Briefly Patriotic - God’s Mad
It?s Friday, the end of work week and the start of the time where we can think about Jesus for as long as we want without the interruption of the secular world.? Usually, I like to keep things on the more humorous side on Fridays but given the gravity of the news I have received I am unable to do that.? Pastor Rick Wade of Probe Ministries received a prophetic vision from God a few days ago in which God told him that the physical destruction of the United States of America would begin this weekend, starting with earthquakes and tsunamis in California, Florida and St. Louis and continuing with E. coli breakouts, bird flu pandemic and acts of unspeakable terror throughout our nation until America is reduced to a third world country.? God told Pastor Wade that he might go easier on us if we, as a nation, would beg his forgiveness.? We at Shelley the Republican think the best way to do this is to vote Republican in the upcoming election.

I’m pretty sure god is only doing it because those godless demo-cracks and nutty liberals are trying to get there way, god is showing them with this, that they won’t, and that Republicans stand a better chance.

@Ithilion, I think it has to do with the fact that America is bashed in Europe and the French - specifically Parisians - are the paragon of what is seen as “European Elitism”.
As you’ll see from my other posts here, I’m not exactly a conservative in many areas, however the America bashing abroad is deeply troublesome to me - and it’s not like it just started when Bush got elected. This has been going on for years and it fuels animosity between our countries.
From what I’ve seen, the France-bashing here on ShelleyTheRepublican.com is not significantly higher than the America-bashing I read on other sites frequented by Europeans. Americans are rude cowboys with little appreciation for history or different cultures, right? I don’t think I fit that description, but it’s the one I see applied to me as an American by those in European circles.
aaah… yeah, you may not fit the description, unfortunately though, most americans i ran across (and we are talking 3-digit number here) come closer to the StR bunch than humanity can withstand …and most europeans seem to have similar experiences

If we want to save America from the wrath of God, we need to do the following:
1) Anal sex, oral sex, sex outside marriage, masturbation (whether heterosexual or homosexual), and distribution of porn must be illegalized and those who commit these disgusting crimes must be burned at stake.
2) Democracy should be abolished and a theocratic Christian government must be found.
3) Inquisition must be re-established to deal with athiests, democ-rats, godless scientists, lie-berals and heretics.
4) Any religion or religious view other than Christianity must be outlawed and those who follow them must be killed on spot.
5) The teaching of evolution must be outlawed and Creationism must be taught in public schools.
6) Christians who dont attend the church at least once a week must be put to concentration camps and cured.
If we do all of the above America will be saved!

Now as a french, and as a nearly parisian (I live near Paris), I must say that I am not offended, because I know that parisians are, in fact, nice and decent people. In fact, most people in the world are nice and decent, in my studies I met people from various countries and I travelled a lot a few years ago, and I never had any problem with foreigners, EXCEPT in the US of A, where some people made fun of me because they thought I was canadian.

But you are right of course. The only way to beg God’s forgiveness is to vote Republican. Not because God is political but because of the simple fact that Republcians stand for everything that is good and decent in America: Family values, hard work, honstly, fair play! And the Democ-Rats stand for everything American should not be: Porn, hate, moral decay.

You did not address the long list of “good” and “decent” republicans posted above. Should we have voted for those people simply because they’re republican? I hope your answer is “no”.
Voting for Republicans because they’re Republican is as shortsighted and harmful as voting for Democrats because they’re Democrats. We need to be voting for the people with integrity whom we feel will do the best job. Integrity is not a trait reserved for one party or the other, and neither is human weakness.
Barack Obama and John McCain are examples of senators that I feel have a high degree of integrity who have the country’s best interests in mind. They are skilled communicators and both care deeply about making this country a better place for all Americans - Christians, Jews, Muslims, agnostics, and atheists alike.
Maybe god is also sending out the Message we should start Nuking the Middle East befer they are nuking us! I bet that’s it, god is making the Earthquake as if the Middle East is bombing us, we need to Nuke Iran!

I am not a “her” as you say, and I didn’t post anything obscene. The only thing that was obscene is your implication that I have anyting in common with a man who’s bar of soap is probably the safest place to hide money since nobody in the universe will ever pick it up and use it.
Tristan if you could figure out the reason for that then the world would be a better place. I think it’s got something to do with the fact that most liberals are products of broken homes and addictions. They feel like they can help their parents get back together again by spending a lot of money on sex change operations for drug addicted illegal aliens. That’s just my theory, though.

If we want to save America from the wrath of God, we need to do the following:
(1) Educate people in the English language and spelling to avoid ignorance and misunderstandings in communication. (illegalized? athiests? democ-rats? lie-berals?)
(2) Fanaticism should be treated with incarceration while assuming ignorance and brainwashing. Tolerance should be taught. Arrogance should be eliminated.
(3) Lastly: stupid people should not be allowed to breed.
There are %10 kinds of tolerance:
%01) The tolerance where I don’t beat the s**t out of you for inflicting your sexual perversion upon me
%10) The tolerance where everyone caters to your every whim and redefines things like sex and marriage to legally encourage your sexual perversion
I’m only willing to do the first, and if you try to push the second I’m going to change my mind about the first.

I’m still waiting for an answer - should we have voted for ALL those republicans listed in that long above? And by all, I mean ALL? That seems to be what you’re endorsing, yet “I’ll be voting…” seemed to come up with 30 or 40 reasons why that’s not such a good idea.

I learned how the left to right political scale from listening to the late William Cooper’s radio program “The Hour of the Time” http://www.hourofthetime.com The scale runs as follows: Left= Communism,Marxism,National Socialism,fascism,Democrat,Republican(socialism & social control). Right= Libertarian Party,Constitutionalism,Paleo-Conservatism,Anarcho-Capitalism.(no socialism, limited or no social control) This is basically a thumbnail sketch as there are various divisions in some of these political philosophies. I think Barry Goldwater was right when he said “Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.” but extremism in the destruction of liberty is evil! The Bush regime & their fanatical followers stand for the latter!

The Libertarian Party & small “l” libertarians are sometimes referred to as Classical liberals. Classical liberals stood for limited government, non-interventionism & laissez-faire(leave us alone) capitalism. Paleo-Conservatives, also called “The Old Right” thought along similar lines. Today’s “mainstream” Democrats & Republicans differ only on how big to grow government, how to police the world & how much socialism to have to benefit whom!
My previous point was how classical liberalism & the Old Right conservatism mean the opposite of what modern liberalism & The New Right neo-conservatism mean!
