Briefly Patriotic - The 2007 TV Decency Survey

Pat Boone was once the most hated man in America.? In his almost carnal lust for the almighty dollar, he recorded watered down versions of Negro ?rock and roll? songs thereby acting as a gateway to unadulterated evil of the originals.? Who knows how many souls suffer in Hell because of him??? But like Billy Baldwin he?s seen the light and now works actively to save as many souls as he condemned.? He just started the Pat Boone 2007 TV Decency survey which needs, as he says, five million people to say enough is enough.? The average child sees 38 sexual acts on TV per day and that 38 sexual acts too many.? So if you?re tired of seeing TV shows containing hardcore, explicit sexual acts between homosexuals who swear and commit unspeakable murders then I urge you to help Pat Boone, your children and America by filling out this survey.

The blame for children seeing material that is inappropriate for them lies SOLELY on the parents. The government has NO place regulating our media in such a way.

If you can’t trust your children are watching material that’s appropriate for them, block every channel that does broadcast objectionable material. The government, especially the FCC, has no business telling me what I can watch just because someone’s a bad parent and doesn’t know how to control what media gets to their kids.

It’s called personal responsibility, people. It’s time for us to stop using the media as our scapegoat and take responsibility for our actions. Republicans and Democrats alike don’t understand this concept. Wake up, people. Your carelessness is what’s ruining this country. A little responsibility goes a long way.

Why would people be suffering in Hell for listening to Pat Boone doing crappy versions of Rock and Roll songs? Listening to the songs would make me suffer like hell itself as far as I’m concerned! LOL But seriously, where on Earth are you seeing on television “hardcore, explicit sexual acts between homosexuals who swear and commit unspeakable murders”? I’ve never heard of a gay porn snuff film channel! That’s what your description sounds like to me! I’m sure that’s illegal in every part of the world on satellite TV,in X-rated theaters,on the Internet or on video! If you’re going to criticize specific content that’s outrageously extreme on TV,you need to list the network where you saw it or anyone of reasonable intelligence will assume you made it up!

Here’s an article about the REAL obscenity on TV! It’s featured on the “other” STR website, the Strike The Root site! It’s entitled, “Weapons as Entertainment” by Barry Tudor. http://www.strike-the-root.com/71/tudor/tudor1.html

Get this filth off TV period. I dont care if it is made up or not, just get it off. Just the idea of homosexuals on television flaunting their sexuality to minors, even if they have a remote control, is enough for me.

    Hello Shelley Friends, Good morning!

Last night on TV(!) I watched the movie Jesus Camp. I have to say that this was one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen. It was about how evanglicals (how is that spelled?) use summer camps and scare tactics to frighten there children into becoming mindless “Christain Soilders” ie. little mini-slaves of so-called “Holy People”. TV could never do the same kind of corrupting damage that is done to innocent children in that movie. I dont watch TV that much .I only watch one movie on Friday nights and one movie on Saterday nights if Im not out with my friends. Thats it. I really dont like TV. Shelley people- TV is the least of your worries. Why dont you try to do someting good for the children and let them enjoy living life however it is that they want. Since you have so much influence over insane republican child-corrupters, maybe you can convince them to stop hurting those poor kids.

    Love,
    Your dear sweet Hester.

Easy answer to that problem (without having to spent billions of dollars for surveillance and trying to enforce a law): Make the parents watch their children. And let them decide. Easy as that.
