Briefly Patriotic - Friday Funnies

We was talking about the bad influence of rap music on our youth the other day after a prayer meeting and I started making some fun of it.? Everybody started laughing and said it was really funny and that I oughta be some kinda rap star!? I tried to tell ‘em I was just funning but they kept telling me that I should record it.? So I did.

Urgent Prayer Request!
Friends,
Somebody that I know who is dear to all of us here at STR.com is in trouble. Kent Hovind, (known to his friends as Dr. Dino), and one of the world’s leading Intelligent Design scientists is being sentenced today after being falsely convicted in yet another travesty of justice.

Dinosaur Adventure Land
We conservatives have grown accustomed to liberal activist judges perverting justice for their own evil ends. Last year Judge Jones betrayed us all when he passed his verdict in the Dover school-book case. Shortly afterwards, our dear friend Kent was convicted of tax evasion.
U.S. District Judge Casey Rodgers will sentence the Hovinds at 9 a.m for the alleged crime of tax evasion. They claim that he and his lovely wife Jo owe the state almost one million dollars in unpaid taxes. A quick review of the case show that the federal court unfairly denied Hovind’s sensible and truthful defence: Kent owes no tax because everything he “owns” is really property of God. This is a fact that we would all do well to remember!

So please dear friends, join me in prayer this morning. Let us pray to Jesus that Kent and Jo will be allowed to continue their important ministry and continue teaching young scientists about the many flaws in Darwin’s theory of evolution.
?

“There were giants in the earth in those days” Gen 6:4.
?The Bible verse that Darwinists can’t refute.
?
In the meantime, we at STR.com will be organising a road-trip to Kent’s amazing Dinosaur Adventure Land, one of America’s wildest theme parks.
Priority will be given to our corporate donors.
Yours in Christ,

47 commentsOf Pandas, Wolves, Birds and People
While I was reading to my daughter from Percival Davis’ excellent ?Of Pandas and People? I learnt something about the differences between the way Neo-Darwinists an proponents of ID think. I think the Darwinists are only interested in looking at disconnected details: They fail to see the big-picture and that is why they fail to spot the handiwork of the Intelligent Designer even though the evidence is staring them in the face: Let me give you an example.

This is probably the best biology text-book ever written. It totally debunks the myth of evolution.
The Tasmanian Wolf looks remarkably like the wolf you and I know of. It?s about the same size, has a similar diet and even has the same kind of fur , jaw structure, teeth and behavior. Anybody can see that these two animals are examples of the same kind of creature. But if you ask an evolutionist where this creature might be placed on the ?tree of life?, they would place these two very similar creatures about as far from each other as could be and yet still both be considered mammals. That?s sort of like somebody from Kentucky claiming that their next door neighbour lives in New Jersy!

The Tasmanian Wolf, this creature is now extinct. We do not know why extinction happens - most probably this is all part of God’s plan.
These taxonomical oddities are not an isolated feature: Darwin’s ?Tree of Life? abounds with anomalous classifications: Few high-schools mention that evolutionists regard all birds as a sub-class of reptiles. That is to say if one branch of the tree represents every living and extinct reptile, every known species of bird would be represented by a sub-branch of that reptile branch. Next time you hear an iguana say ?Polly Want a Cracker?, tell me, but until then I propose that this classification makes no sense at all!

Oh no! We are being attacked by a DINOSAUR… RUN! Oh wait - have the neo-darwinists been watching too much Jurassic-park?
Wouldn?t it make more sense if we devised a more functional taxonomy; one where very similar kinds of animal were grouped together? One based on the sensible principles and proven science of Intelligent Design?
One might wonder why this idea has not occurred to the proponents of neo-darwinism? Actually it has, but they dismiss it because of a few small details here and there. One such difference between the Tasmanian and American wolf is it?s reproductive strategy: The Tasmanian wolves are ?marsupial?, and other wolves are ?placental? like our species. Evolutionists say that these are two very different branches of evolution, one which has retained primative DNA, the other has developed more modern features. Because of this one single difference, these two wolves are consigned to different ends of evolution?s spectrum.

