Natural Selection or un-natural deception?

if Darwin’s “natural selection” were the driving force of life (which of course it isn’t) you could not morally encourage another person to keep on living after a set-back. We could not love our families above all things, and we could not care for our elderly and sick. It would be impossible to have any kind of morality, kindness and generosity. Compassion would be impossibe. The implications are anarchy and hedonism, war and spiritual death.

The simple fact is that there is no such thing as “natural selection” and “survival of the fittest”. Only God decides who lives or dies, and his criteria is simple: The law of the Bible.
Fortunately we live in a divinely ordered world, and one in which the neo-darwinist’s lunatic fantasies are blatantly false. One need only look at the world to see that it has been blessed by Jesus, and those who pray and give their money to conservative chartities will continue to be blessed. But it seems that some so-called “scientists” still cling on to their darwinistic dogmas long after their cherished theories have been rejected by the majority of Americans.
Consider this very typical article from the “Google Group” called talk.origins. I promise you we did not make this up, however one glance at “talk.origins” will show that this is only the tip of the iceberg of lunacy. When atheists resort to such desperate arguments can we be in any doubt that they know their theories are as dead as Mr Darwin?

What nonsense! Is this what passes for evidence amongst scientists? Why do most scientists put such faith in this kind of “evidence”? Next time you see somebody who claims to believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution remind them that their theories are the product of madness wheras the FACTS of Intelligent Design are based on the eternal words of God and his greatest gift to mankind: The Holy Bible.

i’m fascinated with the conservative christian views on this subject of evolution/ID in general, so please elaborate on the actual passages in the Bible which describe it. please also note that this post is not intended to mock you or your beliefs, but rather to express my honest curiosity.
my personal belief on the matter is that the concept of evolution is a much more powerful tool than ID: that is to say, if God were to implement a method of species origin, wouldn’t he use something that is so complex and fascinating that we as humans can barely understand it? would that not be a greater attestment to his power? i guess that would be my feelings towards the universe in general: its amazing level of complication and our constant struggle to understand it would infact be our struggle to understand God.
Tristan, this is not a fact, it is a belief. There is quite a difference between the two. Facts start out as propositions and they and supporting evidence is sifted and peer-reviewed until agreement is reached. You prefer to believe stories of doubtful origin, written and rewritten, translated and retranslated…that is your privilege, but I know where my vote goes.

There, of course, are homosexual animals… never heard specifically of a cheetah, but who knows.

Once in a few centuries, a genius like Darwin, Einstein and the like is born to see beyond the darknes of our fears. They create a light beacon for a while. However this is dangerous to the ones used to see the darknes. Now they fear the new light as they feared the darknes. Misunderstanding and hate come to their rescue and they try to recover the darknes. It is fearsome as always, but it is a fear they are used to. “True Christians” like those running STR are the same kind of people. They do not understand what is writen in the Bible or the great message given to us by Jesus Christ. The result is, they worship paper and writen letters insted of the true God that created them. Ruled by their primal fears they hug the darknes out there and are glad there is a boundary confirming their way of life never having the will and power to escape from their fears as that would ruin their world view, definition and beliefs.
