1. GAY
being gay is not a choice, I do not think that anyone would want to take the hardest road in life that life has to offer..I became gay the same time you became str8, in my mothers womb. when i was born. I do not give a shit about a hetero’s marriage. Hetero’s are the ones who are AFRAID of same-sex marriages and are insecure about their own marriage and sexuality. Gays do not want to take over the world, gays do not care to break a hetero’s marriage up, being gay is not something you can catch by standing next to a gay person, being gay does not mean it will have an effect on children and turn them gay.
2. Religion,
christianity was not the first religion around. pagan beliefs and religion was around before christianity. christians were the first people to turn their backs on the christian version of god, and turned to the christian made devil. there is nothing in the DOI about god being of the christian religion. It states “laws of nature and nature’s god”. that is the only thing about god in the doi. and IMO natures god has more to do with pagan beliefs since pagan and wiccan religion is a nature and earths religion.
3. bible
The bible was translated so many times that the authors could not keep track of their verses and say one thing in one verse then a couple of verses down say the total opposite. i’m not positive about how it is exactly worded but take this one for example. God said if i lay witness upon myself it is not true. then a couple of verses on down it says “god said even if i bare witness upon myself it is true.
4. hatred
christianity is suppose to be a loving helping religion. but all you people do is insult others for race or religion. or from different countrys. i have read on this site that liberals and homosexuals are the ones that is bringing america down, but you are wrong.. what is bring america down are narrowminded, selfish, prejudice, morons that are so full of hatred.
5. checking fact before posting..
ok who checked the facts on the posting about this country was founded on “one nation under god”? the christian god at that? did you go and read the DOI before posting? evidently not. because you all are stating that it was founded on the christian version where it clearly states “laws of nature and nature’s god”

I would personally like to say that I admire the courage of those who maintain being gay is a choice. I must believe that they are honorable in maintaining that they had a choice and chose to be straight for Jesus. I can only imagine the torment they endured when showering with other guys and suppressing their desires because they knew that had to choose for Jesus. I never had to make that choice. I’ve always like girls and the thought of homosexual sex makes me queasy. But for those who maintain that homoseuxality is a choice, it must be different since they must be speaking from experience.

Although homosexuality isn’t something that creeps me out and stuff (I’ve got lots of gay family members), I tolerate it because it’s not a choice. It’s the way some people are born. Sexuality isn’t a choice. If you have overwhelming urges to be with someone of the same sex, you’re not usually choosing to be that way. Most times, you surpress it because it’s not the “norm”. To me, it’s all about girls. To some of my friends, it’s all about guys. Whatever. It doesn’t bother me, cause they know I’m not gay, so they don’t try anything like that.

So by the weight of the ship, compared to the size of it, the amount in the water becuase of it would be about 150m, starting to see issues? especially with a less than 14m high ship… *glug glug glug*

also, the interbreeding problems caused by that would be horrific, for example. About 40,000 years ago the cheetahs had a diesese or something (can’t remember wat it was exactly) wipe out all but 23 or 24 cheetahs, becuase of this, they were mating with their children, their sisters, brothers and other family members, even now, 40,000 years into the future, they are still having problems because of it, deformities, insanity, low sperm count, no sperm count, and other things like that. And don’t say it’s becuase they’re african creatures or some crap, becuase they originally come from north america, they moved into asia across the land briges around the same time the american indians moved into north america, so yeah…

Well BBN, it would seem that you need a refresher course in reading comprehension. My comment was directed at heteros who hate homosexuals. It was directed at those who maintain, in spite all the scientific evidence to the contrary, that homosexuality is a “choice.” I can only surmise that since science doesn’t back them up, they are speaking from experience. This is an experience that I have not had since, in all my 64 years, I have never had a homosexual desire.
The problem of course is that if homosexuality is not a choice, then “God” made them that way. But wait, God says they are an abomination. Why would God make an abomination and then direct people to kill his creations?
Could it be that the Bible is not God’s word at all but a mean-spirited text written by the ancient Jewish version of the Taliban? This seems, to me, a more likely scenario than than a wand-waving sky fairy that’s so narrow minded and controlling that he names himself “Jealous” (Ex. 34) and demands blood sacrifices.

Second of all, at least 95% of Christians have never even picked up the Apochrypha. As you may have noticed, I have hyperlinked it for those whom may or may not be interested. This is an entirely seperate portion of the canon that was decided long ago wasn’t “good enough” to make the bible. Brush up on it, there’s even more contradictory crap here.
Third of all, up until just after the ‘Dark Ages’, the common man wasn’t even allowed to *own* the bible, so that the priests could use the word of God against their followers, power with which they became unto a socio-pollitical entity of their own. Which is why so many “Christians” started fleeing to the Americas, but that’s a whole different post. In fact, the big religions were so against the common man owning the bible, and openly interpreting it, that they put down a sect of Christianity called the Waldenses. Research them yourself, if you don’t know about them. I suppose the other reason they were “put down” was because they were openly protesting the lavishness of the Roman Catholic Church by swearing vows of poverty. Meh, I digress.
Either way, this leaves many, many hundreds of years in which white, rich men could alter and manipulate the scripture to say whatever agenda they wanted to pitch. Many things were included in the bible more as convenience and necessity. I’m certain that any God worth worshipping is not only understanding, but also progressive.
