Here was some great big he-man pushing his weight around just like Hitler tried to do in Europe.? If the United States of America hadn’t stepped up to the plate to take care of this psycho S.O.B the entire Middle East would’ve found itself blackmailed into being Saddam’s butt boy.? And he probably wouldn’t have stopped there!? We already found enough chemical and biological weapons in Iraq (and don’t think we didn’t you whiny, liberals appeasers) to make Joseph Mengele drool.? And that ain’t even thinking about the nuclear bombs he almost built.? Had the United States of America just sat back like the Democ-RATs wanted us to, he would’ve turned that sandpit into a?great big piece of beach glass.

I am sure Saddam is rotting in hell and maybe other towell head criminals now have learned the lesson: Don’t mess with America, ’cause we are gonna mess you up!!!
It took three years… now we need to take Iraq’s example and make OUR justice system at least this fast.
I believe in freedom of speech and all that, but don’t you think that you are taking this a bit too far? Saddam was Already removed from power, what was the point of hanging him? He could have been given a life sentence instead of the government being barbaric and killing an extra person - on top of the mounting Iraqi deaths. Yes, he did do some extremely terrible things, but that is no excuse to turn into animals, like he was, to solve any solutions. Although the saying goes ‘Live by the Sword, Die by the Sword’, there is also a bible entry (Mark 12:30-31) ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ I know that you people are Christians, and knowing that yourselves, you should be compassionate and in a sense ‘good’.

I hate to rain on the STR crew’s parade(no,not really!) but what if by incompetence or design they arrested,tried and hanged one of Saddam’s lookalikes instead of the real Saddam? Sound crazy? Then why is it all the photos of Saddam taken when he was dictator show him with perfect looking teeth but photos taken since he was arrested show him with bad looking teeth? It’s like the indoor video of Osama with chubby cheeks when previous videos showed him with sunken cheeks! His nose was also shorter from bridge to tip but his nostrils flared wider! Has the government been scamming us on nearly everything?

Nope, not quite true, the USSR, despite being called a Communstic society, was a more in lines with a dictatorship. In history of things, the True Marxist Communist ideal requires for the socitey to gradually progress through various stages kof governence and economic structures, including capitalism and demoncracy. There still has not been a Communist society.
As for the appeasement with the USSR, we didn’t ever attack them directly, we used sanctions and carrot and stick techniques to try and avoid war. War was the last thing that we wanted, regardless of whether it was nuclear or not. The world did not want or need the war that would have resulted. We allowed them to take and keep many countries, without direct opposition.
This is very similar to what we had accomplished with Saddam. It’s laughable to call Iraq a war. A war means that the opponet stands a chance of resistence. The country of Iraq, after ten years of successful (as successful as they can be) sanctions the country was in no shape to offer a true armed resistence in the form of a well formed and disciplined army. Even the elite Republican guards weren’t really up to it. The Ba’athist government was going to collapse and Saddam with it allowing for an end similar the somewhat successful freeing of the USSR countries.

I do NOT support the troops and I think killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians and children does not justify the hanging of one dictator. In fact, I think Bush and the neo-cons are more deserving of an execution than Saddam, especially since they staged September Eleventh and killed 3000+ American civilians, and 10000+ American soldiers in Iraq (they don’t count the soldiers who die from the second gulf war syndrome in the official reports). AND I think using depleted uranium on Iraq (causing horrible birth defects) on Iraq is MORE criminal than gassing Kurds! Not to mention we supplied the gas to Saddam!
