Briefly Patriotic - The “J” Ain’t For “Job”

Oh, my goodness, the world?s gonna come to an end because a big, bad conservative is picking on a little cripple guy. “Y?all are just heartless hypocrites saying that you believe in Jesus while at the same time you?re kicking a leper.” Before you start feeling too badly for Mr. Michael J. Fox just stop for a minute and think about how much selfish arrogance it takes for a man to kill defenseless pre-borns just to cure his disease. Who?s the big one picking on the little one now? How many innocent, blameless almost-humans have to die so that Alex from Family Ties can stop shaking and tour his one man show of Eugene V. Debs? In the Book of Job, Job takes what God gave him and does the best he can. He didn?t run off and do a TV commercial to get himself fixed.

I agree, good thinking!
A grown man should not advocate to kill thousands of babies in order to save himself. That is shameful!
And one other thing: Why what that Mr. Fox guy moving the whole time. Could not even sit still during his own TV commercial. Not even that much respect he has. Making fun, havin’ the time of his life. I don’t know what this is all about. He is a moron, nothing else!
Shelley The Republican
Mmmmmmmmmm Jell-o
But still you apreciate it when your Airforce is bombing innocent children. Hypocrisy.
PS: What about the Unit, Sam? Were are the cowards?
The German Guy
IMPEACH BUSH!
Yeah,
hypocrisy….um you mean like when Limbaugh was hating on people with an addiction to illegal narcotics while he was popping oxycondone; w/o a prescription if i recall correctly.
Oxycodone is in a class of drugs called narcotic analgesics. It is a pain reliever.
I can understand the addiction part, some people form addictions without realizing it. I can’t understand the hypocrisy though.
Parkinson’s disease (also known as Parkinson disease or PD) is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that affects the control of muscles, and so may affect movement, speech and posture. Parkinson’s disease belongs to a group of conditions called movement disorders. It is often characterized by muscle rigidity, tremor, a slowing of physical movement (bradykinesia), and in extreme cases, a loss of physical movement (akinesia). The primary symptoms are the results of excessive muscle contraction, normally caused by the insufficient formation and action of dopamine, which is produced in the dopaminergic neurons of the brain. Secondary symptoms may include high level cognitive dysfunction and subtle language problems. PD is both chronic, meaning it persists over a long period of time, and progressive.
In recent years, a number of specific genetic mutations causing Parkinson’s disease have been discovered, including in certain populations (Contursi). These account for a small minority of cases of Parkinson’s disease. Somebody who has Parkinson’s disease is more likely to have relatives that also have Parkinson’s disease. However, this does not mean that the disorder has been passed on genetically.(wikipedia,2006)
Ironically, its caused by a genetic mutation, meaning: the longer you live, the more likely you are to get it, by virtue of not only murphys’ law, but also biological facts. its simple. DNA produces a single strand version of itself known as RNA which is broken down into proteins(amino acids), those proteins are a series of 3 nucleotides (the letters in dna) , however mutations often happen, and unlike cancer a single RNA mutation can have detrimental effects based on the type of mutation.
For shame to the people who are picking on afflicted individuals, anyone can get it and heredity increases the chance. I agree with the idea of stem cell ressearch based on what i know of it.

@Dr. McLuckypants
Great text, really, but unluckily Shelley and co don’t believe in DNA and science.
P.S.
Its those RNA strands that get mutated…can you fathom how many times a second a person ‘risks’ a mutation?
S.McL. M.D.
PD Can also happen to people who sustain physical abuse over a long period of time mostly from sports and WAR (Football, boxing ect).
Not all stem cell research involves aborted unborn children.
In the spirit of Rush Limbaugh: You, Shelley, are a democrat pretending to be a Republican.
And you too
1) Stem cells are in umbilical cords & adult bone marrow so stem cell research doesn’t have to involve the unborn. 2) Rush is a drug addicted neo-con man spewing Rockefeller Republican propaganda! 3) Medical science didn’t exist in Job’s day so are you suggesting we should abandon modern medicine entirely & suffer on the way to an early grave?
It isn’t just HIS disease, it’s a disease of many, many people on the planet, m’am. And stem cell research could lead to more productive research to cure many of the world’s diseases. It could possibly extend even your life.
Why you’re concerned about useless protoplasm that’s going to go down the drain anyway is beyond me. The only lives on the planet you care about are those of white republicans.
…or Mark Foley running his child protection sub-committee while soliciting minors.
…or Tom Delay recently saying on Fox News that the division in this country between Right and Left was a bad thing (after having helped drive that wedge in a HUGE way for years)
