Time for common-sense in corporate regulation

Friends,

What is the most discriminated against group in American culture today? If you guessed “African Americans” or “Hispanics” you would be dead wrong. Perhaps you guessed “conservatives”, and while we do suffer a great deal of abuse at the hands of the liberal minority who have seized control of our culture - god has given us conservatives the strength to overcome all difficulties. No, the answer to this question is American Business: There is no segment of society that is more repressed today than our corporations.

Who are the enemies of the corporations that produce our wealth? Communistic and atheistic organistions called unions. They hate America and they do not want you to be wealthy and free.

There once was a time, we might call it a “golden age” of free enterprise when inspirational entrepreneurs were free to set up businesses without fear of regulation and red-tape. Those were America’s greatest days, and we owe it to those great men who built America; the leaders who made America strong. And then from nowhere President Roosevelt, the closest thing we have ever had to a communist leader trashed everything. He instituted a “minimum wage”, and took away everybody’s freedom to earn what they deserve. He invented “social security” and “benefits”, and took away people’s desire to work. But is that enough for the Democrats who will not rest until America is once-again in the grip of communism?

Enron, one of many victims of a liberal anti-corporate conspiracy. Why are liberals unable to let great corporations like Enron get on with the business of making money? All liberals want is bigger government to take away your freedom!

Not a chance: The liberals invented something called the “Sarbanes Oxley Act”, a law that requires all businesses to hopelessly entangle themselves in bureaucracy (a french word) and yet more red tape. Liberals claim that the “Sarbanes Oxley Act” will help keep companies acting within the law, however we conservatives know that it will force American companies into bankruptcy.

“People get to make good decisions or bad decisions. And they get to pay the consequences or to enjoy the fruits of their decisions. That’s the way the system works. Companies come and go. It’s part of the genius of capitalism.” - Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill

We at STR.com agree with the treasury secretary. So what if people lost money from Enron and other companies: Big boo-hoo, thats just the way capitolism works. Those people lost money because they lacked faith in Jesus. Had they been pure of heart, God would have protected them. That is the first law of finance!

It’s time to return to a common-sense approach to corporate regulation. The liberal heavy-handed approach has gone way too far, and we Americans are suffering. Fortunately the Republican party is helping to dismantle the problems caused by previous governments.Roosevelt’s communism is dead, and soon we will have got rid of his deadly legacy.

Yours in Christ,

Tristan J. Shuddery

Yes, that is self-evident. We should also blame the Communist chineese.

    the liberal minority

*sigh* When they?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•re a minority, then how have they won the election?

He instituted a ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?minimum wage?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?, and took away everybody?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s freedom to earn what they deserve.

You mean the freedom of getting the same wages as in a chinese sweat shop?

    bureaucracy (a french word)

    English. Period.

Enron, one of many victims of a liberal anti-corporate conspiracy. Why are liberals unable to let great corporations like Enron get on with the business of making money? All liberals want is bigger government to take away your freedom!

Perhaps because Mr. Lay stole some millions of dollars from his actioneers?

Sorry, but Jesus won?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t help you if you get tricked by weasels like Lay. HE doesn?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•t interfere with mundane things like that.

When? WIth the next president (who happens to be a democrat)?

PS: Blame yourself first. It?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s your economy. IF we and the chinese are better, then it?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s your fault.

so it’s normal if a huge compagny use young child in foreign country whom are paid less than 1$ ? that’s what you call freedom?
and when a CEO make a mistake,He can just a go with a lot of money , and let the working class die alone… that’s what you call freedom? “share the bread”, isn’t that reminding you something?

  5. Marc December 26th, 2006 7:24 am

    …He instituted a ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?minimum wage?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?…
If you don’t like it, I guess you would like to work all day long and still not be able to buy enough food and pay your home?

    …bureaucracy (a french word)…
Never mind.. It’s actually no miracle, considering English has about 40% of the vocabulary from the French language! (Source: Mary Elizabeth Podhaizer, M.ED : Painless Spelling, ISBN0764105671) Oh, and by the way: English is a germanic language :)

Those people lost money because they lacked faith in Jesus. Had they been pure of heart, God would have protected them. That is the first law of finance!
They had a stupid CEO, which has nothing to do with any God whatsoever..
p.s. God is the law, that’s exactly what Osama is convinced of, too.

Provided you stick to that attitude, I really hope you’ll lose your job; maybe you would be able to realize to pros of this ?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?social security?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ?-thing..

But: I agree, SOX sucks.. If you have to do it ;)

In french, “bureaucratie”. I don’t know if the word was first english or french, though.
On the other hand, “entrepreneur” is a pure french word.

    @Proud German
    You are right as allways,…
The bad economical situation of the USA, has largely to do with the war/Bloodlust of the BUSH regime.

Those billions and billions of dollars spent in Iraq, would have done a H… of a lot more use in rebuilding the USA that existed prior to BUSH…

And a merry Christmas to you all…

Laissez faire(leave us alone) capitalism is a French term but multi-national corporations & elitist Republican politicians want nothing to do with it! They want to keep the corporate welfare system in place! They want small business competitors to be regulated and taxed to death while major corporations get sweetheart deals! Military contracts in wartime are the biggest corporate welfare fraud of them all with Halliburton, etc embezzling government funds while soldiers have insufficient equipment and almost no rebuilding of Iraq’s war ravaged infrastructure gets done! Half a trillion dollars has been spent so far on this lunatic version of a government urban renewal project!

Corporations have run rampant. Corporations don’t care for the people. Corporations care about profits. Corporations are one third of the reason America has fallen from grace. Membership in the United Nations is another third of the reason. The Federal Reserve is the last third.

Originally corporations were controlled. They started as a group of people to accomplish something. Like building a bridge. Then suddenly they started being treated as people.

There was a movie on google video that dealt with corporations, but it was censored by the thought police.

You see, the plan is to turn America into a fascist state like Nazi Germany. Then the United Nations will swoop in and take control from the evil neo-cons. Who wins? Not you, not me, George Bush will win, the bankers will win, the top 1% will win, but not US…

And, as Christians say ‘God bless you’ or some other such garbage, I feel obliged to end my post with an opportunity for you to discover the truth:

As an auditor in the public accounting industry, I can tell you first hand that the Sarbanes Oxley Act was absolutely necessary. Once again, you show your ignorance. Enron was creating a huge web of “special purpose entities” in a fraudulent manner and their audit firm decided to turn a blind eye since they were making more money on consulting fees. Either check your facts or keep making hilarious jokes.

I love reading this crap since I still can’t figure out if it’s written by a bunch of ignorant redneck zealots or some very witty satirists. Bravo either way, fuckos!

A corporation has been defined as ‘an ingenious device for obtaining individual profit without individual responsibility’ by Ambrose Bierce, The Devil’s Dictionary, 1911.

    I fully agree.

What I don’t get is the connection between capitalism and Jesus?

And if you (USAeans) wish to practice pure capitalism, you can do so… on your own turf. Maybe you get the feel of ancient term ‘peasant revolution’, which taught the European and the Chinese too.
