The Democrats have ruined the economy!

Friends,

When the Democrats assumed control over Congress and the Senate last year, who knew that their policies would be responsible for the collapse of a major investment bank and the near-collapse of some of America’s most important financial institutions. Back then we at Shelley The Republican were lone voices, protesting the Democrats insane policy of over-regulation, preventing our institutions from competing in the global marketplace.

John McCain promises to clean up the mess left by his foolish Democrat rivals who have mis-managed the American economy. If only the media would listen to this wise patriot rather than the hysterical nonsense of Barack Obama.

Speaking today, John McCain spoke of the urgent need to reform America’s finance law. All his political life John McCain and his partner Sarah Palin have stood for financial responsibility, so nobody could be more qualified to clean up the Democrat’s mess than these two great mavericks.

What’s barry’s solution: Hear it in his own words - more regulation! Surely he knows that it’s his own party’s obsessive over-regulation that got us into this mess to begin with? That’s why you should never trust the democrats with money.

McCain also proposed an investigative commission which would determine what exactly has caused the recent financial adjustments. Naturally the Obama campaign dismissed this sensible precaution as a “trick” - most likely because they do not wish it to be known that it was their policies which have created this disaster.

it’s time to get big-government off the back of our financial institutions. It’s time to slash the regulations imposed by the Democrats and let the free market bring wealth to us all.

Yours in Christ,

Jimmy Goddard

That’s so right Billy - we ought to take a plan from Sarah Palin’s economic playbook: She cut taxes for Alaskans, plus ever citizen of the state gets an annual rebate from the government. Just look at the economic miracle that is Alasica - we need Palinomics for the whole of America.

Bullshit. The crisis has been caused by the rampant deregulation pressed by the Bush government in it´s first term. The market from then on became a bubble and now the bubble´s bursting. Anything the dems did in the last year would not affect the economy now, it doesn´t work that fast.

” John McCain promises to clean up the mess left by his foolish Democrat rivals who have mis-managed the American economy. If only the media would listen to this wise patriot rather than the hysterical nonsense of Barack Obama.”

Wow, vague promises. Let him explain HOW he´s gonna solve the problem. Otherwise he´s just talking out nof his ass. But then, that´s the natural state of affairs with McCain and his campaign.

“Speaking today, John McCain spoke of the urgent need to reform America’s finance law. All his political life John McCain and his partner Sarah Palin have stood for financial responsibility, so nobody could be more qualified to clean up the Democrat’s mess than these two great mavericks.”

    1. Calling either of them mavericks is a fucking lie.
    2. Yeah, republicans are standing for financial responsibility. that´s why the last 4 republican presidents all had massive deficits in the federal budget, while Bill Clinton had a surplus.

” What’s barry’s solution: Hear it in his own words - more regulation! Surely he knows that it’s his own party’s obsessive over-regulation that got us into this mess to begin with? That’s why you should never trust the democrats with money.”

He lines the problem out better than McCain and he actually brings on both actual solutions instead of vague promises AND rightfully lamblasts McCain for his dirty campaigning. Well, and as always he´s got like 10 times as much as charisma as McCain.

“McCain also proposed an investigative commission which would determine what exactly has caused the recent financial adjustments. Naturally the Obama campaign dismissed this sensible precaution as a “trick” - most likely because they do not wish it to be known that it was their policies which have created this disaster.”

No, it´s a trick because anyone with even the slightest idea knows how the crisis came into being. Wall Street, unregulated thanks to Bush, became drunk on it´s own power, instigated absolutely irresponsible business practices to get more and more and more profit and in the end, the entire stock markets became fat and fatter. And now they are crumbling under their own weight.

“it’s time to get big-government off the back of our financial institutions. It’s time to slash the regulations imposed by the Democrats and let the free market bring wealth to us all. ”

Ahh, the Republican hate of “big government”. Fucking hypocrits, you were all for big government when it came to wiretapping phones, socialising the mage corporations losses with taxpayer money and generally build a bureaucracy as thick and bloated as nothing before. It´s the republicans that stand for big government!

“We can’t let that Homobama fella monkey around with our economy! Or that’s irish drunk, neither! It’s already been proved that homobama is a voodoo priest and with voodoo priest you get voodoo economics. We gotta fall on our knees and pray for God’s forgiveness and vote for Alan Keyes!”

You proved *nothing*. All you did was spewing around unbased bullshit lies that could get you in front of a court for libel and smearing if anyone would give a fuck about your delusions.

“That’s so right Billy - we ought to take a plan from Sarah Palin’s economic playbook: She cut taxes for Alaskans, plus ever citizen of the state gets an annual rebate from the government. Just look at the economic miracle that is Alasica - we need Palinomics for the whole of America.”

