If you take away the moral compass that can only come from the Bible, this is what happens. Germany started two world wars, killed almost 65 Million people in these wars, burned 7 million Jews and now they want to have the right to have sex with children and eat them???

i hate to be the one to tell you this shelley goodman nobody has a right to make people accept jesus against their own will and you damn sure can’t make germans accept jesus either. if people want to serve god they should want to and not be forced to.

Hello everyone,
it’s been a while since I posted something, I realised it’s much less time-consuming and just as much fun to just read the articles. However, I couldn’t be quiet on this one, as first of all I’m a proud European, but moreover this article is just too easy not to debunk. So here it goes:
By saying that you imply God is ‘missing’ from Europe. However, if you had tried to backup your meaningless claims with facts, you would stumble upon the following: Europe counts approximately 553 million Christians, being 76% of the population (*). North America has approximately 275 million Christians, or 83% of the population (*). In other words, Europe is far from Godless. In fact, the US and Europe contain about the same percentage of believers.
Now let’s go on to your so-called effects of this allready disproven Godlessness.
Once again, check the facts. Whereas the violence-related mortality rate in England is 26 per 100000 citizens, in the US this number almost doubles to 47 per 100000 citizens (**). Therefore, if you state the violence in England to be incredible, the violence in the US must be fenomenal.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find child-rape statistics for both Belgium and the US. However, Shelley is the one who made the unfunded claim, so I challange you, Shelley, to prove the connection between Godlessness (which I’ve allready proven Belgium isn’t) and mass child rape. Remember: Innocent until proven guilty!
Once more, just because you might have heard an isolated incident on your precious Fox News doesn’t mean the whole country is infested with such crimes. It would be like me saying that all High School children in the US shoot eachother just because I’ve heard about a single incident somewhere on the news. It’s ridiculous.
All right, let’s look at Europe’s most non-Christian countries and compare their HDI with the US, shall we? HDI is the Human Development Index, based on health of the population, gross national income and level of education.
Netherlands — 50.0% non-Christian — HDI: 0.953 (***,****)
Switzerland — 20.7% non-Christian — HDI: 0.955 (***,****)
Finland — 15.1% non-Christian — HDI: 0.952 (***,****)
France — 15.0% non-Christian — HDI: 0.952 (***,****)
United States — 21.6% non-Christian — HDI: 0.951 (***,****)
Well, interestingly enough, in Europe’s most non-Christian countries, it seems to go better than in the US. But even more remarkable is that the US seems to be around as much non-Christian as the average European country!
Wrong again. Germany does not want to have the right to have sex with children and eat them. Once again, don’t blow isolated incidents out of proportion by extrapolating them to the entire country.
But more importantly, you claim the mass-killings the Germans conducted in the World Wars somehow have something to do with being Godless (which they aren’t; see my prove above). Let’s look at the wars the US have waged in the past then, shall we? (*****)

Hi - oh yes - I can imagine well, why Shelley and the STR blame Europe.
But we have such narrow-minded people in Europe too, who are convinced, the USA has the highest crime rate. This has different reasons:
1) “We are better citizens as the neighborhood” (this is the human nature, to blame the neighborhood - this mindset is as old as the human race)
2) The worldwide press can sell terrible news much better as good news. Especially such worst crimes like cannibalism, child abusing, incest and so on.
If the US press puts words like “child abusing” on their headlines, they can sell their news much better as the daily average news.
However - It is true, we had 4 or 5 incest cases in Europe in recent years. The cannibalism case in Rothenhorst, Germany is still well known, (Even a book and a DVD appeared, who tells about the “cannibalism-scene” in Europe. So, US people like Shelley hear about that and hear something about “Germany” and her first association is: “This is their evil and worst “livestile in Germany!!!”).
It has nothing to do with reality - but on the other hand we have European-STR too, who blame the States.
It is right, we had terrible incest cases in Austria, Belgium and Britan I think too. Also this capture-case in Austria was a shock for all Austrians and Austrian citizens said: “Why can this happen in our peacful, clean and goodfearing country?”
Men kept young women imprisoned for a couple of years or even decades.
Actually we had some horrific crimes in Europe the last 4-5 years. But I was reading about awful cimes in the States or in Asia, Africa…as well. Narrow-minded Europeans believe, in the US are much more criminals as in Europe. It continues and they are convinced, all these terrible US criminals influence our good old Europe. Most of the Europeans are convinced - only in Europe are the best Christians, because we have the pope in Italy (by the way - Pope Benedict is a German born citizen too). The oldest Christian communities are in Europe - and not in the States.
The next step is - the US press puts the worst crimes on their headlines - everybody buys this newpaper or watch it on TV. People read that and they are convinced, just in foreign countries can happen such terrible crimes. We would never have such worst crimes in our homeland.
A high number of Europeans are convinced, God lives in Europe only - and not in America. (All criminals and their evil ideas come from the States and they try to contaminate Europe) The Christian tradition began in Europe almost 2000 years ago and many Europeans claim, Europe has the highest precentage of Christians.
Anyway - this is the human nature - to blame the neighborhood and to honor his homeland.

the human nature thing you are right about Peter. that thing in austria was a father that kept his daughter locked up in a basement for years. had several kids with her. real sicko. but that could be anyplace in the world.
you know whats interesting, the number of murders in Europe are almost as high as the USA. If you include Russia then europe is way over the top. but for sure a quick count was around 13500 murders in europe. not a good chunk of evidence for gun control in the states. people will find a way to kill each other with or without guns.
looking at the crime statistics for the USA I am convinced that they are not so free as everyone thinks they are. they put people in jail for anything and everything! thats not freedom. thats a police state. Even more amazing the UK with a population of 60 million people with 1/2 the number of criminals of the USA. interesting to say the least. makes me want to pack up go! …. some place other than there……. ;-)
are you retarded? How is god missing in society from germany? In germany you have to take either christianity or ethics class. Plus cults and nazism are illegal. And why are you suddenly caring about jews aren’t they on your “God’s Hitlist”. Also you can’t just invade europe it’s a continent not a country and how come you think god loves america so much more than any other country considering in the united states 85% of the population are christian while in the UK 88% of the population are christian.
