The voice on the video says (translation by Frank Hess, Freiburg): “You are in the Bronx and in front of you are Niggers that killed your family. You will execute those fucking American niggers and before you kill them you scream Motherfuckers! Now shoot down that Bronx-N*gger!!!”

The German government acted immediately on this. “Bronx-N*gger” is now replaced by “nappy headed ho” or “rag head” to harmonize with international standards.

First of all let me tell you one thing: I am a German.
Second: I do have good friends in the USA, all of them see WW II as a thing of the “bad old days”, just like we do over here.
To state that we are planning a new World War is , ahem,….strange.
(BTW: It is called Bundeswehr, not Bundesheer. Austria has a “Bundesheer”.)
Our army is reduced to a nearly-unoperable size and budget, it took us 5 months of discussing if we could senc SIX (!!!!) recon Tornados to Afghanistan to support NATO troops there.
And you are stating we prepare another world war?
Come on, take of that old hat and take a close look at Germany as it is today. Knowing history is a good thing, but LIVING in the past is not. Hate creates hate, dont fall in that trap!
Again, I do have good people as friends in the US, many of them military or ex-military, so they would be the first to know if something was wrong with US-German relations.
Maybe a single Bundeswehr-member spoke unacceptable nonsense. Did he speak for all of Germany?
Come on, I sure wont hold “special treatments” by US-sevrice members done in Iraq, Afghanistan or somewhere else in the world against ALL Americans. And you know there were/ are worse things than WORDS happening with US troops.
There will always be individuals doing serious mistakes. Concluding from a bad statement of one person (except he would be an important political leader, of course) that we are preparing for WW 3 is beyond any rationality.

Sometimes it is necessary, but you certainly shouldn’t celebrate it (except with the happiness that comes from doing God’s work and sending sinners to satan) and you certainly shouldn’t swear while you do it. The video is clearly NOT official. It was first aired on youtube and only days later discovered by our own left-wing drive-by media (to qoute one of Shelley?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s favourite cliche?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•s).
Our Armed forces are called BUNDESWEHR! It consists of Luftwaffe (Air Force), Marine (Navy), Heer (Army), KSK (Special Forces), joint staff and medical service. The BUNDESHEER is the name for AUSTRIA?Ǭ¨?Ǭ•S ground forces!
Ok now for real: This drill sarge went a few steps too far. Asfaik he has been transfered to a lets say not so fine place by now. That guy has some major problems coming his way. But honestly, the ruckus about this is way to big to be justified by such a single occurence. Sometimes that media idiots can be a real pain in the ***.

@Sam: Man, if swearing is bad, I know a lot of US soldiers that are destined for the lower stories. They almost always began swearing when we where finished with them in the exercises during the cold war. Ah, that funny arrogance thinking that conscripts are good for nothing. It was always a pleasure to lure those guys into the trap and getting them to bet on the outcome of the training battle. Afterwards my company did not need to spend money for our beer for 3 weeks. :)
