Heavy Metal : Ultimate Decay of Morals

Is there music that is sicker than the so called “Heavy Metal” music? Heavy Metal basically consists of hateful lyrics that are screamed and wrapped into unbearable noise guitar and drum sounds. No notes, no sense, no human dignity.
In my new role as substitute teacher in my local high school i recently came across a boy with incredible anti-social behavior. After inquiring what could cause that kind of Ungodly behavior I noticed the music he listens to. Among others he had a CD from “Sentenced” in his backpack.
Oh my Lord. I don’t think I have never read worse lyrics. It’s simply appaling!

I urge you to contact your representative today and urge him or her to bring forward legislation to outlaw Heavy Metal music!
We can not allow this filthy bands to destroy our social fabric. They caused too much harm already. Timothy Mc’Veh listened to Heavy Metal and so did the shooters at Columbine. Enough is enough!!!

ROFL. I listen to alot of heavy metal and other genre of rock music.
While I agree there are anti-Christian music out there, not all heavy metal bands are anti-religion! Some have beautiful lyrics in them, telling beautiful stories. The Norweigian band, G?ɂĶTE incorporates Norwegian folk music into their compositions. The rock band P.O.D. are actually very Christian and not once have they sung about damning God.

hey guys, you’ve made very good points, but as i look over your comments i find myself mostly agreeing but also, i cant help but think you are proving some of her points by insulting her so much, i lvoe heavy metal, and i will love it to my dieing breath, but if we keep this up then we will only justify what religious fanatics and stereotypes think of us. lets not forget what the main point of metal is, the music, metal is about the music, we are all a aprt of heavy emtal, and i hope many of you are memebers of the world metal alliance. either way, i must admit, shelly you should not have posted this thread, it was a bad idea surely you were expecting a quick and harsh defense from all us metal heads, you looked at the lyrics for ‘one’ album from ‘one’ band, and that is completely unfair that you would judge us all by what you see through a crack in the door.
