All my life, I’ve tried to be a good mother. I’ve kept my son Peter away from drug-pushers, homosexuals and atheists. I’ve kept him out of trouble, but recently it’s all gone wrong:

As a young child my son attended church regularly. At school he got good grades and won prizes for memorizing the verses Holy Bible. In short, he was a great kid with a great fututure: But last week he was arrested by the police for beating up and allegedly killing a local homosexual kid who was notorious for spreading his vice around the neighborhood.

Shortly after Petey was arrested I found out from one of his friend’s moms that he had been playing a video game called “Grand Theft Auto 4″ which featured exactly this kind of scene.

The evidence is clear - this evil video game turned my son into a murderer. It’s time for all concerned parents to take action against this evil that is ruining our society.

Mary, thanks for your letter. Evil video games like GTA4 are responsible for a crime-wave that is sweeping across America. According to our own survey over fifty percent of crime in America may have been caused by this pernicious game.

This New-York suburb has been tainted with a pornographic image of a woman sucking on a lollipop. Please re-read Shelley’s informative article on this subject and then tell me if you believe this is a responsible way to advertise a XXX rated video game!

We agree with you - there can be no doubt that video games are killing our children. We must unite against this hellish force of corruption.

You might have noticed that my posts have been rather infrequent - the truth is I’ve been giving virtually every spare moment I have to the McCain campaign: We owe it to Jesus to help the Republican party any way we can! We must guarantee another four years of Republican government. And between you and me, when John McCain gets elected I’ve been promised an important role as the new Presidential Data-retention advisor!

As STR’s senior technology correspondent I’m often asked why it is that the open-source freetards have failed to catch-up with even ten-year old mainstream technology such as Windows 2000. While many people suspect the answer is the self-limiting communistic dogma that software has to be free, the truth is far more complex:

A serious examination of Linux will reveal that much of it is built from a hodge-podge of incompatible “scripting languages” rather than real programming languages; this naturally results in sluggish performance and the unpredictability of a bucking-bronco. But what is a scripting language?

Real programming languages such as C++, C# and VB.Net are serious affairs that build highly optimized code suitable for any component of an operating system. Serious products like Microsoft Word and Microsoft’s cmd.exe are built entirely using these solid, trustworthy tools.

On the other hand scripting languages such as “python”, “perl” and “ruby” are built as educational toys or pranks. While they have a place in the hobbyists toolbox, and as lessons in what future language designers should avoid their slow execution and costly memory overhead make them unsuitable for any important or business critical task.

The serious programming languages are noteworthy for their long-lasting appeal: VB.Net is as stable, flexible and easy to learn as the original Visual Basic released almost 15 years ago. On the other hand, new-kid Python is the latest craze amongst open-sourcers despite only having reached version 2.5! The Python language is notorious fror it’s frequently changing, incomprehensible syntax - it’s virtually impossible to make a program that runs in any consistent way for a period of time.

Astonishingly the Linuxers have yet to realize this - many components of Ubuntu and Redhat (two somewhat popular kinds of Linux Kernel) use Python for their package updater - see our previous Linux 8.04 review for just how bad this experience was!

Ultimately, if these Linuxes ever want to grow up and be ready for the world of business they will need to abandon these development fads and embrace what is tried, tested and true. This year Python is the fashonable language, but next year the freetards might decide that Perl is “in” again… and then what next? How can any serious power-user keep up with these rapidly changing bizarrely named tool-chains? The answer is that they will be avoided.

1. You will live a life filled with love and joy. You won’t feel depressed, you wont feel the urge to have gay sex. Your life will be a Heavenly experience. When you die it will be painless and you will float up to Heaven. In Heaven you will meet Jesus. He will give you a loving hug and show you around. Heaven is your most beautiful dream come true. Everything is possible. You will spend eternity in everlasting bliss.

2. Your life will be filled with doubt and hate. You will be depressed and angry. You will start hating yourself. You will start drinking and having more butt-sex. You will start mutilating yourself, just to feel the pain. Every day of your life will be one filled of senseless violence, hate and you will always be on the losing side. Your death will be long and painful. After you die, Satan will greet you. He will make you bleed, he will pour salt in your wounds. He will laugh about your tears. He will rip the skin from your body and when you pass out from terrible pain, he will wake you up and continue. He will roast you alive. He will lock you in a small case and set you on fire. He will electrocute you. He will rip out your fingers. He will cut out your eyes and you wish you could die but you can’t, cause you are already dead. This will go on for all eternity and then, maybe then you will you would stopped voting democ-rat, being gay and taking drugs. Maybe then, but by then it’s too late.

So, what shall it be, folks?

When does it stop??? Another liberal caught abusing children!

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5 / AP / BCN) ? Former KGO Radio talk show host Bernie Ward admited Thursday that he distributed child pornography and could face at least five years in federal prison following a plea deal.

Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker agreed to hold off on accepting Ward’s plea to one count of distributing child pornography until an Aug. 28 sentencing hearing. That allows Ward to avoid going to prison until then.

The charge carries a possible maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a mandatory minimum of five years in prison. Defense attorney Doron Weinberg said he expects Ward to be in prison for at least four years.

Ward, 57, told the judge in court Thursday that he was aware that the pornographic images he sent on the Internet in 2004 contained sexually explicit pictures of children. Ward said he was researching a book, but according to federal law the intent does not matter.

Ward, a former weeknight talk host on KGO-AM, was originally charged with two other counts of receiving and attempting to send child pornography in January 2005. Those charges were dropped as part of the plea bargain.

Ward is a former Roman Catholic priest who also hosted a Sunday morning show on KGO called “God Talk.”
