Hi - to this video clip - I want to tell you a little story:
Met a lot of Vietnam Vets in Greece in the late 70ies - some became hippies after war and lived on the island of Crete (Mediterranean).
They told me very much interesting stories - they said to me, you change your mind and character suddenly in war. They told me, before they arrived in Vietnam, they heared about such stories of cruelty to animals, scalping people and so on. GIs cut ears off or pulled teeth on killed Vietcongs. At home they thought, it is too exaggerated - nobody of us is doing such things - but as they came to Vietnam and had all all these combats and deadly perils every day - it changed their mind and their characters. They told me, drugs were common, cheap and easy to obtain in Indochina. A lot used drugs - smoked pot or opium and some used even heroin. Back home a lot of them were drug addicted - became hippies and went to the Mediterraean or to India (the old hippie meeting-points of the 70ies).
In the 70ies I was in Crete too and some Vietnam Vets told me, cruelty to animals was not uncommon. Never they would do the same at home. The daily combat - and all this daily stress to survive - this change people suddenly.
To this video clip - this is also known as the “combat stress reaction” or a mental blackout. This dog is actually harmless and this dog is alive (you can hear it whimper) - but I know from veterans, this is the result of the daily stress to survive. Some get depressed - some use drugs or some get agressive.
This is an old story - psychologists know this syndrome since WW1 - Vietnam Vets told me a lot about it.
Some told me, back home they get depressed, cause they did things, they would never do at home. Therefore a lot of them became pacifists or anti war protester. - Peter Vienna.

We both don?Ǭ¥t know wether there was a settlement or a city nearby. The presence of armed force indicate that, though, as soldiers on peace keeping duty are normally not stationed in the middle of nowhere. And even then, anyone but a really sick person would have taken the puppy with them and handed them over at the next town or something the like, not kiled it.

I have to set you all straight. Animals can’t feel anything. They can’t think, they don’t have a soul, they are things just like a table or a plant.
There are easy ways to prove it. Beat a dog and kick it every time you see it and it will do whatever you want it to do. There is no real thinking. It just responds. If you don’t want it to lick it’s genitals because it’s against the laws of the bible you kick it in the nuts as hard as you can and it will stop. Guaranteed.
We have many cats on our farm and I roll over some of them from time to time. Some cats just have a crushed leg and live on some time after that. They don’t have any real pain. They just look the same. They try to come closer and want food. So what, I either stomp them to death or just pick them up and put them in the trashcan. Another proof that animals can’t think is that they stand in your way all the time. You can talk to them as long as you want: “Get out of my way, Kitty, I need to go through..”. They just don’t get it. What you should do is to kick them out of your way as hard as you can. Most likely it will suffer some broken ribs but it’s the only way it remembers to stay away from you. It’s not real thinking, it’s responding to outside influence.
Animals have no real value if they are sick or disobedient. That is why I like to eat meat. It’s healthy and it’s what God wants us to do.
