STR Meet-Up - Westboro Baptist Church Plans To Picket Heath Ledger Funeral

Folks there’s been some sensible comments from Rev. Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church regarding ‘Brokeback Mountain‘ star Heath Ledger’s recent demise.? Phelps has come under undue?criticism for denouncing our unfortunate fallen servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan but, it’s a fact that Heath Ledger was a homo and had no problem trying to “normalize”?anal sex per the Homosexual Agenda’s plan to pervert our children.

Rev. Phelps may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but his persistence in pointing out how we are all born evil and drenched in Sin and must repent or burn for eternity, is a heartwarming, positive and uplifting message that should be repeated at every school, church and dinner table in America. Else we’ll all burn in Hell forever.

Westboro Baptist Church represents the best of what Kansas has to offer this country, and has listed their phone number (785) 273-0325, as well as being available through their popular website godhatesfags.com so feel free to contact them with your words of support and monetary donations. STR’s readership is encouraged to head down to the Heath Ledger funeral as well and voice your support for the Westboro Baptist Church’s right to hold an opinion. It is not often you get to exercise your constitutional rights in regards to freedom of expression, and you should thank Jesus you have been given such a wonderful opportunity through the death of a torrid, flaming homosexual.

Always Right,

Great work Charles - it’s vital that we encourage our readers to extend our love to True Patriots like Phelps. He takes a lot of flack for the good work he does - someday America will thank him.

Actually, Heath Ledger is not a homosexual.

Beyond the otherwise shocking “truth” mr. Phelps provides, his picketing is a thorn in my eye. He evokes hatred and causes pain to those that disagree to his beliefs. Some say the WBC is the only real Christian church left, and I think that’s a good thing in several ways.

always right please tell me your joking about that. and i apologize ahead of time if i offend str. that is the most cold hearted thing i have ever read. i mean his family will be there for goodness sakes think of their feelings do you str people even have a heart or a conscience? don’t do that to his family please have a heart and not picket his funeral. i cannot believe you would that to his family. like i said str i don’t mean to offend you but please have some compassion. :-(

I am so glad he is dead. I hope he had to suffer.. a lot of pain and then suffocation on his own stinking, hot vomit! He burns in hell now!

He might not have been a fag (as if I care) but he simulated gay anal sex in his movie “Brokefag Mountain” and that is not excusable.

I will find his grave and pit on him!

    Jimmy,

it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s vital that we encourage our readers to extend our love to True Patriots like Phelps.

Hmm, so you call Phelps a patriot. Let’s see what this ‘patriot’ has to say about the USA then, shall we?

    From http://www.godhatesamerica.com:

“It is plain to the servants of God, that America is taking a blood bath in Iraq because America is busily persecuting WBC for preaching the Word of God to this evil nation of perverts. God hates America.”

“That’s right, America!! It is too late to pray for the good of the USA!! America chose to spit in the face of their Creator, instead of heeding WBC’s warnings, and now it is too late to pray for this nation. ”

“George W. Bush has been suckered into a bloody war that God is using to punish this filthy nation, and your children are being blown to smithereens as that punishment. Bloody Butcher Bush thinks that he can distract from this fact with tall tales about freedom and horror stories of terrorism that could be. It has to happen in order for America to become Babylon and the Last Days to come. Deal with it, America!! You are doomed!”

    Well, that sounds very patriotic…

    Greetings from liberal Holland,
    Thomas van der Meer

PS. Though I agree with Phelps on one thing: Bush IS a bloody butcher.

    @sara “…please have some compassion. :-(”

STR tries to put the ‘compassion’ back into ‘compassionate conservative’. Think of it as tough love! So you won’t be coming?

    To Mrs. Goodman
To that logic any actor that has commited any sin on the screen will also have to burn in hell.

    Den

  10. Just me January 30th, 2008 4:50 am

Now Den, if that is true then it’s interesting.. Ronald Reagan (who STR seem to love, I’ll admit he seemed a nice man the one time I met him) obviously had a fairly long film career. His last film was “The Killers” in 1964. He played a criminal who planned an armoured car heist and then hired two hit men to take someone out, which they do.

Therefore he is by your logic (unfortunately, as I said, he was a nice man, although I did disagree with him in a lot of ways) burning in the pit as we speak.

  11. William Milton January 30th, 2008 9:01 am

Still using the tragic death of Heath Ledger in your weak excuse for “satire”! You’re almost as sick and twisted as the Westboro Baptist Church that you “satirize”! Grow up and learn how to do real comedy instead of milking recent senseless celebrity deaths for cheap laughs! It’s not remotely funny,it’s tasteless and childish!

  12. den282 January 30th, 2008 11:01 am

That is excatlly the point i am makeing, it is illogical for a man to burn in hell for a sin that he did not commit. A man should be measured by what he did in life not want he did on the screen.

