The Brownback-lash

A few weeks ago I predicted that some of the word’s most strident Sam Brownback supporters would change their allegiance to Mike Huckabee ? what I did not predict was that Sam’s campaigners and grass-roots organizers would so seamlessly cross-over to Mike’s team.

Mike has the courage to stand up for his beliefs and the persecuted majority of American citizens. Take a look at this video from the recent CNN debate where he is the only one willing to use his valuable debate time to witness for God.

Take a look at Blogs4Huckabee ? only a month ago the (excellent) writers of this blog were busy raising funds and awareness for Sam Brownback. Today, Senator Sam might be nothing more than a foot-note in Presidential history as the American mainstream rallies behind Mike Huckabee.

It seems entirely appropriate that all this is happening at Christmas ? the time when America celebrates the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. I think America has realized that the Christmas present we all want is a leader who is willing to make God’s law the law of our land. God’s gift to us all might be a pro-life, pro-family leader who will defend our values and our faith.

Can I get an Amen?

“I think America has realized that the Christmas present we all want is a leader who is willing to make God?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s law the law of our land.”
–well i don’t know about anyone else, but surely is not what i want. last thing we need is lynchings because certain people are not christian.

“God?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s gift to us all might be a pro-life, pro-family leader who will defend our values and our faith.”
–the keyword in that sentance is might. i hope thats where it will stay

    “Can I get an Amen?”

sorry for the double post, but you know the vote for a president poll you have? mike hukabee is at 3% where as george bush is at 14%. i haven’t kept up with whats going on, but this says to me not too many people like hukabee that much

Amen and praise the Lord! Amen and praise the lord!

I find your comments about the poll perplexing Raaine. While I personally am disappointed that more patriots haven’t voted for Our President, I still concede that Mick Huckabee is doing far better than him on the results I read.
Once again, you are proving that liberals can not understand the most simple statistics.

Apparently Sisyphus, one of the writers at Blogs 4 Brownback, had a vision and God told him to support Huckabee. The vision was pretty incredible to read about. Quite frightening what the world will be like in 2011 if the DemocRATs win.

Churches were draped in gasoline-soaked American flags, then set afire. Terrorists roamed the streets in jeeps, shooting anyone who wore a crucifix or made the Sign of the Cross. The Democrat Party had a special torture center for Americans who dared to vote their conscience, which they let Al Qaeda run for them.

And that’s just a sample. I think such an experience would convince anyone to support Mike Huckabee.

@Richard23, Why is it that after the US lost the Vietnam War,Nixon resigned after Watergate and Jerry Ford lost to Democrat Jimmy Carter,we’re not all speaking Vietnamese and worshipping Ho Chi Minh?

What does that non-sequitur have to do with anything in the post or this comment thread, Abby? You’re one messed up America hating chick.

  9. Lance Johnson December 28th, 2007 11:14 pm

While it may seem like a non-sequitur, Abbie’s question makes sense if you compare the situation she mentioned to the situation in Iraq. Richard, she’s calling you out on your support of the idea that America is fucked if a Democrat gets elected in ‘08.

Jeez, some people need every little detail spelled out for them…

@Lance, I’m male! My nick is a pun! Abbie Hoffman + Andy Kaufman = Abbie Kaufman! My point isn’t that Democrat neo-liberals like Hillary the war mongering Bitch can’t fuck up this country as bad or worse than Republican neo-conmen warmonger fascists like Spurious George has,my point is that the “vision” is fucking idiotic! Larger than life cartoon bogeymen from backwards nations won’t be taking over the USA even with help from Hillary and the Democrats which makes no goddamned sense at all except in the paranoid delusions of neo-conned racist simpletons! Anyone who seriously believes that “vision” BULLSHIT is a MORON!!! I love America but I hate the high level corruption and tyranny in the two-party system that’s trashing our freedoms allegedly “to make us safe” and I strongly dislike their sheep-like stooges who aid and abet them out of sheer ignorance! Wake the hell up! We’re losing our liberties due to elitist control freaks in charge and it’s by a bi-partisan agenda!

    Sorry, Abbie…didn’t mean any offense.

  13. Sam Johnston December 29th, 2007 7:19 am

What’s hard to understand about that point Raaine Alexei? When I checked the poll Huckabee was coming in a comfortable second.

  14. Raaine Alexei December 29th, 2007 7:23 am

funny that in less than a day, nearly 1,000 more votes come in for huckabee. that poll has been there for months and when i looked at it yesterday he was at 3%. now hes at 27%. i sense major shenanigans

  15. Sam Johnston December 29th, 2007 7:36 am

Your excuses are just pathetic Raaine. ~~You failed to understand the poll and now you are back-pedalling furiously.

All I can say is that God clearly wants the results to be as they are.

    Don’t deny Him!

@Lance, No offense taken, the gender confusion is a minor annoyance at worst. The nick was one I made up for use here and bears little resemblence to my real name. I was actually venting my spleen about the post-9/11 hysteria about the Islamic and Arab world which is a far less credible threat than the Axis Powers of World War 2 or the old Soviet Union! And the USSR collapsed without having a war! If this country degenerates into a brutal police state,(Or should I say when it does!)it won’t be because Nazis,Russian invaders or “Islamo-fascists” took over,it will be due to tyrannical government passing repressive legislation to supposedly make us “safe” from exaggerated threats or false-flag “terrorists”,foreign or domestic!

Hi - Maybe I am wrong, but I can hardly believe, a democratic president will win the next election. The reason behind is, if you go back in history of the States, you will figure out, over 200 years goverments are changing, you had a couple of years a republican goverment, after you had a couple of years Democrats and so on. A welcome change could be good for the States now. No joke! No, I am not a Liberal or Democrat, but it is important to give other big parties a chance to rule, it makes sence. If Democrats will make mistakes, they will loose voters and supporters, this is the worst publicity for them. (old story!) If Republicans will win again, the Democratic voters are getting more, they become more aggressive in their opinion and behavior against Republicans. A free nation like the USA is, was built by different parties over 2 centuries - this is a fact! However, you have also many intelligent Democrats right now, who love and support the USA, the citizens and the church as well. For instance the CIA, since their foundation in 1947, the Intelligent Agency has by 50% Republicans and by 50% Democrats, in the past and now - an equal balance is important for a successful nation or company. “Don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t deny Him!”
–i will deny and god as much as i please. Being is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value. there is no reasonable proof of the existence of a higher ruler or creator. A “true morality” does not exist. Objective secular ethics are impossible; therefore, life has, in a sense, no truth, and no action is objectively preferable to any other.
