Would you risk American lives on an ‘Estimate’?

This week the liberal moonbat-ocrats are would like us to believe that they were right about Iran. According to a heavily partisan federal intelligence estimate Iran just might have given up their evil plans to build an atomic-bomb? Big freaking deal.

I want to draw your attention to a single word: Estimate

An estimate is what you do when you do not know the facts. It’s a word you use when you want to make it clear that you don’t really know for sure. Would you really want to risk America’s defence on a mere estimate? Of course not.

0_21_bush_prayer.jpg

George W. Bush, he’s too smart to risk America’s safety on a mere estimate. He’s got a gut feeling that the Iranians are up to something, and he’s going to kick some towel-head butt.

Now let’s just suppose that there’s some truth to this estimate: We all know that the Iranians are some of the world’s most evil people. This would be the perfect time to strike first and primitively and permanently remove their ability to develop atomic weapons. Only a liberal would suggest that we should wait until Iran has nukes before we attack them?

iranpres220806_228x273.jpg

Iran’s mastermind of evil: How long are we going to let him get away with it?

We at STR wish to make a plea for common sense: The only sensible thing to do at a time like this is to stay the course in Iran. We need to show the Islamofascists that we are not fooled by their pretense at non-violence.

STR supports American Patriots for Justice and Liberation in Iran: This grass-roots activism group understands that the Iranian people will only be free once we move in and shut down their evil government.

We need to aggressively strike in the name of peace, and that means reigeme change in Iran… NOW.

Oh yeah, he didn’t at all guess about WMD. Not at all, he was proven wrong, hence the sad look in the picture.

Since when are “liberating” and “bombing the living fuck out of” synonymous phrases?

Too many liberal traitors in the CIA. “Estimate” is right. Good catch, Jimmy. You are obviously a very smart foreign policy expert.

You call yourself a Republican and yet you don’t support the CIA, a government regulated (AKA Bush controlled) organization. Wow, you have a *lot* of faith in your own Government. *sarcasm*.

@Journy to the Truth-san, uhm, okay……….. Whatever you say pal…..

Nonsense, I’m merely reporting on the obvious fact that it’s a sad day when the President’s staff are forced to remind the intelligence agencies how to do their job. There’s no way that this President is going to drop the ball on the Iran issue.

I say better safe than sorry - we should start our war on Iran immediately just in case this ‘Estimate’ is wrong. How can we risk not going to war when our enemies the Iranians might just have deadly nuclear weapons.

“Only a liberal would suggest that we should wait until Iran has nukes before we attack them?”
I beleive what you are actually doing is attacking, invading, and forcing your culture on another with no valid justification. You are attacking a country for no reason!

  8. Sedgewick Hunsaker December 7th, 2007 12:16 pm

Our president gets his information from a higher authority than United Nation wusses or any other commie influenced bozos. It is God himself who gives the final word to our president and tells him who has nuclear weapons and who is hiding them and who needs to get bombed back to the stone age. It is not our job to question his decisions. With men of integrity like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney as leaders of the free world we have nothing to fear. If they want to bomb Iraq or Iran well that is good enough for me. Praise Jesus!

  9. Gyro December 7th, 2007 12:42 pm

Thats funny, Sedgewick Husaker. If a man claims he is being spoken to by an entity, he gets a padded cell and a straightjacket. If he calls that entity “God,” he gets a large church congragation, a TV show, a million-dollar book deal, sposors, and maybe even the Presidency of the United States.

  10. That Dude December 7th, 2007 2:13 pm

Since when is a “gut feeling” something more fitting to risk lives over than an “estimate?”

At least an “estimate” has empirical grounding.

And it’s not an outright lie like WMD’s in Iraq, which has cost over 3000 American’s their lives.

I’d say, compared to the ravings of a lunatic who thinks God would actually talk to someone like him, or the devious lies of a would-be dictator, an estimate looks pretty good.