The American Grey Wolf - a more advanced version of the same design that gave us the marsupial wolf.
Why should reproductive strategy be valued above all other differences and similarities? It makes no sense at all given that everything else about the two wolf species is so similar. Surely science should recognise similarities as well as differences?
Wouldn?t it make more sense to see this in the context of Intelligent design? It?s possible that the designer made two different revisions of the same basic design. This is something that human designers do all the time, and it seems perfectly normal to us. What is the probability that these two creatures ?evolved? to look the same: According to evolution, change happens by random mutation. An evolutionist might therefore expect one kind of wolf to turn blue, and the other one to grow antlers.
Fortunately that is not the case. We are left with two varieties of wolf, one version placental, the other version marsupial. We can only guess at what the objectives of the designer were, but I personally suspect that these creatures are two iterations of a design that eventually left us with the most perfect wolf-like form: The modern domesticated dog.

The most perfect form of canine: The modern dog.
So what can we learn from these wolves? I suggest that in science (as in all walks of life), sometimes scrutiny of the details alone can lead to false conclusions. Sometimes the only sensible, common sense approach is to look at the big picture: And once we step back and appreciate the many wonders of creation the Designer?s signature is self-evident.

21 commentsBriefly Patriotic - The HR254 Thought Crime Bill
?

?
Welcome to the liberal takeover of America.? HR254, which also goes by the name of the David Ray Hate Crimes Prevention Act will make it impossible to even think bad thoughts about gay people.? It?s more of a Thought Crime Bill.? Under this bill, you?ll spend more time in jail for killing a gay then you will for killing a sweet little old grandmother walking home from the store with cat food to feed her kitty.? Let me just make this clear ? you will spend more time in jail for killing a gay who tried to have sex with you then some crackhead who beats a little old grandmother?s head in for the pocket change in her purse.? It?s time to cut this crap out.? ALL crimes are hate crimes.? It?s time to stop giving preferential treatment to sissy boys just because they don?t know how to fight back.? And it?s time to stop playing on people?s emotions and see crime for what it is ? Crime.

A Christian reader of STR.com alerted to me that a terrible Atheist craze that is sweeping this nation. These evil blashphemers, deprived as they are of a moral compass, have been trying to co-opt Our Lord and Savior into a gay disco routine.

The three on the right have just earned themselves a place in hell.
Shame on them! It’s disgusting! I personally find such actions deeply offensive, and I’m sure that my fellow Christians across America share my anger.
Do we need to have armed guards around every picture and image of the Greatest Man That Ever Lived now? Is this what America has come to just weeks into the new Satanic reign of terror that is the Democratic Congress?
I urge all readers of STR.com to protest the Democrats for allowing these things to happen and, should you spot these desecrators, to urge them to stop. By any means necessary!
I would write more, but I’m just too mad right now.
God be with you,

?

?
Yesterday I received an urgent letter from the Reagan Ranch.? I?m sure you know that Young America?s Foundation saved the ranch from an evil developer that wanted to buy the land and destroy the legacy of this great President.? As the letter says, ?Here President Reagan signed his 1981 Economic Recovery Act ? the largest tax cut in American history? Here he renewed his commitment to rebuild America?s military?until he could go to Berlin and say: ?Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall!?? And down it came.?? Now, while they saved the ranch, they still gotta keep it looking as bright and sparkly as the day that President Reagan killed Communism.? I?m sure that all American Patriots are gonna want to hop on over to http://supporters.yaf.org/ and thank President Reagan for making this world a safer place.? AND they?ll send you a bumper sticker and address labels!? Beats the heck out of a PBS tote bag with a picture of Stalin on it!
10 commentsBriefly Patriotic - National Religious Freedom Day

On Religious Freedom Day, we commemorate the passage of the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, authored by Thomas Jefferson, and we celebrate the First Amendment’s protection of religious freedom.
Across the centuries, people have come to America seeking to worship the Almighty freely. Today, our citizens profess many different faiths, and we welcome every religion. Yet people in many countries live without the freedom to worship as they choose and some face persecution for their beliefs. My Administration is working with our friends and allies around the globe to advance common values and spread the blessings of liberty to every corner of the world. Freedom is a gift from the Almighty, written in the heart and soul of every man, woman, and child, and we must continue to promote the importance of religious freedom at home and abroad.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim January 16, 2007, as Religious Freedom Day. I call on all Americans to reflect on the great blessing of religious liberty, endeavor to preserve this freedom for future generations, and commemorate this day with appropriate events and activities in their schools, places of worship, neighborhoods, and homes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this eleventh day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand seven, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-first.
GEORGE W. BUSH