Yeha, and all of it is financed by federal earmarks, IE taxpayer money from other states. Which menas that Alaska´s nothing but a parasite. The US govenrment has noone lending them that much money. That and pork barrel spending galore, like Palin backing the “Bridge to Nowhere”. Sarah Palin will destroy the american economy once and for all when she gets to be in power, so vot eher in, I´m gonna laugh at your country hitting rock bottom if you´re stupid enough to do so.

In all honesty, Georgie should have listened to his daddy in this case. As flawed as George H.W. Bush was, he at least knew that running a war will cost something and that someone has to pay for it. He also knew that Reagonomics are not working at all and actually did the right thing by raising taxes.

Gergie junior on the other hand always did only what would be popular in the short term and now the entire country is paying the bill for his ineptitude.

The Failed Policies Of George “Hoover” Bush are responsible for the Economy. He took office with a record budget surplus, GONE, the steepest decline in Poverty in over 40 Years, he has now reversed that to the quickest rise in Poverty in 40 years. What did the Rape-The-Public-Cons do:
A quick reminder of what the last eight years of Republican Rule has brought us:
    1. The Largest Budget Surplus turned into the Largest Budget Deficit
    2. The Quickest Rise in Commodity Prices
    3. The Fastest Rise in Poverty levels in over 45 years
    4. The Occupation of Two Countries
    5. The Department of Homeland Security
    6. The Lies of Katrina
    7. 9/11/01
    8. The largest percentage rise in Hunger in America in 30 years.
    9. Bank Failures
    10. Home Mortgage Foreclosures
    11. A Culture of Government Corruption
    12. A Government for the Corporations and against the People
    13. Torture
    14. The collapse of FEMA
    15. Decaying Infrastructure
    16. The Energy Crisis
    17. ENRON
    18. International Disgrace
    19. The Destruction of the Bill of Rights

Nonsense - George W. Bush is currently unpopular because he had the courage to do what is right. He had the courage to cut taxes and reduce the size of government when all around him libtards begged him to do exactly the opposite.

George W. Bush and John McCain understand that despite the recent adjustments in our economy the fundamentals are still strong.

This is class. By juxtaposing McCain’s Hoovers-eque “The fundamentals of the economy is strong”, with Obama’s ad on his plans and how he’s rising above partisan bickering, I’m now sure that Jimmy Goddard really has America at heart, despite how he claims to be against Obama.

“Nonsense - George W. Bush is currently unpopular because he had the courage to do what is right. He had the courage to cut taxes and reduce the size of government when all around him libtards begged him to do exactly the opposite.”

Yeah, and he did exactly that because it´d be popular in the short term. Now the country´s facing the consequences of his stupidity. And that he reduced the size of the government is a fucking lie. Besides, he´s unpopular for another reason you twit. That being rampant corruption and cronyism as well as the clusterfuck that is Iraq.

Fact is, the economy has taken a dive because Wall Street were overly greedy asstards for the better part of the last decade and hence made the housing market into a bubble economy not unlike the one the Japanese had a few years ago. Now the bubble´s bursting and everyone tries to save his ass. Oh, and nice, the US government doesn´t leave the market alone, $900 billion in bailouts and loans this year alone. IE socialising the losses by punishing the taxpayers for the investors failures.

Bush senior was a statesman first. Not perfect, but adequate. He did the unpopular thing by raising taxes and fixing the economic debacle that the reaganomics were (voodoo economy anyone?). George junior is politician first and foremost. The only thing he cares for and cared for were his popularity and his own legacy. And by doing so, he ensured that his legacy will be one of absymal failure.

Hi - the first time I was reading about troubles in the US economic system last week.
I can`t understand it, since 8 years W.Bush and his goverment rule this nation - and please, who is responsible?
A goverment, who isn`t able to watch and to control the free enterprise and their home industry, such a goverment is senseless.
This current goverment was interested in the war on terror only and forgot to control their economy. The boss is responsible - not the employees and workers. I am neutral - not left - not right, but your current president made a lot a bad mistakes - sad but true! The big problem with you is, you don`t want to see the facts and you are not good educated and informed in the global economy.
Open your eyes - China for instant, this nation is successful - their economy and trade increase and they have a web of great connections to many countries - they will be the winner next year. Even Russia became powerful again and the Euro is still stronger as the Dollar.
I don`t want a president in my homeland, who forgets to control and to watch the global economy - we have different mainstreams and different rules as in the past. It seems to me, the American people still believe, their nation is still the strongest in all respects. No more - even the Russian Army became powerful again, they have more nuclear weapons as 20 years ago, during the Cold War. Billions of Dollars disappeared in the sand of the Middle East - Bush spent billions of Dollars to catch Osama bin Laden and to bring peace to Iraq. Osama is stil at large and we have still suicide bombers in Iraq.
The CIA was a great secret service between the 50ies till to the 80ies. They had a solid global network during the Cold War - but now, even the CIA was not able to catch Bin Laden.
However - I hope the goverment will start to control the free enterprise, banks, finances and the Wallstreet brokers now - the people need jobs, food and energy.
You can be sure, taxes will soar.
