Using and abusing Women for Stem Cell Research

The pseudo science of “stem cell research” demands an enormous amount of human “material”, namely eggs. These pre-born babies will then be killed and cut up in little pieces for sick experiments that are not useful in any way other than to fill the pockets of scientists.
The process of the “egg harvesting” is extremely painful and harmful to the young women. Dubious companies place ads in major newspapers offering “$50 for each harvested egg, the procedure only takes minutes and is completely painless”. This is a dirty filthy lie of course. There are massive side effects. The operation is usually very painful and in many cases the young woman will be unable to bear a child.
Why are we letting this happen?
“The practice of harvesting parts of the human body in order to do experiments reminds me of what the German scientists did with young Jewish women in the concentration camps.”, said Professor Steve Klyne from the Medical University of South Carolina.
It makes me mad as hell when human life, God’s own creation, is destroyed for profit and in the same time woman are getting abused and injured and lied to.
This has to stop. I urge you to get more information about this issue on proLifeBlogs and other credible places.

Shelley, this is just horrifying. As a mother, you must almost feel as if those infants are being ripped from your own womb! Oh the shame! I can hear them crying now.
Well Shelley, I do agree with you on one thing. Killing unborn babies is wrong, I agree, but I also believe that killing a mother’s soul is also as bad. You see, when a woman gets pregnant without meaning to, she doesn’t want to screw up her baby’s life, so she aborts him. I think it’s okay if the woman knows that she won’t be able to take care of her baby and aborts it, but if the woman does it many times, she deservs to be punished.
Human life has always been valued cheep by scientists. Like what Dr Swift wrote over three hundred years ago to cure poverty in Ireland in A Modest Proposal:
“I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed, is, at a year old, a most delicious nourishing and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricasie, or a ragoust.”
These scientists do not care a jot for other people, or morality, or what God said about the sanctity of human life. It makes you want to puke in a bucket.
just a note. a modest propsal was written as a tongue in cheek article. It was written to tell the government that, since they had alreaddy taken everything from the impovrished people of ireland, they might as well eat their children, for there is not much else they could do to hurt them. thought i would just point that out. and i do not agree with stem cell research, as it is being conducted at resent. if they think they have a clever idea, they could very well test it another way.

I have to disagree on the one part where you say it might be OK to kill a baby. The pregnant woman does not create the baby. Only God created life. To kill this life that is His, is wrong. No matter what!
Women aborting babies, even if their own life is in danger, should be executed, because they are murderers.

This Professor Steve Klyne from the Medical University of South Carolina looks like a great man. But he does not seem to be at that University right now. Would you have an email for him so that I could send him money so he can continue his important research to stop this hacking and slashing at defenceless unborn human beings?
I am sorry but I can’t do that. You can’t find him in the internet. He is very careful with sharing his personal data. You can call the university and ask for him, though. That is how I got in touch with him. He is a fine gentleman.
If those nutty professors need eggs, why don’t they take it from chicken?
Once again STR is a “Research Free Zone” henceforth refered to as RFZ. Both stem cell measures passed by Congress had provisions against “egg harvesting” and only used the blastocysts from in-vitro fertilization attempts that would otherwise be thrown away. There are no babies being cut up. You are not “saving” anything since what you are trying to save is medical waste. As Shelley always says, “Research free is the way to be”.

No. I am not drunk. I am not sure what lead you to that conclusion. I was merely pointing out the fault in a previous comment and stating that I do not agree with stem cell research. I believe that if the scientists think they have a valid idea that needs exploring, there are other ways to do so, then harvesting eggs/fetuses from a human female.

Whether you like it or not Shelley, the American soldiers who died and are still dying in Iraq, as well as the “towelheads” you refer to, are also life created by God. And yet you think it’s just fine to kill them. That contradicts quite a lot with the 2 quotes above doesn’t it?

Stem cell research uses the umbillical cord, the part you usually throw out after the child is born. If they were harvested as a fertalised egg, it would be at the blastosis stage, when the egg could be mistaken for one of any other animal.
You’re either seriosly misinformed, for which I would pity you, or doing it for the lulz, in which case I suggest you stop, someone might beleive you and shoot up a research lab.
