A Letter from a Reader - Victory In Iraq
Shelley
Forgive me for writing anonymously, but I am a VERY SENIOR soldier serving our country in Iraq. I cannot speak openly about events there because of the hateful liberal media. However, it is critically important that the American People understand the situation there. America has a mission from God of enormous significance. We must act decisively to fulfill this mission. The way is clear, but there are many, even in the White House and Pentagon, that shrink from the measures necessary. They do not understand that God has chosen us and we must do what must be done to fulfill His command.
First, a short history lesson. Did you know that in 1500 the Christian population of Mexico was 0%? Then the Spanish brought Civilization and by 1600 the Christian population was 100%. Today, it is still 100%. Although we cannot approve of either Papism or the Spanish methods, I as a military man cannot argue with the results. What the Spanish did was go city to city, village to village and house to house. They gave every individual a simple choice. Renounce their pagan “religion” and accept God, or die. Faced with that choice, most individuals were able to accept God’s gift. The ones who did not were fanatics (or as we call them now, terrorists) and were burned at the stake as a first taste of Hell.
Why, Shelly, do you think that at this critical period in history God has sent a Christian army into the Middle East? Not just any Christian army, but the most powerful and righteous army the world has ever seen? And how do we deal with a country hijacked by religious fanatics? Iraqis are mostly good people who are terrorized by corrupt and evil religious “leaders”. The way forward for us is clear. Stability in Iraq, in the Middle East, in the entire World will only come when Iraqis are liberated from religious oppression and given the freedom to be Christians, as God wants them to be.
We must be hard but fair. We must go city to city, village to village and house to house. We must give each individual a clear choice, accept Jesus as your savior, or go to Hell. Now. As we know most people yearn for the freedom to be Christian, most will joyfully accept this opportunity. The ones who do not are precisely the type of fanatic terrorists we are trying to hunt down and eliminate. Children of terrorists, will be placed with good Christian families for re-education. When all Iraqis are free to worship God in Christian churches, we WILL be treated as liberators and showered with roses.
Some cynics may say that Iraqis will only pretend to accept Jesus in order to preserve their lives. They do not understand the power of Jesus Christ or the United States Army. We can give a simple test to assure all that the new Christians are sincere. The US Army will provide all with a good old-fashioned ham and cheese sandwich washed down with good old American beer. The false will be revealed and given a one-way ticket to Hell fire. The test will be given annually to all Iraqis for five years to ensure truthfulness.
Shelly, it is important that Americans be strong and do what is necessary to live up to God’s expectations. This is a test. Is America really God’s chosen country? Are we able to be his soldiers here on earth? I know that President Bush, the greatest American of all time, agrees with me. However, some in Washington do not. They say this is not a “military” operation. That we can’t “force” religion down people’s throats. That other countries like Saudi Arabia will not like it. These people have been in Washington too long. If God commands us, then all these objections are irrelevant. God is like the Supreme Commander In Chief, and his orders are not to be questioned.
Please, Shelly, let your faithful readers know what we must do. Let them pray that President Bush overcomes the naysayers and does what he knows is right. We, in Baghdad, are ready. With the backing of true American patriots, we can change the world!
****DP
note: for obvious reasons, I cannot answer any replies. That is why I have chosen you to alert. Of all the Righteous in America, only you Shelly, have a community powerful, informed and connected enough to see what we must do and get it done. When I return victorious from the Middle East and accept a new mission to lead America, you will be remembered.

“I cannot speak openly about events there because of the hateful liberal media.”
Yeah right, that´s why all we hear from the US Army is “everything´s fine”. Surely a massive ruse of the liberal media.
“America has a mission from God of enormous significance.”
About here, I stamped him as another clueless religious, over-zealous whacko who has nothing to say anyway. Some little private going “BAWWWWW” in anonymity, because if he did it openly, the Army would kick him in the balls.
“First, a short history lesson. Did you know that in 1500 the Christian population of Mexico was 0%?”
Gee, could that be because neither jesus himself nor anyone who had ever heard of him was unable to cross that huge pond called the Atlantic?
“Then the Spanish brought Civilization and by 1600 the Christian population was 100%.”
“Civilisation” consisting of the Indios getting either genocided or used as slave labor force. Wow, I´d kinda refuse such “civilisation”.
“Today, it is still 100%. ”
The last census reported, by self-ascription, that 95% of the population is Christian. Roman Catholics are 89%[1] of the total population, 47% percent of whom attend church services weekly.[2] In absolute terms, Mexico has the world’s second largest number of Catholics after Brazil.[3]
So not 100% and most are catholic, which Shelley abhorrs.
“What the Spanish did was go city to city, village to village and house to house. They gave every individual a simple choice. Renounce their pagan “religion” and accept God, or die. Replace christianity with islam and you have Osama bin Laden´s wet dream. So yeah, the Spanish were terrorists.
“fanatics (or as we call them now, terrorists)”
Someone get that man a dictionary.
“Iraqis are mostly good people who are terrorized by corrupt and evil religious “leaders”. ”
Especially since “someone” fucked up after disposing the secular government…
“Stability in Iraq, in the Middle East, in the entire World will only come when Iraqis are liberated from religious oppression and given the freedom to be Christians, as God wants them to be.”
Too bad that most Iraqui´s free will tends towards Islam. Take the fact that some idiot private that was shooting at a koran sparked a massive protest in front of his base that only ended after the guy got kicked from the army.
”

