Your analogy doesn’t make sense Billy. If your soldiers hadn’t been in Iraq it does not automatically imply that Al Quaida would be running rampant across America. Far from that: Your presence in Iraq has probably made the world less safe, hence all the newly fueled anti-Americanism.
Furthermore, I don’t think it’s possible for Al Quaida to kill puppies (among other things) like you said, because it’s perfectly clear your soldiers are allready doing that themselves (see the entry a few weeks ago).
And last but not least: Congratulations, I didn’t think it was possible for you to look any more like an indoctrinated redneck, but that beard definitely dit it.

I myself don’t find 4000 the number itself bad, but it does symbolize the number of troops we lost. 4000 itself is just that, a number like 666, doesn’t mean shit to me. The US needs to learn that it can’t win these kinds of wars, the end is going to be the exact same as Vietnam since it’s exactly the same situation just different names, instead of the Vietcong it’s Al Queada. Instead of Vietnam it’s Iraq. And it’s just as pointless a reason. The US is getting its ass kicked by a country with no standing army or even a national defense force and you need to pull your head out of your ass in order to see it damned Neo Con. I heard a first hand account from two solders that said that if the US keeps going at it like this, it will drag the Military into the ground. We still have troops in freaking Vietnam, only 30 years after the war, meh. We’ve lost more people in this war than where Killed in 9/11 and over 300,000 Iraqis had the war never taken place. All this aside from the fact that the war is driving out economy into the ground. Because the US is so far in debt, the dollar is also dying. I could be hauled off to China in chains with a number burned into my forehead tonight because the US owes so much to China.

It won’t go at that pace, but still it is sadly ironic to see that Bush has somehow up to a certain point managed to put the fate of the US economy into the hands of -essentially- a bunch of communists.
Translation for the Ignorant Rednecks (pay attention Billy!): Communists are those people you’ve been despising for some 40 years, waged some unsuccesfull wars against, and whom you as the true redneck you are have probably never seen in your life. Point of the story: Don’t blindly follow anything Republican just because it’s a Republican and start using your own brain, as far as you’re capable to do so.