“According to a heavily partisan federal intelligence estimate Iran just might have given up their evil plans to build an atomic-bomb?”
-According to where Bush’s dart hit the board Iran was the next country to have “WMD’s”…

“An estimate is what you do when you do not know the facts.”
-Oh, so you guys aren’t going to be calling it an ‘STR Quick-Fact’ anymore?

“He?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s got a gut feeling that the Iranians are up to something”
-A gut feeling… why that’s just a *great* reason for people to die needless deaths *cough* *cough*

“We all know that the Iranians are some of the world?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s most evil people”
-Hey look! An ‘STR Quick-Fac- Ooh, sorry, I mean an estimate!

“This would be the perfect time to strike first and primitively and permanently remove their ability to develop atomic weapons”
-…because the US isn’t in enough debt.
    OR
…because the world isn’t pissed enough at the US.

“Only a liberal would suggest that we should wait until Iran has nukes before we attack them?”
-’only a republican would suggest we kill innocents because they *might* develop a weapon the republican’s country already has?’

“STR supports American Patriots for Justice and Liberation in Iran”
-The words Justice and Liberation have become hollow when spoken by American patriots… Justice is invading a country to settle an old Vendetta. Liberation is bombing civilian targets.

“We need to aggressively strike in the name of peace”
    -Oxymoron alert.

“It is not our job to question his decisions.”
-Uh, actually, it is… it’s your moral duty to question your leaders *especially* when they’re repeating actions that were *highly* unfavourable in the past.

“which has cost over 3000 American?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s their lives.”
-EXACTLY my point… This war has cost lives on *both* sides and for what?! And now STR wants to see us march back into that?

I think the US is proving itself to be a powerful and easily agitated aggressor on the global playing field. Perhaps it’s time they were told to disarm, as they seem to be dropping all the bombs… No offense to my more peaceful fun loving American friends, but your country scares me.

if your gonna attack a country for no other reason than some concept of what you think a God wants you to do… then damn it.. keep your God. America has no right to force its views or requirements on others…

I dont like Iran, Britain or anyone else having nuclear weapons…. but if America expects to deny countrys then it should do the same and dismantle… America is no nanny state… its more like a big baby needing to grow up and learn to talk.

“I say better safe than sorry - we should start our war on Iran immediately just in case this ?¢‚ǨÀúEstimate?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ is wrong.”

Okay, lets say this “estimate” is a 50 50 chance even, 50 percent they have WMD, and 50 percent that a move in Iran turns up nothing and starts WW3. Yeah, great gamble. You’ve put the US on the spot here, it’s your fault if any of this turns out bad.

Good thing that it?Ǭ¥s not an estimate but a fact with hard data speaking for it and nothing but paranoia speaking against…

“George W. Bush, he?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s too smart to risk America?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s safety on a mere estimate. He?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s got a gut feeling that the Iranians are up to something, and he?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s going to kick some towel-head butt.”

Yeah, riiiiight. Get down from that high horse. Even the Pentagon says invading Iran?Ǭ¥s not an option. And those are the guys that must know.

“Now let?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s just suppose that there?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s some truth to this estimate: We all know that the Iranians are some of the world?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s most evil people.”

Compared to rabid, fanatical wreckpublicans, they?Ǭ¥re about as bad as boyscouts.

“This would be the perfect time to strike first and primitively and permanently remove their ability to develop atomic weapons. Only a liberal would suggest that we should wait until Iran has nukes before we attack them?”

Ahh, the good ol?Ǭ¥ “we have no reason to attack them, so let?Ǭ¥s do it anyway” aproach. Won?Ǭ¥t cause any problems, but only create new. Besides, this time the coalition of the willing would be awefully small. Hell, there might be even quite a few countries helping Iran.

“We at STR wish to make a plea for common sense: The only sensible thing to do at a time like this is to stay the course in Iran. We need to show the Islamofascists that we are not fooled by their pretense at non-violence.”

Good thing. The present course after all is “leave them alone”.

