When the Mexican finishes his beer, he throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, ‘In Mexico , our glasses are so cheap we don’t need to drink with the same one twice.’

Hi - I am actually wondering, since the earlist days the USA is a mix of different cultures, colors and mentalities.
Since 300 years people from all over the globe immigrate to North America. Since the early 19th century, also people from China, India, Philippines, Middle East, Polynesia and so on…….came to the States to find a new life. There are a lot of US citizens, who have their roots and ancestors in the Arabian World, in Mexico, in India, China and so on.
My cousin from TX told me, many farmers from the south need all these cheap workers from Mexico. They prefer them - they are cheap and busy workers.
In the case of Europe, workers from Turkey, Ex-Yugoslavia, Egypt, Iran and so on come to Central Europe in high numbers since 30 years. The industry needed them in the 60ies and 70ies. In the 80ies and 90ies the first troubles began between local inhabitants and foreign workers, refugees and immigrants. Different culturs, different way of lifes, different views can provoke tensions or even quarrels - at work, at home, in public, in school…..
You can be safe as houses, also in Europe we have a lot of jokes in relating to Turkish or Yugoslavian workers.
The world became small - flying is cheap - we can travel to all countries - we just need 18 hours to fly to the other side of the globe. For us, the earth became a “village”. That means, nowadays we have different culturs, different mentalities, different meals (different smellings and music) even in our neighborhood. Our neighbors, who live next door, became international………..
Also in Europe we have racist currents. They claim, the islamic foreign workers steal our jobs - rape our women and they are definitely benefit cheats.
In many EU countries we have foreign workers or immigrants, who defraud the national social insurance - this is sadly true. On the other hand our social insurance system is easy to betray. Many Christian countries have a xenophobic history. Especially Austria and this can be the main reason, why our politcians help every single refugee (if he is poor or not……). Unfortunatelly many of these islamic foreign workers are really cheats, who presume the good nature of some citizens. This is an important point, why racism increased and the right wing parties became stronger in Europe since the 90ies.
Of course, we have a lot of good people from the Middle East. But most of our islamic families have adaptive difficulties - they want to bring their “traditional” or “islamic” laws to Europe. For instant - to opress women and their wifes and daughters, they actually beat them - women have no rights in the traditional islamic world. This kind of “islamic tradition” caused an outcry all over Europe. But they have much more absurd and even brutal laws or views in their islamic world, they want to spread their islamic livestile all over the globe. People with islamic roots and ideas try to penetrate the politics and the parliament - and they are successful.
But in the case of the States I can`t understant their racism. The US is a young nation, since the beginning people from all over the globe work and live there. Of course, the majority are white Christians from Europe, their ancestors immigrated to the States. But since the beginning you have different colors in the States - from Europe, Africa, Asia and South America - they work in the States since 200 years or even longer.
The European racism has his causes in the past. For instant, hundrets of years ago islamic troops tried to conquer Europe. The islamic Sarazens and Ottomans occupited Spain and the Balkan peninsula in the past. In Europe the disfavor against Islam and the Arabian tradition is old. Most responsible for the European racism was the Rom.Cath. Church in the past.
I realized, many US citizens believe, people from the Middle East (or from elsewhere) admire the States, they want to have the same lifestile. Some islamic foreigners maybe, but not the islamic majority, cause they love their homeland, fatherland and their traditions and cultur like we do.
It was different in the 60ies and 70ies. Many people from the Middle East prefered the American lifestile, some were lucky and immigrated to the States, got a good job and live since 30 years in the US.
But in the 80ies the relationships between the Arabian World and the USA became difficult sometimes - especially as the Shah from Iran had to leave Iran and Ayatholla Khomeini became the leader - the US lost their connections to this new Mullah state Iran complete. But the Soviet Union and their communism was still the most important enemy.
1989 the Soviet Union colapsed, they left Afghanistan and the young Holy Warriors (who fought against the Red Army in Afghanistan) lost their job. One of them was O.Bin Laden - their old enemy Soviet Union disappeared and their new goal was to fight against the States. Islamic preachers in the mosques gave them the order to destroy the States.
These islamic holy warriors and terrorists don`t admire the States, they want to stay in their islamic world. They want to spread the idea of islam all over the globe - this is their job.