11 commentsDemoc-RAT Party Profile - Tom Vilsack
If there’s one thing you can say about us Conservative Christians it’s that we love our babies. We love our babies so much that we ain’t gonna have sex until we get married cuz we don’t kill God precious pre-borns and we sure ain’t gonna bring no bastards into this world. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for adoption but if Liberals stopped having sex with everybody they laid eyes on then the only kids that’d need adopting would be the ones whose parents died.
Instead, all sorts of wicked people have meaningless sex, wind up pregnant and either kill their beautiful pre-born child before he or she has a chance to even take its first breath or give the child up for adoption. And while you may wanna say, “well, at least they didn’t kill the poor pre-born” in the end they still broke God’s law and two wrongs don’t make a right.
You may feel sorry for the poor bastard child, but how many of you want a bastard in the White House?

This “rapper” Old Dirty Bastard is now dead
due to his wicked life and upbringing
And doubly so if that bastard is Tom Vilsack, probably the first bastard governor of a state. Tommy don’t know nothing about his mommy and neither do we. We don’t know nothing about his daddy, either. She might have been a full blooded Navajo princess. His daddy could have been a Communist spy. We know that President George W. Bush comes from a family that takes its commitiment to serving the United States of America seriously. We know that Bill Clinton’s family was white trash and he wound up marrying a lesbian that killed Vince Foster. You tell me who was the better President.

A lot of people say that who your parents are
defines the type of person you become. Would President
George W. Bush marry a woman like this?
Let’s take a look at Tom Vilsack and see what we can make of him
A 2006 KAAL poll found that fully 39% of Iowans disapproved of the job that “Governor” Vilsack did. That’s about 80,000 Iowans which ain’t a small number. What didn’t they like about him?

As “Governor” Vilsack’s poll numbers he makes more promises.
President Bush doesn’t care about polls.
“Governor” Vilsack signed Bill 2797 that allowed dogs to be classified as livestock. That’s right - dogs, pigs, cows, chickens - it’s all the same to him. Whaddya do with a pig? Well, if ya changed yer name to Transcendant Butterfly you’d probably give up your bed to it and sleep on the floor because animals are people, too. Everybody else eats ‘em. Anyone wanna guess what’s in the hot dogs coming out of Iowa lately? Or why the food’s so cheap in Chinese restaurants?

Please don’t eat me, “Governor” Vilsack!
You might remember how George W. Bush sent the Immigration and Custom officials to a Swift meatpacking plant in (where else?) Iowa to round up a buncha Mexican criminals that stole jobs from Americans. While the rest of the country breathed a sigh of relief that a bunch of illegal immigrants got a great big American boot up their butt that kicked ‘em back to Meh-hee-co, “Governor” Vilsack whined like a little girl about how the US Government didn’t give him any warning about Operation Wetback Back. I guess that he was more concerned about the safety of foxes than the security of the chicken coop. Or maybe he’s got some kinda backrub thing going on with Big Business because…

traffic laws, too?
… so many Iowans fled the Vilsack Gulag that “Governor” Vilsack wants to import Iowans from places like - Meh-hee-co. He’s says that he wants to make Iowa more “diverse” but 58% of the Iowans left think there’s enough “diversity” already. Maybe those people are getting a little tired of eating dogs for dinner and wanna go back to steak on Sundays.

We really should treat our “temporary guest workers”
better than ordinary Americans.
“Governor” Vilsack loves criminals so much that he wants ‘em to vote. I ain’t sure who else would vote for him?! He signed a bill that allowed convicted felons to vote in elections once they got out of prison. I wonder what kind of things a convicted felon would vote for? Legalized drugs? Prostitution? Abortion on demand? That’s like telling a child that they get to have whatever they want for dinner! Ice cream, cookies, cake and soda with a Goo Goo Cluster for dessert. I think Iowa House Speaker Christopher Rants, R-Sioux City, said said it best - “I think society’s entitled to say, you know what, we welcome you back, but you don’t get to help make laws once you’ve crossed a certain line,” Now THAT’S Presidential material!

“Just a Goo Goo cluster with a side of armed robbery
for me, please, Governor!”
Remember that gay fella that got killed by a couple of drug addicts in Wyoming and everybody called it a “hate crime”? Well, if you’re a homosexual high school student, live in Iowa somehow manage to get good grades in between your gay sex orgies, “Governor” Vilsack wants to give you the chance to win a $25,000 “Matthew Shepard Scholarship” to the University of Iowa! That’s right! It don’t matter to “Governor” Vilsack that God finds homosexuality an affront to Him - he wants to give you an education so that you can go out and destroy society and cheapen the institution of marriage.

