Election 2008 special: The candidates’ backgrounds
Dear friends,
As you know in the approach to the election 2008 that will decide the fate of the world, it is STR.com’s intent to take a fair and balanced approach to each candidate and neutrally and soberly judge each on their own merits.
In the first of a series of article looking into the suitability of each man, we today look at their respective backgrounds.
So what separates Barack Hussein Obama II (pronounced 
) and John McCain (pronounced, John McCain)?
Well! About 3,000 miles to start off with.
Barrack Hussain Obama
It’s well known that Barrack was brought up by Hula-girls on Hawaii, but this is no reason to judge against him. Hawaii is one of the happy states of our great nation, after all. Far more troubling is what researchers term his “deep background” and specifically his Muslim father. This Islamist, Barrack Obama Snr, was originally brought up in deepest Africa in the village of Nyang’oma Kogelo (try saying that with a mouthful of pretzels!)

Wikipedia states:
“Nyang’oma Kogelo is a village in Siaya District, Nyanza Province, Kenya. Nyang’oma Kogelo is part of South East Alego electoral ward of Siaya County Council and Alego Constituency. South East Alego is also an administrative location in Karemo division of Siaya District. The village has a primary school.”
Just about the only words I understood in that were “primary school”, which I suppose is better than nothing. But what to these Muslims teach in their madras? The Koran? How to hate America? When they will take over the USA riding in on the back of their winged horse Barrack?
What else happens there? Well, it is difficult to know what goes on in these dark regions, so far from civilisation. When European explorers first discovered territories like the one where Obama’s ancestors lived, they generally found the natives cooking each other up in pots and wearing bones through their noses.

It’s true to say that just as not every Democ-rat is a homosexual, not every African is a cannibal. But it’s also true to say that there’s no smoke without a fire - and in this case the fire is almost certainly burning under a fat joint of what natives like to call “long-pig”. It’s not certain that the Obama White House would see the first human stews made in its kitchens, but it’s not impossible.
Even more distressing for freedom loving Americans, however, are the shadowy rumors that have come to the attention of the STR.com team about the ancient conspiracy fermented in that mysterious region concerning “a son” of theirs who will be send to “the white citadel” to “end the joys of the great enemy” and usher in an “eternity” of sharia law. This dark son would dress in the “clothes of the enemy” rather than traditional grass skirts, hide his dark brooding intent under a watermelon smile and take “victory” by the “great nation’s own methods.” Then he would destroy everything that the founding fathers held dear, steal freedom and kill all Christians.
The rumors are vague and shadowy as stated. So should we give credence to these rumors? Probably not. But perhaps think on them when you pray and when you think of who to vote for. Every available factor should be incorporated into such a momentous decision making process after all.
John McCain
Fortunately for those readers with a short attention span there is far less mystery, confusion, darkness and innuendo surrounding John McCain’s background. He is a good all-American war hero whose grandfather and father helped defend our nation against its enemies as Admirals in our great navy. There is little more that needs to be said that aren’t words of praise for his illustrious ancestors and so in the interests of neutrality, it is our intent not to say more. But think on these things too when you pray for God’s guidance on where to put your voting cross.

Funny. I thought Islamists would predominantly come from the Middle East, not from Africa. Seems you´re lying again.

Given that Kenya isn´t really known for it´s islamistic traditions, I really doubt that that´s an islam-school. Especially as those are intended as additional education and not as primary schools.

Given that the entire area has been thoroughly explored decades ago and is likely to have it´s own street network for a long time, I´d be surprised if it wouldn´t resemble a modern town.

You forgot the part where he was shot down over Vietnam (at least HE did take part in that war and didn´t go AWOL like Bush), seemingly became almost a traitor and is about as much liked as the plague in veteran circles.

I’m afraid that you have it wrong on the point that Kenya’s public schools are Muslim. After all, the CIA World Factbook states that Kenya is Protestant 45%, Roman Catholic 33%, Muslim 10% (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ke.html).
Not only is the majority of Kenya Christian, Obama’s father himself had doubts about Islam mid-way through his life.
God has spoken to me and convinced me to go to church. Couldn’t He have spoken to Obama for him to go to church. Why is it that everybody can become a Christian except prominent Democratic Party politicians?
I have a good friend that is very, very conservative. He supports “a small nuclear warhead to the President’s compound”. He hates abortion. He hates gay marriage. But he finds the view that Obama is not fully Christian, or is Muslim/atheist to be rather stupid and humorous.
But I cannot say for sure. We can only hope that we find out after we die.
