In particular, Spring Creek Church in Pewakee, Wisconson
Which has so far left Your teaching
That the pastor saw fit to tell the audience his wife was “hot”
And?they included in their service
An impersonator of a fat, alcoholic, drug addicted singer of “rock and roll” who died of a drug overdose on the toilet to sing Your praises
We know that Elvis Preseley burns in Hell
And has no place in the glorification of Your name
And that everyone in attendence should be struck dead in Your mercy

I’m no fan of Elvis Presley,but I know how to spell his last name and I’ve heard elsewhere he never drank alcohol! I don’t pretend to know if he’s in Hell,I’m not God nor do I know if he prayed for forgiveness for his sins before he died! Changing the subject,Jesus never told anyone to pray for people to die! Besides,Jesus said to pray in the closet!
Elvis served in the US Army,loved his parents,and sang gospel songs! He went to the Nixon White House and asked to work with the feds as an informant to “nark” on fellow entertainers! Nixon was uptight about meeting this long haired “Rock-and-Roll” star who wore flashy jumpsuits! Nixon was so straight-arrow button-down he was the kind of man who wore wingtip shoes while strolling on a beach! Nixon turned the offer down,instead making Elvis an honorary FBI agent. His”Rock-and-Roll” music in the 60’s and 70’s,was squeeky-clean wholesome fare(I thought it was bland fluff),like his movies! He was addicted to prescription drugs,but so was Betty Ford(Surely you’ve heard of the Betty Ford Clinic!) and Rush Limbaugh! I read somewhere that Nixon was wasted on barbiturates and talking to portraits of Presidents during his final days in the White House! Simply because Elvis sang “Rock-and-Roll” and had a substance abuse problem(Prescription drugs,not illegal drugs or alcohol!),you “know” he went to Hell? If he just sang gospel,did his movies without “Rock-and-Roll” songs in them and was a vocal Republican,you’d be calling him a heroic entertainer!

This is outrageous. Can you honestly say that the prospect of Elvis burning in Hell for all eternity makes you feel good? Can you honestly say that the prospect of ANYONE burning in Hell for all eternity makes you happy. I thought God’s mercy was infinite.