“I’m here/I’m queer/Give me a scholarship and
the chance to corrupt your children!”
If you ain’t convinced that the bastard President Vilsack would hand over the country to gay, dog-eating, Mexican/Chinese felons then I want you to consider this - in an article in the Washington Post, a childhood friend let out this whopper - that as an adolescent, “Governor” Vilsack used to carry around a book of essays by left-wing Commie, Hubert H. Humphrey.

Like communism itself, HHH was destined to lose
And if that ain’t the definition of a loser, I don’t know what is.
God is Love!
21 commentsMLK Inspires our conservative values
Friends,
I like to think of the Republican party as a big old church with wide open doors, and a friendly sign outside inviting anybody who truly loves our Lord and Savour, Jesus Christ to come on in and share his goodness and love. We are the party of moderation and inclusion and we’re the people calling for a re-United States of America where Christians of every color can come together to defeat our common enemies the islamofascists, atheists, illegal immigrants and homosexuals.
At a time like this, it’s worth pausing for a moment to think of one of the last century’s Republican heroes, somebody who is has been an inspiration for our President and the whole STR.com team. I’m sure that most of you have guessed that I’m talking about Martin Luther King Jr, one of the greatest Republicans that ever lived.
Martin Luther King Jr was a Republican. An inspirational T-shirt design from our friends at the National Black Republican Association. I believe I’m going to be wearing one of these next MLK day.
If the Reverend King was alive today, I just know he would want to shake our president by the hand and say ?You’ve done a heck of a job, George?. As I am sure you know, King was a Baptist, and a man of God just like President Bush. I’m sure he would be impressed to see how America has prospered and grown in faith under GW’s leadership.
The Rev. King would look at today’s Republican party and say “My Work here is Done”. He would see his fellow African-Americans in seats of power: Condoleezza Rice and Coln Powell, and the good deeds have done and say that there is no more need for the Civil Rights movement. He would ask America to focus on today’s problems: The defense of marriage and our Religious liberties.
But what about the War against the Islamofascist terrorists? I just know he would once again stand up for the President. He’d say “Mr President, The whole of my life I’ve campaigned for Freedom. I support America’s war against terror for the same reason I supported our soldiers in Vietnam. It’s time for the whole of America to back the war-effort with prayers but most of all votes… for the Republican party.”
But please don’t take my word for it, listen to the recording (at the end of this article) of a conversation between two members of the National Black Republican Association, an organization dedicated to revealing the truth about Marin Luther King. I know that many liberals still believe that MLK was one of them, however that simply is not the truth. Please have a look this official biography:
Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 at his family home in Atlanta, Georgia. King’s grandfather was a Baptist preacher, and his father was pastor of Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church. King earned his own Bachelor of Divinity degree from Crozier Theological Seminary in 1951 and earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Boston University in 1955. As a Baptist Minister, he was an eloquent civil rights movement leader from the mid-1950’s until his death by assassination on April 3, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee where he was there to support striking sanitation workers. King registered as a Republican in 1956.
As pastor of a Baptist church in Montgomery, Alabama, King lead a black bus boycott. He and ninety others were arrested and indicted under the provisions of a law making it illegal to conspire to obstruct the operation of a business. King and several others were found guilty, but appealed their case. A Supreme Court decision in 1956 ended Alabama’s segregation laws enacted by Democrats. After this success, King was made president of the newly established Southern Christian Leadership Conference. King led the 1963 March on Washington where he delivered his most famous ?I Have a Dream? speech. King became a national hero as he promoted non-violent means to achieve civil rights reform. He was awarded the 1964 Noble Peace Prize for his efforts, and President Ronald Reagan made King?s birthday a national holiday
Does that sound like the life of a liberal? Not to me. Republican presidents supported King and helped his cause, just like the Republican party fights for all American freedom today. The democ-rats opposed King and voted for racist laws that hurt African-Americans. No wonder Martin Luther King was a life long Republican!
PS. If you get a moment, please listen to this ad from the NBRA, a non-partisan group dedicated to keeping alive Martin Luther King’s message and exposing democratic lies.
Yours in Christ,