Sorry man, today´s world doesn´t approve of genocide. Have fun with the whole planet coming down on the USA like the fist of an angry god.
“We can give a simple test to assure all that the new Christians are sincere. The US Army will provide all with a good old-fashioned ham and cheese sandwich washed down with good old American beer. 1. There may be people that don´t like ham or beer for it´s taste or for being vegetarian.
2. Islam has that nullifying of sins stuff, too.
3. Have fun with the mother of all insurgencies.
“I know that President Bush, the greatest American of all time, agrees with me.”
Erm, no. If he would, he´d get impeached before the end of the day.
“However, some in Washington do not.”
Those are called “sane people”.
“They say this is not a “military” operation.”
It´s peace-keeping/occupying. Done by military, but quite differrent to actual war.
“That we can’t “force” religion down people’s throats. That other countries like Saudi Arabia will not like it.”
1. Yeah, it´s pretty impossible.
2. No one will like it. Good luck with the whole Middle East shutting down your oiland everyone on the planet stepping in in case you do something funny. Like trying to seize the oil fields.
“God is like the Supreme Commander In Chief, and his orders are not to be questioned.”
He thinks god talks to him personally. SOmeone get the man a psychatrist.
“We, in Baghdad, are ready. ”
Funnily, I have talked with quite a few US soldiers that were passing through in both directions (to Iraq/from Iraq) and no one of them is “ready”. Poor guys, many of them don´t even want to go. A short stop in Germany and then the flight right into Hadji county.
“When I return victorious from the Middle East and accept a new mission to lead America, you will be remembered.”
The man thinks he is gonna get president. Wow, what a looser.
To qoute someone from a forum I frequent (who happens to be a fucking US Marine Corps tanker):
“Using any sort of non-precision bombing as part of a war against terrorism, as dumb as that very term happens to be, is also quite dumb, nukes or conven.
Cultural and economic victory are the keys, as well as using spec ops to make hush-hush hits on known terror camps, cells, etc. That, and heavily increased intel operations. The main thing to remember above all else is that people like Al Qaida, Hammas, Hezbolla, etc. aren’t nations that can be bombed.
You can’t do this using the Clinton-style ‘fight from the air until they surrender’ crap.
Nope, it’s going to require a massive collaboration of the powers to actively work against this crap but without resorting to massive military operations. That’s exactly the shit Hadj wants us to do.
Hadj wants us to bomb people that have committed no real offenses.
Hadj wants us to mistreat the detainees.
Hadj wants us to give the moderate Muslims reason to see things the extremist way.
So, in the end it’ll be combined and coordinated ops using Delta, SEALs, SAS, and other elite outfits to hit these groups’ hidden places when they can be uncovered by a large-scale coordinated international intel agency collaboration. In the mean time, we need to keep exporting Western culture like crazy. Extol the virtues of modern economics and secular thought in a subtle yet very seductive way. Tempt them with better ways of living that they can actually attain. Seep into their minds with thoughts of individualism, secularism, passive/benevolent nationalism, tolerance, and some semblance of world community.
If we refrain from over-reacting and instead keep military action restrained to the point of quiet and barely heard of hits, keeping non-combatant cas to an absolute minimum, while keeping such a tight watch on terrorist related actions and communications, and enticing them with things obviously better than wasting away in a shithole because of some bullshit fanatics…we can win for real.
This is in essence a cultural war. It’s a war of ideals and concepts. A war not of nations and industries, but of philosophies and subtlety. The exact opposite kind of fight for regular troops, warships, and fighters.”
That is all.
Sorry for epic post lenght.

IMPEACH BUSH!
shelley, you wrote this, everybody knows it.
what’s wrong with you?
“And how do we deal with a country hijacked by religious fanatics?”
THAT’S the question. vote for obama, not for the fanatics.
hail eris.
“Congress shall make no law establishing a religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” That’s the first part of the 1st Amendment, but that’s obsolete under the New World Order (Seig Heil!) I suppose! The new, improved Crusades your plan,DP? Plan to force Jews in Israel to convert? How about Hindus in India,Buddhists in Tibet etc.? And after that, the new Salem Witch Hunts? There’s a problem with the ham sandwich and beer. Messianic Jews (Jews for Jesus) and Seventh Day Adventists don’t eat ham and some Christian fundamentalists are tetotallers! Some “freedom of religion” you offer! Only approved denominations allowed! P.S. What does “DP” stand for? Double Penetration? Going to cluster fuck the Iraqis? Seems like it to me! The most righteous army? When we have a military command supporting Abu Graihb and Gitmo sexual torture? When the military is recruiting street gang members along with Nazi skinheads and sending them to Iraq? “And how do we deal with a country hijacked by religious fanatics?” You mean like this country where foreign policy is run and supported by “Christian” and “Jewish” Zionist genocidal warmongers?
Guess what? You are delusional. God didn’t send you on a mission, your bastard of a president did. Peace, freedom and stability in Iraq will be non-existent for many decades, America is doing the same mistakes in Iraq that the Soviets did in Afganhistan. You are not liberators, you are oppressors. All in all, Iraq is the 21st century’s Vietnam.
Btw, does anyone notice certain similarities in the reasons why America invaded Iraq and why Nazi Germany invaded Denmark and Norway?
well written letter maybe shelley is right after all
shelley, you look hot by the way.. love ya!
oh shelley, i ain’t gay but i like to eat your pussy..