    Den

  13. Jer Snider January 30th, 2008 3:13 pm

I cannot believe you people. Picketing at a funeral. You people are pathetic. Heath Ledger was a good man. It’s people like you that give this country a dispicable reputation. Piss Off!

I hope this website gets shut down

If anyone deserves to “burn” in “hell”, its people like you.

I know and believe that “GOD” hates the haters.

You people are so foolish and shameful.

  14. Jenny January 30th, 2008 8:08 pm

IT’S A MOVIE YOU TARD… He is not a homosexual in real life… He was engaged to a beautiful actress and had a beautiful daughter.

  15. Jenny January 30th, 2008 8:09 pm

And I totally agree with Jer Snider!!

  16. Proud German January 31st, 2008 1:17 pm

Good thing we here over the pond don?Ǭ¥t have such morons. If I?Ǭ¥d ever see someone pulling such a stunt at a funeral here in Germany, he?Ǭ¥d have an appointment with a judge. After getting a lot of trouble from the people on said funeral. Sticking to your freedom of religion is one thing, but that freedom ends at the freedom of another human.

Ok this is damned funny, STR are praising the WBC, but STR are very pro-America while the WBC is extremly anti-america as evident by one of their other websites godhatesamerica.com

  18. Hayley February 9th, 2008 8:13 pm

You do realise that Heath Ledger was an amazing actor and will forever be remembered in all the goos work he has done. It is very unfortunate that he died so young and in such tragic circumstances but he has done no wrong whatsoever!
May Heath rest in peace and may his family be spared your sick and twisted ideas at such a hard time in their lives! You’re sick, wanting to picket a funeral…
I’d love to know what mark you’ve made on the world apart from bullshit hatred!
Also have you noticed that the only blogs that ever seem to get comments are actually defending what crap is being written? I don’t see much support for you and your sick little world.
I’m done with this now and i’ll think of Heath Ledger as the actor in the movies i loved and who left a mark on the world who admired and respected him.

  19. Sara Carter February 10th, 2008 2:54 pm

i’ll tell you what shelley me and the others who post here will picket your funeral how does that sound shelley? you are the most unfeeling and cold hearted woman i have ever seen you vile disgusting racist bitch. so do me and a all the awesome people who hate you and jump off a god damn bridge you vile, venomous, skanky, street walking, slut bag, vile stinking prostitute. you know shelley what goes around comes around the things you say and do will bite you right in your big fat ass and i hope it does. i hope you rot in hell bitch.

Fuck You Str And To ShelleyThe Slut bag Bitch. Kiss My Mother Ficking ass Str You son of fucking bitch.

  20. Michael Brown May 13th, 2008 7:37 pm

That’s absolute discrase. Heath Ledger was an actor, that was the character, not him. It’s utterly scandelous to even think about doing that at a person’s funeral, aren’t his family and friends allowed to grieve in peace without disgusting people slating him for his choice of roles?

So much for the tolerance that Christ preached, fallen on deaf ears hasn’t it? If you are going to say that anyone deserves to have their funeral picketed, I hope it happens to you, “an eye for an eye” perhaps a bible command you’ll understand better, as the ones about compassion don’t seem to be getting through.

  21. Sara Carter May 14th, 2008 7:00 am

@Michael Brown amen to that well said brother.

and apparently there so damn cold hearted that they’ve killed their conscience and don’t care about the family’s wishes and feeling.

  22. Clark May 19th, 2008 8:12 am

Heath Ledger was an actor. His performance in Brokeback Mountain was a result of him being handed a role by someone that created it. He was simply the medium between the audience and the creator. I don’t believe God holds people like you higher. Heath was a human being like all of us and it is people like you who will burn in hell for wishing such a fate upon an innocent person

  23. Clark May 19th, 2008 8:13 am

and not to be rude but this would only happen in america, you are the best race at hating

  24. William Milton May 19th, 2008 7:55 pm

@Clark, The STR crew is a bad taste “comedy” act pretending to be Republican ultra-flag waving hate-filled fundamentalist morons! Westboro Baptist are fundamentalist kooks that hate America, therefore they wouldn’t associate with ultra-flag wavers, real or fake! Heath Ledger’s funeral was privately held in a location unknown to the public in Australia, therefore it couldn’t be picketed by anyone! And America is made up of many races that don’t all hate!

  25. Jim Trebowski May 21st, 2008 9:48 pm

It is obvious that both STR, Westboro, and Ann Coulter are Liberals making fun of conservative ideology. Get a clue people…no one can be that stupid. And I don’t think it’s “bad taste”. It’s just sad that some people actually fall for it.

  26. William Milton May 22nd, 2008 12:34 am

@Jim Trebowski, Westboro is a very real “Christian” fundamentalist group of hate-filled intolerant nut cases! And Ann Coulter is a seriously demented neo-con loudmouth! You are right about STR though. Except for your claim that STR isn’t in bad taste. Comedy is tragedy plus time. Using a recent senseless tragedy for laughs isn’t comedy,it’s sick, sophomoric and unfunny!