PS: HAHA! Bush got owned by his own intelligence agencies. HAHA!

“I say better safe than sorry - we should start our war on Iran immediately just in case this ?¢‚ǨÀúEstimate?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ is wrong. How can we risk not going to war when our enemies the Iranians might just have deadly nuclear weapons.”

Because only cowards would be so afraid of it to get to war because of it.

Our president gets his information from a higher authority than United Nation wusses or any other commie influenced bozos. It is God himself who gives the final word to our president and tells him who has nuclear weapons and who is hiding them and who needs to get bombed back to the stone age. If they want to bomb Iraq or Iran well that is good enough for me. Praise Jesus!”

Of course, the whole world should just take the same reasons, allow their governments to get nukes and to decide to nuke the USA back into the stone age. Can?Ǭ¥t make any exceptions here, after all.

Sigh, when will those yankees ever learn that in the modern world, doing things on your own leads to nothing. And when will they learn that terrorism can?Ǭ¥t be fought with bombs and bullets? The only real weapon of terrorism is fear. And by even becoming more fearful, the americans are actually helping bin Laden and his cronies.

Oh well, I think it?Ǭ¥s simply their lack of experience. We here in europe had our experiences with terrorism in the late 20th century and have learned how to handle it. Seems like the US have still to learn these lessons.

The hypocrisy of the US is simply staggering. It was the US that made Al Queada in order to beat the invading Russians in order to “Stop the flow of communism”. Incredible how the US’s decisions always come back to bit it in the ass later.

Why don`t we learn from history? The crisis and troubles with Iran are old, very old. It began in the early 50ies, as the late iranian president Mossadegh tried to control the British Oil. Therefore the CIA overthrowed him and the (american-friendly) Shah became president till 1979, the Shah had to flee and Khomeini became the new president of Iran. The difficult troubles with Iran began, especially as militant islamic students captured the US embassy and held 63 US citizens for the next 444 days. The CIA tried to overthrow Khomeini again, but without success. President J.Carter and later R.Reagan targeted to attack this Mullah Regime, but they didn`t. Because Iraq (Saddam) was in war with Iran and the USA supported Saddam with weapons. Saddam was an allie of the States in the 80ies. As Saddam conquerd Kuweit, Saddam became an enemy of the States.
For many decades the situation in the islamic Middle East is so complicated, so difficult sometimes. Basically I believe in the secret service, they make a good job, in the past and now.
I am pretty sure, there are no traitors in the Intelligent Agancy. I know the US secret service well, most of them are patriotic republicans. Cause it is pretty hard to become an American Secret Warrior. All the high ranking CIA officers are totally patriots, in the past and now and especially under W.Bush. But they are intelligent! That means, they know a bit more than we. I know some of them and I trust in their investigations.
I can understand them very well, the big problem is, if the States will attack Iran now, Russia and China will help Iran for sure (this is a fakt) and this can become an endless war, like Vietnam. Such wars are expensive and its unsure, if the USA will win. Cause Russia and China has money and weapons and they will support Iran in secret.
I am over 50 years old and I remember to the war in Vietnam very well - and this was an endless war. After more than 10 years the US Army and his allies had to leave Vietnam and the last soldiers left Saigon by helicopter in spring 1975. (I will never forget this situation - they had to leave, cause the Vietcong occupited the whole country and the US Army had no chance). The States spent billions of Dollars for Vietnam and this war, for nothing! CIA officers said, we could loose this war a bit cheaper.

For many decades the USA want to attack Iran - but they didn`t, not in the 50ies, in the late 70ies, in the 80ies and not in the 90ies.
The USA and his allies is watching Iran all the time. If they will make an atomic bomb, we will know it immediatelly. They cannot build it in secret. Israel did in secret, but the USA saved Israel - therefore they were able to make this kind of bombs. But Iran isn`t able to make it and a war with Iran - this is an old story.

Wow … why the hell did you use that picture of Bush? Why is he making that face. Is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sticking his finger up Bush’s ass? Is that a look of displeasure or is he really enjoying it?

