I have it on good authority that many very influential people are reading this little blog every day to get informed about current world- and lifestyle news.
Extreme leftwing activists are trying to discredit our credibility by nominating us for “Worst Blog Ever“. This is hate speech in it’s purest form, directed at Christian values and morals.
We will not be intimidated by the hateful attacks from the left. I urge you to boycott the website BloggerChoiceAwards who is harboring these terrorist activities!!!

Shelley, this is just like what that vile pornographer Larry Flynt did to Rev. Falwell. Liberals like these self-appointed awards people have always used their media as a means to attack American values and culture.
We Republicans believe in free speech, heck we have no objection to gentle laughter and a little rough humor. What I cannot stand is the orchestrated hate-campaign run by all the liberals who oppose our sensible moral outlook on life. That goes way beyond a joke.

There is so much hate, and evil talk and cussing on the internet today, it is just nice to get home after a busy days work and log into a site which presents current news and events in a Christian way. Its probably the only nice way I have to keep up with current events and social trends.

God guided President Bush to fix the problem in Iraq. As a result, there are much less unbelievers living there. The Middle East is full of unbelievers, and there is a such a concentration of them there, it is hard to see how God will accomplish his designs without having a President in the United States who is prepared to continue God’s work. At the moment, I am sorry to say, there does not seem to be a Republican candidate who has the credentials or desire to carry on God’s work. Remember, the Lord God is a jealous God, and he gives His Blessing where He will. If the USA cannot or will not act, then I see only two candidates.
The first is Israel. Their only fault is blinding their eyes and hardening their hears to the love of Jesus Christ. But they have been steadfast allies. They have the atomic weapons. And they have the will if pressed.
The second is the Germans. They have gone astray in the past, but now seem to be on the right track. Their technical expertise cannot be doubted, and history has shown that in that nation there can be a strong will under singular guideance to change the world if they will. I think God would be considering the Germans most of all to inherent his Blessing.

Many times I read at STR, all Europeans are democrats, unbelievers and such things. We all know, the Pope and the Vatican are based in Italy, Europe. Every year millions of active Christians do their pilgrimage to the Vatican, to join the Pope and to celebrate with him Easter or Christmas. Most of them are Europeans.
I am originally from Greece and I remember, we have thousends of churches all over this country. More than a half of the Greek population go to church 2-3 times a week.
And there are actually people in the States, who call the Europeans unbelievers. Not all are unbelievers and depends which state it is. For example in Italy, Greece or Spain, they have the highest population of good Christians. But Britan, Netherlands or Scandinavia as well, they just have a few active Christians.
If I ask someone on the street in Athens, Rome or Paris and would ask, what he thinks about the States, most of the Europeans say, “The Americans are bad educated and believe everything!”
You can see - they are prejudiced! But they think in the same nerrow-minded way like some Americans do. The same way of thinking you can find in Russia, China, Australia and so on.
The big enemy of all free and democratic states, the communism, it colapsed 17 years ago. All democratic states were happy. Basically there are a high number of Russians, they still believe in their old Sovjet Communism, they say, their life was much better in the past. We can find the same narrow-minded people in Russia as well, they believe in their own history only and many of them are convinced in their own Russian movie industry and dislike US movies. This is the result of political propaganda and the work of their national press.
The better educated people in all parts of the world are different. We can see, education, a good general knowledge and devoutness are very important to understand the neighbors much better.
An other very interesting point is - the Bible and the Coran are actually related, both holy books have their origin in the Middle East. Many of these islamists are extreme narrow-minded and hate the Christians. They actually think and some told me, they are the only one, who believe in God (Allah) and are Godfearing people.
On my trip to Egypt, I met a couple of Muslims, old, young, rich or poor. They actually told me. “All Americans, Russians and Europeans are unbelievers, all Christians are on the wrong way!”
Some of them even tried to convinced me, to convert to Islam. They gave me their holy book Coran (it was an English translation). 3-4 weeks I spent in Egypt and every evening I read some pages of this book in my bed. After some days I realized, the Coran is very similar to the Bible, both religions must have the same roots.
However, we have many cultures, meanings, religions and all believe, they are the only one, who are on the right way to God!
Prejudiced, bigoted and narrow-minded people are in all countries, this is an international and very old phenomenon, which goes even back to biblical times. Governments, presidents, politicians, televison and newspapers support these people in their behavior and approve them in their narrow-minded way of thinking. Cause governments and presidents can be sure, to get their vote in the next election.
WE can watch this phenomenon all the time, last week, president Putin told his people, Russia dont needs Europe and America, we have our own history and economy! The Americans say, we dont need Europe! And the Europeans say, we dont need Russia and America, the Arabian countries say, we dont need the Christians, China says, we dont need the Europeans with their ideas of humanrights, the Australians say, we dont need the rest of the world and so on and so on…… (sounds funny and crazy, unfortunatelly this our situation right now)
But now, we need each other much more as in the past. We have a lot of common or international problems, like the overpopulation, global warming, water shortage, air pollution, saving ethical values, unemployment, international and organized crime, terrorism, slavery, world hunger and fair sharing, ozone hole and so on………
Of course, if we look to our neighbors, we just see the mistakes - and the world press can sell crime, terror or calamities much better as good or nice news.
Sometimes if is really funny, if I listen to some Europeans or Russians, many of them actually think, most of the Americans are armed trigger-happy cowboys, who shoot the whole day or play cards in saloons the whole night or the US gangsters, like Al Capone, Bonnie and Clyde and so on.
The reason is, we just remember to bad news - also from Russia, the Middle East or from Africa as well. And the movies - the popular Wild West movies bring a complete wrong image to Europe.
I think, this new era of informatic and communication gives us a very good chance to understand our brothers and sisters all over the globe much better as in the past.

Phil - yes, you are absolute right, it is actually not allowed to translate the Coran. Correct and good Muslims have to read the Coran in Arabian language only. On my trip to the Red Sea, as I met these Arabians, they told me, nowadays there are a high number of Muslims, in many non-arabian countries, who cant speak Arabian, so it became really necessary to translate the Coran. Mainly for children of islamic foreign workers, cause their descendents cant speak Arabian. But they said, every good adult Muslim has to learn the Arabian language, if he growed up off the Arabian states.
In the Arabian world are many different groups - some have advanced views, some believe in their old islamic tradition, some groups have aggressive views, some are peaceful and so on. Since one decade they have many religious controversiese all over the islamic world.
You certainly do have a good blog. I’ll admit that much. But how can you say that all the horrible things you say here are the right thing? You can’t say that all the things you say on here are the truth because God is fake and all you do is talk about how to spread God throughout society.
Well, what I should say is that god is not real to Me. I think it’s important for some people to have a figure to place faith in. I wasn’t really able to do that.
