Good American Christians and Patriots can not have helped but greet the news that ShelleyTheRepublican.com is in the running to win no fewer than two awards from the Blogger’s Choice organization with joy in their hearts.

True, they got the categories mixed up, but as Shelley already pointed out it’s all good publicity. And more publicity means more witnessing to more people, more souls saved and more votes for the right (in all senses of the word) candidate in 2008.It is with great grief in my heart therefore that I have to tell you that Satan and his meddling agents have become involved in this process and ruined what should have been a happier day:
Oh woe! How it grieves me to write it.

Strength my heart.
Help me Jesus.

I’ll be brief:

That once great American patriot Tristan Shuddery, exhausted after all the hard work and intellectual effort he has been putting into cracking the evil “Satan force” that he says lies at the bottom of all Linux coding, in a moment of unusual weakness, and under unprecedented pressure from the Evil One, dropped his guard long enough for a demon to enter his soul.

This demon first manifested itself with weasel words on this very website:

While every Christian should feel inspired to win at whatever we set our minds to, I?m not convinced that this is the sort of thing we should be supporting.

Firstly, they call us ?obnoxious? simply because we have the courage to stand up for Jesus, in a time where Satan Rules America. God?s love will always seem obnoxious to sinners.

Secondly, the bloggers-choice awards people do not discriminate on the basis of sexual and moral content of their nominations. Many of the other nominations contain pro-homosexual and liberal messages.

I call on all STR readers to BOYCOTT this awards site. Please do not vote for us - however I urge you to register for this site and leave a message of support and prayer for STR.com on their site, in the hope that the Holy Spirit inspires them to put us back into the Family blog category where we belong.

Yes, that’s a wrongheaded muddled comment and very out of character for a great intellectual like Mr Shuddery, but superficially, it seems rational enough. Soon, however, Tristan was raving and we knew what had really happened. He was, quite literally, like a man possessed. Ranting. Ranting, ranting, ranting. Almost like a liberal.

Ranting about lawyers. Ranting about money. Occasionally, when his true heart fought back, crying out for protection from the demon that had taken him. More often, leaving a trail of hate speech and destruction all over the web.

His mental and moral decline is all the more tragic when we consider what a Godly leader he once was:- For example in recent months Tristan was responsible for the loss of over $3.6m, in the form of an unwise investment in SCO group stock shortly before the company declared bankruptcy. These much-needed funds that will be surely missed, as we will have to work doubly-hard in order to raise the money which will guarantee another Republican Presidency in 2008.

That’s why, I have to tell you, with sorrow in my heart, that Tristan J Shuddery can no longer be considered a member of this organization.

We have already informed him that he has lost the use of his STR.com company car and not to bother trying to spend anything on his expense account. We also had to tell him that his wages have been frozen and because his recent ungodly actions violated clause 19.c.dx.V of his contract, his pension fund is to be reverted to our ministry.

Ted Haggard, a recent victim of Satan, came back. So can Tristan!
Even as I write this, we at Shelley The Republican wish to extend the olive-branch of forgiveness to Mr Shuddery. Pastor Bucks is willing to travel to Oklahoma and if Tristan is truly repentant will to meet with him and cast out his demons.

I have to tell you now, however, that reports from Tristan’s own pastor are not good. He has apparently been driven to raving insanity, laying down foul libels on Mrs Shelley Goodman’s good name and even to making obscene threats against the committee at the Blogger’s Choice Awards.

I urge all readers of this website who have enjoyed Tristan’s wisdom in the past to pray for him. Furthermore, please pay no attention at all to the scandalous accusations he has posted on a number of other blogs. Pray for his very soul. Pray that we do not have to add him to God’s hit-list. Pray that he comes back to the light of Jesus.

Tristan, if you’re reading this, and I know you are, please. Please. Come back to the light.
