GodTube - A Slippery Slope?
Did you know that sometimes the best way to make your point is to ask a rhetorical question?? It’s true.? I’m gonna give you an example -
The other day while picketing an abortion clinic, this tramp starts mouthing off about how if her daddy can’t tell her what to do then she sure as heck ain’t gonna listen me and then she started blaspheming, the way those of weak moral character often do.? After I pointed out that if she killed her baby there’d be no hope of getting into Heaven, she started laughing and blaspheming again.? “Would you like borrow my gun so you can kill yourself while you’re at it?”, I asked politely.? She just stood there dumbfounded and her “goth” painted face got even whiter than it already was.? Then she stomped off down the street…away from the abortion clinic!? Thank you, Jesus!

A lotta folks call me an old fuddy-duddy because I ain’t a computer-rider and I don’t know a gigabite from a mice.? I know that computers are supposed to make our lives easier, but the more I read Tristan’s articles about Linux being a Satanic Communist plot to destroy America and all we hold dear the more I wonder if these computer things is such a good idea.
Of course, almost everybody has a computer.? Even child murders serving life in prison get their own laptops.? If you ain’t got a computer, you can get fired from your job or at least made fun of.? Libraries ain’t places to go and read anymore, it’s a place to go and use the computer to watch pornography.? A friend of mine told recently that he reckons about 85% of what’s out on the World Weary Web is pure pornography, plain and simple.? I got no reason to doubt him.? Doing a simple search for “Jesus breast” even brings up pornographic images of filth.? There just ain’t no good reason for Jesus and pornography ever to be in the same room.? Ever.

So when one of the kids at church started talking about GodTube I had to ask him three or four times to repeat it.? GodTube, I guess, is supposed to be the Christian alternative to YouTube.? Instead graphic videos of 13 year old having sex, al Qaeda members cursing America and liberals making fun of President Bush and people of faith, GodTube gives you 100% Christian content that’s safe for the whole family.
Or does it?
The video below is supposed to be a parody of that Apple commercial with the chubby guy and Keanu Reeves.? Apple Computers.? The people who make the Macintosh.? The computer that makes you gay.
Why would you wanna do that?? You get kids thinking about Apple Computers and the next thing you know there prancing into the Apple Store and looking at gay porn!? And it ain’t just one reference, either
“The Theology of the iPod”??? How about the theology of God?? How about the theology of avoiding sin instead of always putting it in front of our young people’s faces?
It’s time to stop trying to make God “hep”.? God ain’t cool.? Jesus ain’t cool.? Being a Christian ain’t cool.? That ain’t to say that being a Christian is dull, we have a good old time!? But it ain’t a snazzy special effects, MTV kind of fun.? It’s the kind of fun you get when you can feel Jesus inside you, urging you to follow him and letting you know that Heaven is just about the most wonderful place on Earth!

Yes, you are.
I know that y’all probably went a government school so you never learned to read or write but it ain’t never to late to learn. Once you know how to read then you don’t need a “portable audio player”. You can buy your own copy of the Bible and read the Word of God without any secular spin on it.
I can find you a literacy program if your area if y’all need won.

Correct me if I got you wrong, but aren’t you, at STR, always praising your current president and government as sort of proxy of god on earth? How come, then, that you are so contemptuous of government schools, courts, judges, authorities etc.? Seems rather strange to me, and quite contradictory. But then again, all your posts are strange, contradictory, silly and stupid beyond reasoning. So no surprise, really.
If only you were still funny, but you aren’t. Ah, well, I’m probably expecting too much.