“What does “DP” stand for?”
The only thing that comes to my mind is Rick DiPietro of the NHL’s New York Islanders (asshats)
“i joined the republican party today thanks to you i can see the truth now shelley. you are a god to me! (ect.)”
“rofl you pathetic little pussy eating bitch…”
I wonder who the real Sara is… It’s so hard to tell, the fake one does such a good job…

Do want! MOAR!
Shelley’s pussy tastes like cherry pie? Probably more like a fish taco! LOL
Hi - I met many vets in my life but nobody was talking such an unrealistic crap. Therefore this letter was written by a person, who had never joined the army and he had never been to the Middle East, I am absolutly sure! Mexico: This “history lesson” is not right (the dates are a bit incorrect), and there are still Indios, who believe in their religion, right now it is a mix between our Christianity and their ancient religion.
I am sorry to say - but this person had never been to Iraq - no way! He had never been to the Middle East at all. You know, I have been a couple of times in islamic countries and the real situation is much more confused. Nearby all muslims believe in the Sharia, this is the islamic law. They are definitely not interested in our western democracy. The reason is simple, because their islamic preachers and many of their politicians say, we have to be proud in our cultur and our religion. Our history and cultur is 5000 years old - it is older as the European civilation or the American history, which is just 3-400 years old.
Of course, there are some christian communities in the Middle East. But they have a hard life right now, Most of them fled to Europe or to the States. These people in Iraq (or all over the Middle East) are absolutly not interested in our cultur or way of life.
But I remember very well, we had the same discussions at the end of the Vietnam War (early 70ies) Many US republicans claimed, South Vietnam needs our democratic constitution. But the reality was different. Most of the South Vietnamese people were actually communists. Just a small number of them admired the States or the western democratic constitution. These handfull of Vietnamese imigrated to the States at the end of the war 1975. Some came a bit later to Europe or to the States (boatpeople).
This person, who had written this articel, he had never been in foreign countries - I am certain of it!
But it is sensless, the STR believe in their unrealistic ideas and they are not able to learn more. They believe in their conservative pastors much more. I mean, I believe in God too - but I am sure and I know for sure, he would never talk such an absolutly crap. Open your eyes and open your ears - and read different newspaper.

Praise the Lord what a wonderful letter.
Peter,
what kind of vets do you know? Ex Australian army soldiers? Come on, now. We are talking about REAL soldier and not make-believe soldiers!
Shelley
@ Shelley
Obviously you aren’t, and how many vets do you know?
“what kind of vets do you know? Ex Australian army soldiers? Come on, now. We are talking about REAL soldier and not make-believe soldiers!”
And here I am, poiting out that the British and their Commonwealth, including Australia did, unlike some certain other country, fight WWII truly from beginning to end. And in North Africa, unlike the 1st US Armor they actually proved that they could put up a fight.
This is all moot anyway, as Peter´s an AUSTRIAN, not an Australian. Their soldiers are routinely humiliating US soldiers during NATO´s joint exercises, btw.

IMPEACH BUSH!
Hi Shelley - Between 2003 - 2008 I was a couple of times in Egypt, Turkey and Syria. I met 3 ex-GI`s, not much. They told me a bit about the situation in Iraq. If you are in arabian countries and you talk to natives, the war in Iraq is their main subject. One of my cousins (this family lives in S-Texas) - he was in Iraq too and he told me also about their experiences in Iraq and the situation.
All their impressions and experiences are complete different to this letter. If you are in Arab-countries, you can feel very well, how the Arabs think about this war. I am also young men in Egypt, some young Arabs, they dicided to go to Iraq, to help their brothers and sisters in the war against the States.
Many people in these arabian countries are illiterates - their only news they get from preachers - or in the tea-houses. You can imagine very well, how different their news to our news actually are!
So it is not very advisable to talk US-English in the Middle East - especially in public. All natives say, the Americans are interested in our oil only. US citizens are not very popular - it is dangerous for them, if they would go alone through Cairo, Damaskus or Beirut.
I like to travel, therefore I met many different people - in the 70ies (in my younger years) I met some Vietnam Vets in Greece. Their situation was not funny, they told me. In summary, my impression was or is, they are not proud to be vets. And the US didnt won in Iraq. This is just propaganda - nothing more!
