An Important Note to Mr. Shuddery
Where do we begin dissecting the latest screed from former STR science & technology correspondent Tristan J. Shuddery. We were somewhat dismayed that our Brothers in Christ at Republican Faith saw fit to publish Mr Shuddery’s inappropriate words, however we are somewhat gratified that his “letter of resignation” has been removed.
It would be simple to conclude that the has lost his faculties, however only after a careful examination of his clumsily constructed rant do we actually see the full extent of his cretinization.
The other day my dear friend Vic Elaison from VCY ministries let me into his secret for a successful, Godly ministry: Truth, Honesty, Integrity - these are the things that flow from Biblical values. Unfortunately, in my previous role at Shelley Goodman?s STR Ministries I have to say that these uniquely Christian values are being denigrated and that is why after much prayer I have decided to tender my resignation:
To the best of our knowledge, and the knowledge of VCY, Tristan has never met Pastor Vic. It seems only natural that Tristan should start his letter as he intends to continue, by packing it full of lies.
Worse - Sam Johnson, one of Mrs Goodman?s cronies has published an entirely misguided rant which makes a catalog of incorrect and unfounded allegations against me. I am certain that the educated readers of this site will spot Mr Johnson?s empty rhetoric for what it is.
More nonsense - Sam Johnston’s article was a fine work of sober moderation and exactitude, unlike Mr Shuddery’s complaint which merely shotguns its targets with wildly-aimed insults, abuse and insinuation.
As the STR ministry grew, I could tell that the project was starting to lean a little more to the left. For example, a message from Mrs Goodman?s office once requested that I reduce the number of biblical quotations in one of my highly-regarded articles about the dangers of Linux - this I could live with, as I prayed daily for God to steer Shelley and her project back towards the family-values path that Jesus had ordained for us.
Once again, Tristasn’s comments are baseless - no such memo has ever existed, except for in Mr Shuddery’s imagination - indeed Shelley has frequently requested precisely the opposite - specifically that we should include more biblical references.
She feels that it is more important to chase popularity than to worship the Almighty with a pure heart. Unlike myself she feels that there s nothing wrong with allowing the Holy message of Jesus to be called ?Obnoxious?.
Tristan purports to know what Mrs Goodman thinks or feels. Had he taken the time to ask her - he would have found that this simply is not the case. Once again, Shuddery’s public display of emotion has been shown to be a misguided attempt at attention-seeking, and one with no doubt all STR readers can plainly see through.
We must insist that Mr Shuddery ceases his childish and boastful campaign of hatred against Mrs Goodman; should he continue down this unwise rotue, we may be forced to reveal exactly why he has been prevented from preaching at Shelley’s “Little Republicans” kid’s camp. We wish to remind Mr Shuddery that we are not a Catholic organization, and such things will not be tolerated.
The STR.com board are greatly saddened by the shameful manner in which Mr Shuddery has decided to dismiss himself, nevertheless, in the spirit of Christian forgiveness we wish him well.
Newton Wilcox,
STR Enterprises General Council
