you get my point. Everyone discriminates based upon their own personal preferences and that neither makes discrimination good or bad…thank God we live in a country where we have choice. Your non-discrimination policy is not a good idea. If I lived in the Houston area I would hire the Farber’s just because they have the courage to stand up for what they believe, even if it cost them the job in question or future jobs. How many of you would take such risk and be willing to live with the consequences?
In this past election cycle a man running for Congress in North Carolina told the media that the night before this particular interview he was at a honors council for a young man who had earned the rank of Eagle Scout. The young man was his nephew and it seems that he was there representing his sister. You see, when his sister became pregnant it was discovered that she had stomach cancer. She was told by her doctors that she had to make a choice, abort the baby and fight the cancer or deliver the baby…she couldn’t do both. She chose to deliver the baby and died a month later. Some people have the ability to put into practice what they believe regardless of the outcome or the consequences of their decisions. I doubt that many individuals on your leadership council would have the faith to follow this woman’s convictions or that of the Farbers. I see your rush to enact a non-discrimination policy as a “politically correct” organizational action, but one that is as toothless and transparent as water.
Roses for the Garden Guy and raspberries for APLD. I can assure you that I will never use one of your members and I will encourage as many people as possible to boycott your members and your organization as well.
