You know, Stem cell research doesn?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥t always involve the killing of “pre-borns”. Stem cell research is very important and could save many lives or improve them. It’s selfish to oppose stem cell research. Some of my relatives studies stem cells and so I know how important this is for some people. Let me try to explain this concept in a way you’ll understand: A person has suffered a spinal cord injury and cannot move. In biblical times Jesus would have just healed that person. Now the plan is for people to figure out how to do this though science. So stem cells are used. That?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s all there is to it. Sorry (all other people who like to post here)to sound like a religious fanatic here but I’m trying to let these people see this issue in a way that?¢‚Ǩ?°?É‚Äû?ɬ¥s comfortable and familiar to them. Then maybe they’ll be more accepting to it.

Shelley, why can’t you just let the issue go? So many people will be helped and saved and if the research proves fruitful, then fetuses wont have to be used. The idea of research is to LEARN form it. Stem cell research is a good thing.
Chill out and let the scientists do what they have to.

Billy, thanks for today’s update. When I saw your model embryo I almost shed a tear for all the innocent pre-borns that have been brutally murdered in the name of science. Thank you for keeping this issue at the forefront of all of our minds.
I’m just so glad we have a President who has the good sense to know when to stop man playing God. I’m sure those other godless countries will continue stem-cell research, but they will receive God’s punishment in due time.

Your kids could not be “killed” before they were “fertilized”. That cannot happen. See, when your wife conceived your kids this is what happened.
1. You had sex, and penetrated her.
2. You came.
3. One of your sperm FERTILIZED one of her eggs.
There is no way to “kill” something before its fertilized because it is physically not in existence before fertilization. See?

anyways , What happens to embriyo isn’t death , their just becoming part of another human being and help him live and those cells even stays alive themselves . when your doing stem cell research your not killing the cells of an embryo but just putting them in another human being and those cells stay alive and thus if they stay alive it’s not murder.

When murder someone , all of him organ and cells cease to function and his organs taken apart, but in stem research all the organs of an embryo stays alive and stays together, because they are need to bred in a culture and then they are injected together into another person. thus it defies the defention of murder because the embryos aren’t taken apart and thier cells stay together in a culture and continue to function
You are trying to save medical waste. These clumps of cells do not feel pain and are not “human” they are just cells in a dish with the potential for life if used in the in-vitro fertilization process. If not, they are thrown away. These cells have a shelf life and will degrade over time and be unusable for anything. If this bill doesn’t pass, your not “saving” anything, because those same clumps of cells will get rinsed down the sink or incinerated as medical waste. As usual, STR is “research free”.

What is a snow flake child? I am just pointing out to Billy Bob that fertilization is the beginning of fetal development. Before fertilization Billy Bob’s “unborn child” was a separate egg and a separate sperm. It did have feelings because “TI” was two separate things. Understand?