    Jimmy G., you wrote:
“Say better safe than sorry - we should start our war on Iran immediately just in case this ?¢‚ǨÀúEstimate?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ is wrong. How can we risk not going to war when our enemies the Iranians might just have deadly nuclear weapons.”
Of course, I can understand you - but on the other hand, do you remember as the Soviet Union built their first a-bomb? The USA was the first nation, who had nuclear bombs, it was in the mid 40ies. Nobody in the States believed, the Soviet Union will get a-bombs too. Just a couple of years later, at the end of the 40ies, the CIA figured out, the USSR (Stalin was still alive) has actually nuclear bombs. The CIA noticed, it was easy to find out, because it is impossible to make an a-bomb in secret. CIA flights checked higher nuclear radiations over Kamtschatka (Eastern USSR). This was the first evidence for nuclear weapons outside the States. The USA got a nasty shock! The Cold War began…and finally ended 1990.
Now, 50 years later it is easy to find out nuclear weapons by secret flights, the technology became much better. And you know for sure, in the year 1979 as Khomeini became president of Iran and as the US Embassy in Teheran got captured for 444 days, the States (President J.Carter and later R.Reagan) targeted to attack this Mullah Regime in Iran. I remember very well, everybody all over the globe believed, the USA will attack Iran for sure. Nothing happend! Even in the 50ies, the USA was talking about a war with Iran. Russia and China will support Iran with weapons, this is a fact! This will be the same kind of proxy war like the war in Vietnam was and a proxy war is expensive, cause it is endless. Maybe this is the reason, why the States wait…….I don`t know, but I think so.

You’re saying that it’s preposterous to act on an estimate…

But at the same time you are convinced that we should act on a “gut feeling”.

That’s like saying: Hey, I estimate that a random person on the street has no harmful intentions towards me because he doesn’t know me, he is likely unarmed and probably has other things to do BUT I have a gut feeling that he’s up to something because he looks like a shady character, PERHAPS I SHOULD SHOOT HIM JUST IN CASE.

  26. Billy Bob Bush XVII December 17th, 2007 11:09 pm

The funny thing is that you lieberals will all keep saying “Iran’s OK, look, Mr Dinnerjacket’s a nice guy, and he hates America, which means he must be OK, and he won’t really use those nukes, because he’s so nice”.

You’ll keep repeating that, right up to the point where he nukes Manhattan. Then you’ll wail and scream that we must have caused this, because we are so horrible that we made them hate us so much. In order to atone for our sins, you’ll offer that they come here and close our churches, and behead 50,000 Christians. You’ll then offer that they run the country, and that the remaining Americans pay them money to be left alive and to live in servitude.

Lieberals are nothing but self-loathing weirdos. Their secret goal is to be dominated by inferior peoples, because they loathe themselves, and by extension, America. That’s why it’s so dangerous to listen to them.

Mr Dinner Jacket clearly wants to nuke Manhattan. It’s obvious. He hates Jews, and wants to kill them all (read between the lines, “should be wiped of the map” is code for “kill them all”), and he hates America and capitalism. What better place to nuke than Manhattan? He’d kill lots of Jews, lots of Americans, and lots of capitalists.

It is up to the true patriots to resist the lieberals, for our own, and even for their good. We need to kick the ass of those who would destroy us, those ungodly madmen seeking a global caliphate.

The problem with lieberals, is because they were raised on a mental diet of anti-American fantasy, they never actually realize that there are people out there seeking to destroy them. They think that the only evil in the world is the US government.

I pray that the lieberals never discover their error the hard way; it seems that clueless lieberals are a side effect of the freedom maintained by brave God fearing men.

Do you always read between the lines? You look at the wrong meaning of everything. Don’t you see your as bad if not worse then him by saying the exact same thing only replacing one word, Instead of “Nuke The Unided States” (despite the fact that he never did say that) you keep saying “Nuke Iran.”
