Stem Cells: Can they really cure you?
Liberal scientists claim that stem cells might one day cure all manner of diseases, however the latest scientific discoveries indicate that stem-cells are actually the cause of the deadliest disease: Cancer.
Would you really allow a doctor to try to cure you with a stem-cell which was once a pre-born infant and might make you worse. Cancer is God’s way of saying “Do not meddle with MY stem cells”.
An unborn infant. Why is it that liberals think she should have less rights than you or me? Cancer is god’s revenge on people who murder his children in order to heal themselves. The only reliable cure for cancer is prayer.
And the worst part of it must be, if you accept the dead-baby-parts into your body, after you die of the cancer it gives you, you go straight to hell and burn for eternity.
Liberalism just isn’t the practical option!

As usual you’re talking about thing you don’t even start to understand taking stupid shortcuts to bring us false ideas about very complex systems.
In the whole part your body IS possibly a cancer: it is due to cells that “forget” to die. Stem-cells are the first bricks of everything making a body. From your brain to stomach, fingers, skin & else.
it looks like your brain and heart are still at stem state.
Ghalaad is of course right. Try to understand things, or if you cannot, don’t bother the world with your fatuous comments. A stem-cell is not a ‘pre-born’ infant. Please remember not to accept any further medical treatment, surely god will cure you as you are his chosen, and you cannot risk any conflict with your ‘faith’.
Gosh … I m glad only a minority of scientists are as stupid as you are. Maybe my diabete will be cure once day … with stem cells.
Rememeber penicillin. In fact it is only dirt mould. But it can cure deadly infections. If something is disgusting it doesnt mean it wont help. There are more disgusting ways of cure in medicine. Transplantations(human-to-human, animal-to-human), transfusions, drug productions(bacterial cultures, vacctination is only contagion with weak version of disease…). And ways which leadt to medical invention..(deadly experiements on humans, atoupsies).
In comparation to this.. stem cells breeded from ovum in laboratory is quite clean way.
Killing preborn is bad.. but it is too far from using stem cells. It worth for saving humans lifes.

Stem cells are in umbilical cords,which can be obtained after a child is born & therefore the unborn aren’t used for said stem cells! The ONLY reliable cure for cancer is prayer? What about nutritional supplements,herbal cleansings or alternative therapies?
I always knew that stem cells were the work of the Devil and you have just confirmed it for me. It is no wonder our party and our great Christian president is against them. Of course all the liberals like John Kerry and Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy are trying to make them look like the greatest things since free abortions and pornographic sex education in our grade schools. To be precise. There are two types of stem cells. Adult and embriotic. Adult stem cells are “harvested” from patients..just like blood or bone marrow. They are also contained in umbilical cords.
Second group are embriotic stem cells. This group can be obtained by destructing human embrio. And it connects ethical problems.
What is incorrect in Tristan’s article is that he throw all stem cells on one heap and said that they are evil. So some uninformed reader may refuse cure with adult stem cells in future. Although it is not connected with destruction of possible human life. I hope that doctors will have enought time and patience to explain it to the patient.
So you, Tristran, can cause someones unnecesary death by spreading confusing information. What would your God say about it?

there is nothing bad about stem cells. They are part of your body. They are necessary for our lives, like blood. Problematic is only way how to retrieve enought of them to cure big group of diseases.
I hope, that after they are studied well there would be the way how to produce them artificialy(for example hormones are breed in animal, pigs for example). Your country has great potential to speed up this process. But i understand that you dont want to smear your hands with killing embryos. (Killing adults in war on foreing country is enought. But it is for another discussion.)
So if it is possible someone else will find the solution. And then share research outcomes with you(mean country). But if your country bans cure with stem cells completely, rich Americans(usually republicans) will travell to Europe(for example) to undergo the cure here.

The word ’science’ means ‘knowledge’ - I can understand that being repugnant to the smug fundamentalist christians among you.
Incidentally, slightly off topic, did you know that the ridiculous putative age of the earth that Shelley et al believe was decided by one Archbishop Ussher in 1650 - you would think that, with the subsequent increase in knowledge, this figure might be revised a little, wouldn’t you?

Cancer happens when cells mutate or get the wrong idea. Stem cell research will help find a cure for it - the vague idea is pretty simple.
The more research they do, the less damage the embryo sustains. Within the next decade, stem cells will be produced without damaging a thing.
Does the whole thing not excite you?! A cure to cancer, aids, Parkinson?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s, hundreds of diseases destroyed and millions of lives saved! How can you be opposed to it?!

Hmmm Then I wonder how a good friend of mine was treated with stem cells for Myeloma…a particularly nasty cancer. Let’s see…they harvested his own adult stem cells…then they nuked his bone marrow…and let me think…oh yeah they regrew it all with his own STEM CELLS! Get this…he is in remission! His counts are all pretty much normal, and now a couple years after he was told by the first doctor that he had months to live he is back to almost all his normal activities and his new doc says because of this treatment he will probably not make it to being about 70..but then again we are talking about a 50 year old smoker who’s entire family has had some type of cancer. Giving him 20 more years…thats impressive for something you claim is the root of all cancer. Hell even for fundies like you I would think that would be a dream treatment since many fundies have beliefs against organ translants.
I just don’t have much to say right now, but I guess it doesn’t bother me. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. Nothing notable happening these days. Shrug. Not that it matters. My mind is like a void. I’ve basically been doing nothing , not that it matters. More or less nothing going on. I guess it doesn’t bother me. Not much on my mind.
