Good evening. I’m an Italian guy, From Padua, near Venice. I don’t wanna post a comment on this particular topic. I’ve just taken a look around in your website. And I just puked. I think your way of doing politics and of talking aboute such important and delicate subjects is at least horrible, and I say dangerous. Forgive me for my bad english, but it’s not so easy to write for me.

Jesus is not reason for the season. As already said elsewhere, there was Yule celebrated at the same time long before Jesus. Only the early Church decided that it’ll help the heathens converting to Christianity if they put the birth of Jesus at the same time as the major pagan celebration.
Elendil, your ignorance of the Christ prophecy saddens me. Ancient peoples celebrated the coming of Christ, they celebrated this through the solstice (the longest night of the year) and through mythical heroes. Then God blessed us with our LORD Jesus and as C.S. Lewis put it, “Myth became fact.” Christ was delivered to us in literally our darkest hour to bring us hope and salvation, to deliver us the Truth.
Pagans became Christians in celebration of this Truth. The pagans, like all people knew that the LORD was coming, they celebrated and prepared for this fact. To go back to those traditions would be like asking the LORD for a new soul. You have already been given the greatest gift, be thankful and celebrate, don’t go back to asking for another. This disregard for the blessings you have received will surely see your soul burning for eternity in hell with all the others who have rejected our LORD because this Christian society has made life so comfortable that they have forgotten what to be thankful for.

Oh Jessica… women who work place undue strain on the economy and help terrorists win. By creating a requirement for more jobs, the debase the quality of the overall american labor force, crippling our ability to compete in a global market since organizations need to carry all the dead weight that is the female worker.
And thin about it, where do most women work? In food service, education, or childcare. All three positions only exist because women are not at their rightful place, home teaching and caring for the children and making an effort to be a decent cook. How circular a solution.
Homosexuality does not harm me on a personal level directly, however the long term consequences of homosexuality it the destruction of this great nation as punishement from God. Look at New Orleans and 9/11, and look at the gays that have snuck into our glorious fighting forces, responsible for all those American casualities. Therefor it is important for me to warn people of the dangers of homosexuality. Why is this bad, I am just trying to help my brethren.

You ask how I know The Bible is real… how do you know anything is real? The entire world around you, to you, merely exists as a series of nerve impulses, all of which are impacted and weighted by your own physiology and experiences. Your perspective. How do you know a computer is in ront of you? Because your sense send information to your brain, which processes that information with your memory to tell you “Hey, that’s a computer!” If you are blindfolded or on hallucenagenic substances does that mean the computer is no longer visable or more brightly colored than before? Of course it, it is what it is, your perception has been changed. The Bible is what it is, once you are able to remove your blindfold to the Truth, you will see it for what it is as well.
Actually I have read “Spook,” and I did not find it particularly compelling. The book gave more effort to poking fun than really addressing any tough questions. I found it considerably less compelling than “The Physics of Immortality” by Dr. Frank J. Tipler (a well known quantum cosmologist), which because you did me the favor, I’ll assume you have not read. And far less compelling than Einstein’s theory of relativity, that matter an energy can never be created or destroyed, only converted into each other.
