Friends,
what does it take to live in a free and proud nation. What are the sacrifices we have to make in our daily lives? How many soldiers have to die to make us free and ensure peace on earth? Only God knows the answer to these questions. All I know we ain’t there yet.
While men are dying on the battlefield, woman have to carry the burden of taking care of the children on their own. I consider this an honor. Dying for freedom is an honor as well as giving a loved one for the cause of freedom and peace.
America is the last remaining superpower on Earth. Why? Because only Americans are willing to do what it takes to ensure our superiority.
Most soldiers support the Leaders war on terror. They know best what we are fighting for. They have stared evil in it’s dirty face. They have seen terror up close, so we don’t have to. Every single soldier serving in Iraq is a Hero in the truest sense of the word. Jesus in fighting on their side and is kicking terrorist ass every single day.
And right he is. This is to all dirty, stinking Ragheads: If you mess with the USA you will suffer the consequences. We will hunt you down and we will kill you. Back down as long as you have the chance to do so!
If you take the time and talk to families of those killed in Iraq you will hear sentences like: “It was worth it” and “He died for America” and “He made us proud” and “We have no regrets”. Liberals often make up lies about war families being anti war but reality discredits these lies. War-families are supporting the war 100%, no questions asked.
The war on terror brought Americans closer in the understanding what it takes to keep America free, to allow us to continue our Godly lifestyles. The American lifeblood is the willingness to sacrifice in the name of the Lord, sacrifice for America.
In the end we can all agree that it was worth it.

I respect our citizens in uniform. My cousin Nathan is in the marines and has been for about 4 years now. Trust me, he wants out. he thought that the service would help him in his future, but it’s done nothing than tear his hopes down and destroy his future plans.

I should point out that Australia is another country founded on democratic ideals and a secular separation of church and state to ensure freedom of ALL religions.
We have only become subject to the threat of terror since participating in the Iraq war, thanks to our soundly defeated Ex-Prime Minister getting us involved (not only did he lose the election, he lost his seat, his party totally lost power and is now on the verge of complete dissolution).
Australia has a working schools system, excellent (and free) health care and none of the vast ghetto’s of poverty stricken under-class that America has. Similarly, we don’t have any nonsense about ‘intelligent design,’ Suggests a better educated population can avoid reverting to the dark ages as parts of the US are. People join the service not so much to defend their country, especially whe the country is not being threatened to begin with. And to be quite honest, I don’t think any “SANE” person would LOVE to just up and give their entire priceless life away for a war that stands for nothing but greed.
And I never said that the army wasn’t voluntary. My cousin, along with thousands of other men and women, joined the service to receive a fully paid scholarship to college and not have to worry about being in debt until they’re 50. America is already in debt because of this greed war. Why would the future senior citizens of this nation want to be in even more debt???

Hi - I am sorry - I go back in history again - for me personally, the War in Vietnam was the same old song like we have in Iraq now. I still read or listen to the same (old) arguments between Conservatives and Democrats like 30 years ago.
Vietnam 1971: The Republicans claimed: We stand to win against the Vietcong! The Democrats replyed: We don`t win and the war is too expensive. We have to leave this land! The Republicans said: You godless democrats! Our christian friends from South Vietnam need our support and we stand to win - every single battle we won! The democrats replyed again: Yes we actually won and over 58.000 young Americans died. Every year we support the S-Vietnamese Army with the sum of 1 billion Dollars and the money disappears……
Basically the same arguments I hear between Republicans and Democrats right now. But the very best is - now, 30 years later - Vietnam became a friend of the States - their rapprochement began in business, tourism, investigations ….a rapprochement between the States and Vietnam began.
The “Islamofascists” are conservativ muslims, which have the same way of thinking like all conservative people. They are so convinced as well and say: Only we go the heaven - Allah is the only God! The world was made for Muslims only! They actually claim, the Christians are wrong.
Ask your CIA officers - they know the real situation in this land. And I still remember to some Vietnam Vets in the 70ies. Everybody of them told me, we didnt know for what we fought, for what our friends died……the propaganda said, we have to fight against the godless communists (Vietcong), otherwise they would occupy whole Southeast Asia.
The reality was complete different - the plan of the Vietcong was not to occupy whole Southeast Asia (like the Republicans said) they decided to reunite their land - and they did. Now they became friends.
The whole world knows, just the oil in Iraq is important - and Iraq is a very good strategic point - to control the whole Middle East. No one of the politicians are interested, if they become Christians or not. They can believe in whatever the like.
The Iraqi people are so different like we - there are ultra conservatives - many of them prefer a western democracy - many believe, a kingdom would be the best for their country…..and so on. But most important is - nearby all of them want to live a peaceful life. The problem is (like everywhere) the (wrong) propaganda in the Middle East at all. Just the islamic clercis create an evil propaganda and they influence the people - mostly the young people, to fight against the west - against the Christians - against us.
Right now 1,3 billion muslims exist all over the islamic world and they stick together. The Islam has about 1,3 billion followers worldwide - this is a bit too much.
Most of them are not interested to commit suicide attacks - these natives love their family, their children, their nice home, their work. Like we!! Just a minority of them are “crazy islamofascists”. The main problem are the international medias - just the evil people are on the headlines of the newspapers or stand in the international spotlight. That makes us believe, all muslims are fanatics and we call them islamofascists. Some of them of course - but not the majority.
By the way - I was a couple of times in the Middle East - I am scubadiver and marine biologist - I checked what kind of coral fish species in the Red Sea exist and so on - on this way I met a lot of different muslims - therefore I know a bit these people.
